-sighs- God dammit, how much is it going to take? Whose ass do I have to kiss to get another fuckin' podium finisher?!
...Okay, Infinity. Stay calm. You'll get another one someday. Maybe they'll even be a mass murderer, if you're lucky. In the meantime...
Infinity pulls out his phone and dials a number.
Yeah, I've decided what I want to send in now. Drop a Glavenus and a Diablos in the arena... No, not just any Diablos. A Bloodbath Diablos. Let's see how the other tributes handle those beasts...
Infinity then hangs up.
...Maybe I should head into the games again sometime soon. I don't think I've died since before the reboot started, and I've almost forgotten what it feels like.
So, while these lore posts are good and all, anyone gonna set up the save for Dave to run?

Well, since everyone's joining in on the fun...

In the boardroom, there are a litany of pictures of accomplished tributes surrounding above the table; past champions in Charles Bronson, Ami Kawashima, Kirino Kousaka and Tommy Chong; Mass Murderers in Ernie the Giant Chicken, Miki Naoki and Apu Nahasapeemapetilon; Hunger Game legends in Vladimir Zeldin, Dennis Weaver, Mireille and Team Greenhorn. And alongside the table is a Red Leyland P76, resting on a podium not too far from the table.
The mood, unfortunately, is sadly softened as the series of members are waiting patiently as they can be, with some of them sweating over the news from yesterday. Adam Taurus, a Podium alumni, seems to be sweating underneath his mask. YouChew Champion Naoka Ueno, meanwhile, is seething with anger and disappointment. And two-time Third Place finisher Tae Yamada is quivering with concern with her hand near her mouth. Reigning Mayor Nate River, however, is lost in his world, playing with his action figures.
Suddenly, KLS comes in, sporting sunglasses as he reaches by his desk, grabbing the picture of ProJared. He then walks over to the meeting table, and sits in the empty chair.
“I assume that you now all know about Jared’s downfall from grace.”
The members nod sheepishly, with Tae grunting in similar fashion. KLS then grabs the frame, gets up and discards it out the window in response, before sitting back down.
“Well, all we can do now is to move on from this debacle as fast as possible. While he may have had some success, his series of misdemeanors is where I draw the line. As of now, he is blacklisted and forever barred from selection.”
The members nod, with Tae quickly following suit.
“Moving on to new business, I’m sure you all know that the Troper Games are coming up soon. I hope that we all do better than last time, when Near was suddenly gunned down by a hunter, who I’ve since personally thrown in jail for his offence after that game finished.”
Suddenly, a Flareon raises her hand. KLS removes his glasses to reveal her wearing a woman’s suit.
“Yes, Charlene?”
“Who do you have in mind, boss?”
sighs “I don’t know if I want to bring our reigning Mayor back for another round. It’s not because I don’t like him; he’s actually managed to gain my respect in the recent games. And I don’t want to part ways with him again over that game.”
“Why don’t you give it to a scapegoat?”
The members and KLS suddenly turn to Near, with his toys down and looking straight at KLS.
“What?”
“What I’m saying is for you to give it to a person who you don’t have any fond memories of, or has screwed up in the long run.”
“You’re not thinking of…”
“No, not him, Naoka. I was thinking of someone else.”
Suddenly, Near brings out a Blake doll, and thrusts it over to KLS. He takes it, and looks at it carefully.
“Think about it. You’ve turned your back on her ever since she attempted to get rid of Adam; whether or not it was malicious or out of spite, or even jealousy, she has to be the front-runner.”
Adam, normally stoic, suddenly raised his hand with concern. KLS placed the doll down.
“Yes, Adam?”
“Look, I know you and I had beef with her long ago, and that she has been trying to kill me, but think about this. You don’t want to do this.”
“But what other choice do I have?”
“No…”
“I mean, Naoka would probably pick Shoko – who I couldn’t even consider picking due to her disability; Charlene would probably pick any of the Geodude line just because they kept trying to take her with them; and Tae… well, we won’t quite know, because she can barely even come close to speaking.”
“NO! As much as I hate saying it, does she really deserve this?”
KLS thinks for a moment, before looking to the members.
“As much as I’d hate to admit it, Adam may be the voice of reason. So we may have to put the decision on hold for now with Mother’s Day around the corner, and consider our options before Game 45. We have to think carefully before making our next decision.”
The members nod calmly.
“After all, the best thing we can probably do is retire Nate River by then and introduce a fresh-face prospect that could get the job done. We can bring Near back at a future date when the time calls.”
“Yes… it’s been nearly 15 Games, but I think my time as Mayor could be over soon.”
“If you say so. In any case, don’t beat yourself up; you managed to get three notable tributes in the history books. It’s nothing to be ashamed of.”
Nate shows a smile.
“Thanks, boss.”
After a few moments, KLS slaps his hands together.
“Now, to break the mood, who’s ready for lunch?”
Tae yells happily, making some members chuckle.
“Alright, Tae, what do you want for lunch?”
Tae clucks like a rooster, even making KLS laugh.
“Alright. Chicken it is. As for everyone else, I want you to make your decision in 10 minutes.”
The menu suddenly appears under each member, as they begin discussing over what to have…

Note that Kangaskhan is considered as a singular tribute, and if she gets shipped, it'll be assumed that only the mother's involved.
Also, since the Ne'er-do-Wells will remain as is, they don't need special flagging, even if they contain brothers. Like I said when I nominated the Flim-Flam Brothers, if they get shipped, the third party will have a sibling threesome fantasy, so no incest.
Also, we're going to revise the No Controversial Figures Rule (Rule 7) so that certain tributes can be allowed back in after the controversies surrounding them have died down (usually several months, depending on how severe they are). However, some would be considered permabanned if they have been confirmed to have done something absolutely unforgivable (e. g. pedophilia).
And here's a poll regarding whether or not we should move the lore posts to another thread, which will close when this season begins.

So, is the event where one tribute guns down several others while they're drowning meant to be a reference to something?
Also, what's the event where a tribute claims that they suffer without their stolen... pet stone in an over-the-top manner referencing? Hey, I can't help it if y'all have wider reference pools to draw from than me, ya darn kids...

It's Bloodbath Diablos, not Bloodbath Diablo.
So, for "(Player 1) spits his/her drink after (Player 2) delivers a shocking news, but he/she stops in time and drinks the rest of it.", there shouldn't be an "a" between "delivers" and "shocking". And for "(Player 1) puts on a literal Plot Armor made of pages ripped out from a novel.", methinks it oughta be "a literal suit of Plot Armor".
Also, sorry for being an uncultured swine yet again, but is "(Player 1) and (Player 2) stand there crying as they helplessly capture a starving polar bear." supposed to be a reference to something? It kinda reads like one, IMO.

Also, Dave found a good save, but he needs someone else to check it just to make sure, especially since he didn't realize there are a lot of broken events that need fixing.

- BLOODBATH (alt link):
- As the horn sounded, several tributes decides to run away as fast as they can in order to survive, while others took some weapons and supplies with them. As for the others...
- Loki was confident that he would win. He is a god after all. As he began to walk away from the Cornucopia, he came across the goat mother named Toriel. "Mr. Loki?, she asked. I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I just got this Unreal Tournament invitation. Do you know what is this tournament about? I hope it is not too violent." The god simply laughed. I have no idea at all my dear. But it turns out I just got one as well! What a coincidence." "Oh my! Well, if we meet again during this tournament, we could be allies, would you agree?" "Maybe... Althought I have other buisness to attend to right now, just like you. Well if you'll excuse me, I should take my leave right now."
- Alastor watched at the chaos that was this Bloodbath. That was surely a very pleasing sight. Smiling, as always, the demon took a chair and began to drink some beers at this wonderful bloodbath.
- And indeed, right before his eyes, 2 godlikes beings, the chaotic Discord and the dangerous Providence were about to fight each other. As the godess decided to choose the dog Sunekosuri as her ally, Discord asked help from Elise de la Serre, a young templar. As the battle started, Elise immediatly took a sword and succesfully impaled Sunekosuri with it. Outraged, Providence immediatly turned her wrath on the girl. As she was about to lauch a powerful spell on her foe, Discord used this moment to transform the godess into flames, thus seizing victory from his rival. As he contemplate what was left of Providence, he told Elise that he was impressed by her skills and that he would look forward to meet her again.
- Meanwhile, Unfortunate Zorua decided to go directly in the Cornucopia. As the nominator was searching for any possible weapon, she couldn't help feel like she was being watched. Suddenly, she let out a surprised scream as she saw Infinite hiding. Irritated, the jackal said "How dare you ruining my hiding spot? Nominator or not, you will pay for that!" He then knocked out the poor Unfortunate Zorua before taking a gun and shot her in the head before fleeing.
- The Wandering Samurai could feel the Shadow Queen immense evil power. Out of option, he took a golden arrow shot it a the demon. The Shadow Queen screamed in pain but looked at the samurai... and laughed. "Mu hu hu hu hu! Foolish one. You thought you could kill me with that puny weapon but you failed miserably! In fact... Yesss... You gave me EVEN MORE POWER! BEHOLD, MY STAND, SHADOWS FALLS!" As the queen was laughing, the samurai could distinct a dark figure behind the queen as she gained a purple aura. Realising his mistake, he ran away from the queen before she had the chance to finish him off.
- The Glavenus immediatly went berserk. As the creature roared, it could see a man approaching him. It was Akuma, ready to slain the beast. Unfortunately, the beast was too fast as it ran towards the fighter. Before Akuma could react, the Glavenus crushed him, burying him under the ground. Alas, Akuma was still alive. All the injured warrior could heard was the monster's roars as he began to slowly suffocate.
- That Nidoqueen was very surpesticious. So much that she came, carrying salt inside a bottle. As she was about to ran away, she could see the killer Freddy Krueger yelling proudly. "AT LAST! I AM BACK ONCE AGAIN!" Giving the fact that he was a veteran and a crazy murderer, the pokemon immediatly ran away, while still carrying her precious bottle.
- Susan Heffley had no will to fight, for now. As she saw Alastor watching the carnage on a chair, she decided to rest as well, since no one took the pain to disturb the demon. Alas, the monstrous Devorer of Gods emerged from the ground and ate her whole. As the beast finished to eat it's foe, Alastor laughed at the infortunate Susan, calling her pathetic.
- The Forgotten was quite surprised. Giving her horrifying appearance, she thought that someone would have come to try to slain her already. She looked at the big screen on the Cornucopia and read: "Please do not kill the following tribute(s) or you will be erased from existence. The viewers at home decided to keep them safe." She was the only one on the list. A suprising event, but a welcomed one.
- It was pretty easy for the Taco League to gather supplies. After all, one of their member was litteraly a black hole. This has draw the attention of Theodd1sout's Mom and even Alma Coin herself. While the league agreed to share some of their supplies with the mom and the former soon-to-be president of Panem, they couldn't help to keep an eye on Coin as she was far from being a trustworthy personn.
- Meanwhile, the gangster Big Smile Lee tried to offer an alliance to Kano, another one. As they were about to seal that new alliance. Kano suddenly burrowed underground. Confused, Big Smile Lee didn't see the young Lucas sneaking behind him with a knife. The young boy stabbed the gangster from behind, but only scratched him. As the gangster ran away for his life, he could see Lucas eating his flesh. Lee quickly learned that you can't judge a book by it's cover.
- Commander Paylor couldn't believe it. Not only she was a tribute in these cursed games, but Coin and Snow seemed to be alive. Knowing that she had no time to waste, she took the nearest weapon to kill the nearest tribute, Celestia. However, it was only a fishing jar. Paylor only managed to knock out the princess with it. She knew she didn't have time to finish her for good so she ran away.
- The Kangaskhan looked at her baby. She was crying, seemingly because she needed to drink. Out of option, the mother took the first drink she could have and she drink it before giving it to her child. Suddenly, the two of them grew bigger and bigger. They had become giants. Happy that her baby have calm down, the Kangaskhan happily left the Cornucopia.
- How many time has he been there? As Kirby stepped out of his podium, he could only said to himself "Ah shit, here we go again..." Yep, Kirby was not happy.
- Kurumi Saiki didn't except to have to fight right now. She was facing the fighter Cammy and the dangerous Kabal. She immediatly took a gun and shot at Cammy. However, Kabal deflected the bullets with his swords, ready to impale Kurumi. As a last resort, Kurumi somehow managed to block Kabal's sword and took it for herself before stabing him with it. He only let a simple "Seriously?" before dying. Even Kurumi couldn't believe what she have done.
- Just like Alastor, Risotto Nero quietly watched the tributes killing each others, althought he was more observing them than making fun of them. As he took some ice cream, he suddenly got a brain freeze. Fortunately, some Advil were nearby so he used it to suppress the pain. As the area around the Cornucopia got empty, he simply looked coldly at Alestor before walking away from this place.
- DAY 1 (alt link):
- As Alastor woke up, he only remembered that he was about to install his camp as he was knocked out. He soon realised he was in a dark room. He could see Murai nearby, who seemed to be as confused as he was. There was a TV at the center of the room. Both of the villains could clearly see the Glavenus, chained. Above the monster, was a giant sword, ready to impale it. Suddenly Murai noticed a small piece of paper. He began to read "If you want it to be free, fight to the death, or it will die. Yours truly, the Jigsaw killer." "So... What do you think?" asked the ninja. "Let that thing die. No one will miss it." replied Alastor. "Funny, I had the same idea." replied Murai. Both of them simply waited until the sword slowly impaled the beast. As it roared one last time, the door suddenly opened freeing the villains from the Jigsaw killer's room.
- Roku, alerterd by some cries came across Mike Ribey and Kurumi Saiki. Both were desesperately hanging off a cliff and begged him to save them. Unfortunately, Roku could only save one of them. He decided to save Ribey, having heard of Kurumi previous kills during the Bloodbath. Both of them could only watch as Kurumi let go and fall to her death.
- "Why won't you work for me, Infinite?" said the Shadow Queen to the jackal. "With our powers combined and my Stand. We will conquered this land, or even more..." "Maybe... However, I should be the one in charge. After all, I am the ultim- Infinite couldn't finish as the Demon's nose suddenly appeared before "accidentaly" sneezing violently. She then blew her nose on him. Infinite was shocked and disgusted. Furious, he immediatly left the Queen who was laughing at him.
- Kano encountered a monument with several past Hunger Games champions's names graved on it. He simply spit at it before saying to himself "Welp, trust me. I'll be a champion as well. Could be also useful for buisness..."
- Even if she was in constant danger, Coin was still very careful about her body. That's why she decided to go on a diet. Meanwhile Sarafina was sleeping during the day. She dreamt that she... had a dream? That was strange...
- Toriel discovered a legendary artifact. As she was about to take it, Theodd1sout's mom suddenly pushed her asides and absorbed it. Now, filled with intense power, she walked away completely ignoring Toriel who decided to take her distances.
- As the Arena got gently covered in snow, GYOUBU digged into the snow in order to prepare his camp. Suddenly, he digged out a corpse. It was the body of Kurumi. As he simply stared at the corpse, Sarabi joined him and was saddened at this sight. She suggested that they could at least pay their respects to the fallen mother. That is why both of them released balloons in honor of Kurumi.
- Meanwhile, Lucas bravely tried the Ice Bucket Challenge, using 50 buckets. He succeeded but he was too fragile and passed out from the cold. It was still impressive for someone like him.
- To entertain her baby, the mother Kangaskhan decided to dance with a giant steel chair. Meanwhile, Manny Hafflet, having stole pills from the Cornucopia offers either a blue one or a red one to the Taco League. Following the advice of Einstien, they decided to take the blue one.
- Reznov came across the Bloodbath Diablos. As the beast prepared itself to attack, Reznov, panicking, insulted him by saying that it got no friend. Surprisingly, the creature stopped it's attack. Reznov continued to insult the beast. And it worked, the Diablos running away while crying loudly. Even Reznov couldn't believe it.
- Loki needed to leave something in this season, just in cases if he had to die right now. Fortunately for him, the Neer-Do-Wells came to him, ready to stop the evil god. Loki used nothing but his sandal to beat the 3 men to death. After his work was done, the god was more than satisfated.
- Encouraged by her first murder, the templar Elise decided to fight the monstrous Devourer of Gods. Against all odd she managed to reduce the beast to a bloody pulp. Proud of herself, she left the body without checking if the creature was definitively dead. And it wasn't, as another Devourer of Gods suddenly spawned above the corpse. The Devourer hissed at the loss of one of it's life and swore revenge against Elise.
- Dan Hibiki thought he did well, asking Big Smile Lee and Commander Paylor to join him in a game of I Spy. He truly did. Except his two partners quickly grew bored of that stupid game.
- Lord Shen was angrily shocked. "Excuse me? I thought even the princess of Equestria would have heard about my great cannons." "Unfortunately, I don't" replied Celestia. Besides, you should not use them to satisfy your bloodlust Shen." "You will regret this, Celestia..." muttered the peacock before flying away.
- "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" The Wandering Samurai have just received a punch from Risotto who were absolutely livid. "Not only arrows would not have worked on her, you basically gave her a Stand. I don't know it's abilities, but she will come after me. Stands users always drawn to each other. "How would I know?" replied the samurai. "I didn't even knew what a Stand was." "Whatever. What is done is done. The only thing I know is that you cannot be trusted. I'll spare you for now because I have other things to do... However speak to me once again, I won't hesitate finish what the Shadow Queen could not..." As he finished speaking, the assassin became invisible using his Stand before leaving the confused samurai.
- The Nidoqueen decided to be helpful. She did a voice box transplant on all of the Goosebumps gnome, with the help of Gali. Both of them looked proudly as the gnomes were enjoying their new voices.
- Freddy Krueger approached the Forgotten with a smile. "Hello there, big demon! Sorry but I will take you down here and now. Freddy is coming for you!" Both of them got into a rapid punch duel, or more like a claw duel in their cases. Unfortunately after several hits landed, both of them were exhausted. The Forgotten simply vanished away, telling Freddy that this was only a draw and that she will come back to kill him.
- Kirby was not happy. Like not happy at all. He didn't hesitate when he saw Discord. Despite the deity being reformed, the little puffball took his hammer and bashed the draconequus to death. However, not only was Discord sent to Heaven, he transformed God into a chocolate bar and succesfully conquered Heaven. Of course, Discord waited that Kirby was far from his previous body before returning, avoiding the puffbal's wrath.
- Angel Dust knew someone was looking at him. As he approached some bushes, he could clearly the giant heads of Cerberus, who didn't seek to fight. However, the demon began to violently coughs on Angel Dust and ran away. Puzzled, Angel Dust resumed his walk before feeling sick. As he got back to his camp, he learned that he had tuberculosis because of that cursed god. He began to panick, knowing that his days were numbered. he had to win this season before he died...
