Shoot. If I'm only allowed to choose from movies, this'll be tough. I guess this quote from Halloween. It's nowehere near my favorite movie, but it has the only quote I can remember off the top of my head.

Your personal favorite Young Adult novels?

While some mobile games are treated by scrutiny due to their atrocious ads and really carves for a niche audience, there are however, some good mobile games like Honkai Impact 3rd that needs more love. Another one is the likes of Witch's Heart, Noel: The Mortal Fate, Neighbors from Hell, A Witch's Tale, Ruiner, Ghost Town Adventures (another mobile game)... There's a lot.

What/who's your headcanon for Power Stroke's voice? Never mind, you answered that one on your page already.

How about this, then: do you have any predictions for what the future of MLP as a franchise will be like after Friendship is Magic ends? Think they'll reboot it again?

I think I always leaned more toward the more dance-y, house-influenced side of the scene, but I've definitely got an appreciation for the weirder side of it as well. I like the English IDM-esque stuff in that regard — some of Aphex's work is probably the most pure reflection of that for me; his sound palette is ridiculously varied, of course, but he's quite good at that softer feel when he's not cutting breaks apart. (I've also only listened to a small bit of Autechre but they have an excellent hold on that kind of thing as well.)

Tech house is where it's at, though. Boys Noize's whole vibe, folks like Gesaffelstein, the Bloody Beetroots, Siriusmo, MSTRKRFT, and this new wave of tech-inspired stuff from Fisher, Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo, Botnek, Tchami and Dombresky... mmm. I wondered whether or not folks were losing interest in the harder, dance-esque side of the American electronic scene in the face of tropical house becoming a thing (🤢) and the rise of electropop, but between tech house's big comeback, brostep making a transition into trap and riddim, and future bass's continued upward ascent I'd say we're not gonna be short of interesting electronica anytime soon.

(I also really love electro house, which is a couple steps removed from those techno roots but also has some of the same kind of appeal depending on the artist.)

I personally felt the story is more structured and interesting than the previous season, the rewards looks decent (even though I haven’t reached rank 30 and probably won’t). The zealot enemies are very annoying, especially the Heralds and the standing they give out is disappointing. I’m surprised took them long enough to add another infested Grineer mook besides the standard charger (The Undying Flyer) and If I’ll be honest, the Nightwave objectives can get a bit repetitive and boring at times.

Might make a better review of this once episode five arrives.

What do you think of the second Nightwave season so far?

...This is a bit harder than I thought. See, I've been imagining some of my OCs as video game characters thought of a hypothetical game around that premise. The problem is that I can't think of a unique "hook" — that is, something that makes this game stand out from the rest.

That aside, the game in my mind is a 3D beat em' up/Spectacle Fighter starring G (whose profile can be found in my troper page). The game will have some RPG elements, most notably in the form of a skill tree and (maybe) basic equipment crafting. You see, G got himself drugged during the prologue, so he has to recover his strength and skills over the course of the plot. The skill tree can be roughly divided into three:

• Commando: Focuses on the interplay between close and long-ranged combat, as well as misdirection. G becomes much more proficient with his weapons, gaining tremendous damage and critical chance bonuses, which is even higher when he strikes unaware enemies. Also contains buffs to his support equipment (i.e. smoke grenades cover a larger area, flashbangs stun longer) and mobility. To compensate, he has the least amount of health when specializing in this tree.
• Pesilat: The Martial Arts tree. G deepens his mastery of Silat, which makes his unarmed attacks extremely deadly. With the correct skills, he potentially can shred armor, apply multiple status effects, and paralyze nearby enemies in fear, all with a single strike. It also makes his parries and blocks more effective. The problem is that this tree gives no bonuses whatsoever to his ranged game, so he needs to stay close with enemies for maximum effectiveness.
• Mayhem: Hearkening back to the role he was supposed to assume: a heavy weapons specialist, G specializes in raw, overwhelming firepower. This translates into buffs for his guns and grenades, and eventually let him haul around crew-served weapons by himself. That doesn't mean he's completely helpless at melee; after all, getting clobbered by a 20 kg machine gun hurts like hell. Also has the most health increases compared to other trees.

Enemies include lowly thugs in soccer shirts, professional mercenaries, special forces operatives, Magitek Super Soldiers, gunslinging wizards, still-living fragments of ancient heroes, extradimensional warlords, and the likes.

I'm thinking of adding extra characters, too, including Awan and Avelyn I mentioned in my troper page. They will have their own moves and skill trees to facilitate different playstyles, just like G.
