Meet the Tropers: newbie thread/introductions.

Hi! I'm K 2 Sonic Fan. I'm too lazy to write a dramatic introduction. xD I'm 21 and been here since around fall 2016, and never really checked the forums until recently when I found it in a search for something else on the site.

Hai!My name is Ruby Red Rose but you guys can call me Ruby or Rose. I got into TV Tropes from a friend and I now get on it alot. I'm a starting writer, writing fan fiction (for now) until I can build up my writing skills to make more meaningful things.

I love alot of things. My favorite anime would have to be Sailor Moon, my favorite game would have to be Kingdom Hearts or Life is Strange. Favorite cartoon would be Gravity Falls. I LOVE the color pink, and like the color red. Hence my name. And that's just the basics!

Hello whoever actually takes the time to read these sort of things. I've been browsing TV tropes for a long time, but only recently gotten around to making a profile. My name is Aaymeirah, but you can call me Aay. If I had to pick three tropes to describe me, they'd be; Badass Bookworm, The Jester and Deadpan Snarker. I spend my free time reading Fantasy novels I probably shouldn't be reading, writing stories that seem to get dark quite quickly and desperately trying to fix the hurt feelings and troubles my quick and too-blunt tongue gets me into. I love jokes that demonstrate some intelligence, and am as quick to laugh at myself as others, which is probably the only thing keeping me from life-long detention. Despite my faults, I'm incredibly loyal to those who can bear to stand more than an hour in my presence and will not hesitate to sacrifice myself to save the world.

I got into TV Tropes few years ago. It is a great source of entertainment and inspiration for me. I aspire to become a great writer. I want to put my imagination and interest in various comic books and video games into good use. I'm planning to write a book. I hope you could help me achieve this goal.

My interests include: listening to music (Queen and Iron Maiden are among my favorites), playing video games, watching police dramas (CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds), watching anime or reading manga (Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure, Fullmetal Alchemist, My Hero Academia) and so on. I hope we can get along

Hi. I'm He Supplanted 15. I'm not technically new here - I've been a troper for about three years, but I lost my first account a year ago and had to start over. My contributions so far have been minimal, but I hope to change that. I'm new to the forums, however. I'm a prospective writer (like so many people here), an Aspie (ditto), a young nerd (rule of three). I think TV Tropes has greatly improved both my understanding and enjoyment of fiction and my ability to create it. And it's recommended a lot of good stuff to me (particularly anime and webcomics - neither of which I was into before I came here). I like books, anime, movies, science, generally nerdy stuff. Alright, I'm Pisthetairos. I'm not exactly a newbie, more like a prodigal son, since it's been almost 12 years since I stopped contributing to the site. They say it's like riding a bike, but I feel like I'm learning the ropes anew.

(Though to be honest I've always thought that bike thing was b.s. too)

A bit about myself: a gadfly and long-time lurker, I have a passion for everything Heavy Mithril and After the End, mixed with my love for Cool Guns and stories involving warfare, political intrigue, assassinations, bank heists (Heat is one of my all-time favorite crime dramas), Cool Planes, car chases, hardboiled detectives, Tank Goodness, Cosmic Horror Stories, Femme Fatales donning Zettai Ryouki, and the Stylistic Suck of grindhouse cinema. If it's sleazy, involves Gas Mask Mooks with M16s, and a grizzled chain-smoking .38-wielding detective probing the modus operandi of a Humanoid Abomination Serial Killer, I'm into it. My favorite band is probably either Megadeth or Clutch, my favorite movie is The Matrix, my favorite book is either Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy or Blind Side by William Bayer, my favorite video game is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and I love a good Conspiracy Theory. I might come off as a Crazy Survivalist but ultimately I'm a Jerk with a Heart of Gold who has Hidden Depths.

Hello I am The Legend of Snake 369 (the 69 wasn't intentional i swear!) i live in the dairy lands of wisconsin, i just read about video games and play video games. I love Platformers, RPG's, Action, Hack n' Slash,Stealth,Metroidvania,Single player games in general, pretty much anything that isn't sports,racing, and online shooter games (Co D,Fortnite etc,) I'm thinking about getting into anime (don't know where to start) or either that re-watching some story driven western animation from my youth (Danny Phantom, Teen Titans Etc.) So yeah, I just read and stuff. Hope everyone can accept me here (unlike that gosh-darn "Real World"......)
