Iron Violet: The Shy Titan
is a superhero/manga-styled webcomic. It is written and colored by Skyler Ammons. The artist for Chapter 1 was Kayleigh Lebak. The the current artist as of Issue 2 is Francis Julian Lim.Yuri Hasagashi has always been a shy girl. She's never been quite brave, and has little to no confidence in herself...despite the fact she can bench press a tank and bounce bullets off of her chest. After the recent explosion of supervillain crime in the once peaceful Oklahoma — and a little nudging from her best friend Kat — the timid would-be heroine must step up to defend her city and her state as Iron Violet, Oklahoma's first superhero! Now if only she could stop panicking and breathe for a moment...

Iron Violet: The Shy Titan contains examples of:
- Abusive Parents: It is implied that this is the reason behind Yuri's severe self-doubt and shrinking violet nature.
- Animesque: Starting from the second issue onwards, it featured many typical anime-styled art tropes, like face faults and chibis. The huge detailed eyes is also massively anime.
- Art Shift: Skyler has trouble holding onto a permanent artist, and the art style has thus shifted several times. The interludes between chapters are also different art styles.
- Atrocious Alias: Rock Hard. Everyone But him,thinks it's a bad name.
- Badass Normal: Scissortail, a Batman style heroine who uses her physical skills and gadgets to fight crime.
- Bruiser with a Soft Center: Kat is a fierce brawler who isn't afraid to give creeps who bug her or Yuri a beat down, but she's also shown a gentler, sweeter side, tenderly comforting Yuri when she's feeling unsure of herself.
- Clark Kenting: Yuri can change her hair and eye color to violet to make it harder to recognize her.
- Clothing Damage: Violet suffered a very embarrassing instance of this in her first outing as Iron Violet.
- Color Character: Iron Violet.
- Curbstomp Battle: Despite Spike Trap's cockiness, he never even stood a chance against Iron Violet.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Yuri seems to have suffered under a father that was at least emotionally abusive, and although she herself wasn't harmed, it seems that the Mad Scientist who experimented on her without her knowledge (and thus apparently giving her her powers) either killed or abducted (and faked the deaths of) several of the friends she made during the child psych study he used as a cover.
- Dishing Out Dirt: The criminal Rock Hard has D-Gene powers over rock and earth, though currently he's only shown the ability to create a form of rock armor around his body.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Cyber commando in the third panel.
- Emotionless Girl: Subverted with Zero-Girl, she does have feelings of her own, her body just can't express them.
- Famed In-Story: Captain Dynamic, AKA the first superhero. In fact, individuals with genetic powers are called "Dynamics".
- Fantastic Racism: A SWAT cop Violet talks to implies that the mayor of Rogers City has a hatred of Dynamics.
- Flying Brick: Iron Violet's powers are superhuman strength, invulnerability, flight and enhanced agility.
- Hero of Another Story: The interludes introduce other, non Oklahoma heroes, like Phantom Cross and Titania, who the author hints might appear in future chapters.
- Lawful Pushover: Violet is this at first. The whole story revolves around her gradual growth of a spine.
- Mad Scientist: If the shrieking animalistic noises of his "Children" are any sign, the mysterious Professor at the end of Issue 1 is this.
- Meta Origin: D-Gene humans or "Dynamics" seem to be shaping up to be this.
- Muggle Best Friend: Kat is this to Iron Violet. Although she has no powers she has shown herself capable of defending herself in a fight.
- Muscles Are Meaningless: Iron Violet is a lithe young woman with vast superhuman strength. She can even damage a metal that only a handful of supers, including the original, were able to damage with their strength.
- Rei Ayanami Expy: Alexia Plume, Scissortail's implied Secret Identity, looks a lot like the NERV girl, though she's more abrasive.
- Robot Girl: Zero-Girl fits this trope to a T.
- Secret Identity: Standard for a superhero universe.
- Starter Villain: Spike Trap builds himself up as a sadistic and dangerous foe. Violet defeats him in less than two punches.
