Flappy Dragon is a 2021 game by Coré Ventura. It was released on Google Play and on the Apple Store. Its gameplay is greatly inspired of Flappy Bird but with dragons, hence the name.
Flappy Dragon contains the following tropes:
- Abstract Eater: Ohamuyrex eats lifespans. X-GL0T0N eats consciousness. Compared to these two, X-N3B8LA eating stars seems almost pedestrian.
- An Ice Person: A Snowflake powerup that slows your dragon down, allowing for better controls
- Ascended Meme: Donuts began their life as a community meme on Flappy Dragon Discord. Soon they gave rise to Stellar Donuts.
- Body Horror: Parasgula is a host to some kind of a parasite which leaves their body to look almost decaying. Yoggorogosa IS decaying. Oad Oat is being overtaken by a mushroom which grows out of its back. X-FR4CTUR3's body is, as its name implies, fractured (but, at least, they don't seem to be bothered by that). Yoggorogosa is undying, so his thorax seems empty, and Cenizvesa's body is ashes. Dullahan's head is ripped off his neck and floats around. Spanturo has a circular saw in his thorax. Gul Grirca's thoracis cage is wide open just like Yoggorogosa. Inside Vetrece's mouth there is a chainsaw covered in "ketchup". Addiustein is a Frankenstein's monster.
- Bullet Time: Sands of Time powerup which slows down everything.
- Cain and Abel: Xen Lu and Yon Lu are brothers who can grant wishes. While Xen Lu is a helpful Benevolent Genie, Yon Lu is a Jackass Genie who grants wishes in a way to screw over the wishmaker.

- Elemental Powers: Powerups and abilities have the following elemental powers
- Funny Animal: The aristocrats, being mouse people, fish people, bird people, lizard people and more.
- Gone Horribly Right: Y-M4K0 is a cyborg that's been created to be a living weapon. It tested its powers by wiping off its creators first and going on a rampage after
- Macross Missile Massacre: Maxed-out Y-M4K0 shoots a missile with each flap.
- Magma Man: Volcanova, born in a volcano and able to start breathing fire randomly when flapping
- Make Me Wanna Shout: Called "a monstrous roar", the power is able to shatter towers around the dragon. Notably, that power can only be an ablity, there are no powerups for it.
- Mascots Love Sugar: Flappy's love for donuts is in his description
- Non-Indicative Name: Malevol. They have a powerful ramming attack but nothing in their lore suggests them to actually be malevolent.
- One-Hit-Point Wonder: Everyone in the game. Your dragon dies in one hit (provided they haven't picked up Heart powerup which serves as an extra hitpoint), Aristocrats die in one hit and, with right powerup or a special ability, the towers get destroyed also in one hit. Averted for Ocrato and Stariposa who, when maxed, have a 75% and 50% chance to survive their death. Averted too with the Heart power-up.
- Orbiting Particle Shield: Cosmic Stars powerup. X-0RB can generate their own shield by spinning and yes, it's possible to use it after having activated Cosmic Starts powerup.
- Our Dragons Are Different: It's a given in a game about dragons but several dragons still stand out: Kirnyan (a flying unicorn), Bacelotte (a whale), X-FR4CTUR3 (a bundle of sticks and some goo roughly in a dragon shape), Kankano (a kangaroo with wings), all the butterfly-inspired dragons...
- Oxymoronic Being: Frizolis, being able to activate either an ice or a fire powerup at random
- Playing with Fire: A powerup in the game lets your dragon breathe fire for a time being. It's pretty handy for clearing the towers in front of you
- Poisonous Person: A toxic cloud that kills all on-screen aristocrats. Like Monstrous Roar, there's no powerup for it, it's ability-only.
- Rare Candy: Stellar Donuts which instantly level up a dragon
- Shock and Awe: A Lightning cloud powerup that basically makes your dragon invincible and extra fast. Oh, and it creates an explosion at the end of its duration that wipes out everything on screen.

- The Pipeland world is a shoutout to the Super Mario franchise, with its carnivorous plants, mushrooms, his round hills and obviously its pipes

- Spectacular Spinning: X-0RB generates their particle shield by spinning
- Sweet Tooth: Every dragon here craves for donuts
- Unconventional Food Usage: R-D0N8T's vehicle is a giant donut.
