After being scolded by Mandilok due to their recent failure to defeat the Rangers without their Zords. Toxica is determined to redeem herself to her master by kidnapping Princess Shayla with Jindrax and a new ninja Duke Org named Onikage, however this leads her to a dangerous move by cutting her own horn.

- Bad Boss: Toxica is blasted by Mandilok after accidentally ruining Onikage's plan to kidnap Princess Shayla in the Animarium. And he later uses the former as a shield to protect himself from the Jungle Blaster.
- Big Damn Heroes: During the Zord fight, Merrick stays on the ground and finds something is off. He realizes Onikage didn't grow and is just casting an impervious illusion from a hiding spot. As the Isis Megazord gets pummeled, Merrick finds where Onikage is hiding and blasts him, thus saving the other Rangers at the last moment. Also earlier, during the fight between the other Rangers and 5 illusion Orgs, he finds Onikage hiding and blasts him, destroying the illusions .
- Big "NO!": Merrick when Onikage drills underground. Also Toxica when she realizes she had been tricked into cutting her horn.
- Big "WHAT?!": Toxica gives one when Mandilok reveals that her broken Org horn won't grow back.
- Bulletproof Human Shield: Mandilok uses Toxica as one to save himself from the Rangers' Jungle Blaster. He's back a scene or two later, though.

- Disappears into Light: This is what happens to Toxica after being hit by the Jungle Blaster.
- Eaten Alive: Played with as Jindrax was initially reluctant to infiltrate the Animarium due to fear to being discovered by the Wild Zords, which in his own words would "slice and dice" anyone who goes to that place.
- Electric Torture: The Sacred Water is revealed to having the ability to electrocute any Org or evil heart who falls into it. Toxica finds out the hard way.Princess Shayla: No evil heart can survive the Sacred Water!.
- Everyone Has Standards: The Rangers were already set to clean house for kidnapping Princess Shayla, they're vocally appalled when Mandilok and Onikage backstab their own allies to do so.
- Flung Clothing: Toxica does this to change from her ninja outfit to her usual one after surviving the Sacred Water.
- Foreshadowing: During the battle, Onikage makes clear he has no qualms making his own side collateral damage when attacking the Rangers. Given this disgusts even the Rangers themselves, it's a warning sign that Onikage is no Noble Demon, and Toxica has made a terrible mistake trusting him.
- Forgot About His Powers: When the Rangers are alerted by Princess Shayla about an Org in the Animarium, they rush back on foot instead of using their Savage Cycles.
- Gone Horribly Right: Onikage tricked Toxica into cutting off her horn, saying it would protect her from being electrocuted by the Sacred Water. And while it did protect her, it also weakened to the point of being near-death.
- I Lied: Toxica allowed her horn to be cut off because Onikage assured her that it'll grow back. When she's near death because of it, she looks to Onikage who pretends he doesn't know what she's talking about.
- Ironic Echo: "Merrick, you came to protect me."
- Just Following Orders: Princess Shayla accuses Toxica of this when the latter reveals she has no idea why Mandilok wants to kidnap her.
- Ninja: In this episode Toxica, Jindrax and the Putrids dress in ninja outfits.
- Kick the Dog: After using Toxica to shield himself from the Jungle Blaster, Mandilok remarks he's finally found a good use for her.
- Make My Monster Grow: Subverted. It appears as if Onikage can do this without Toxica's magic, but it's just another illusion.
- Pajama-Clad Hero: The Rangers confront Onikage, Jindrax and Toxica in their pajamas when the Duke Orgs are discovered in the Animarium at night and Cole saves Princess Shayla when the former tries to kidnap her.Onikage: So these are the famous Power Rangers, interesting outfits.
- Pet the Dog: After Toxica is scolded by a furious Mandilok for accidentally ruining Onikage's plan to kidnap the Princess, Jindrax tries to comfort his friend telling her that anyone could have made the mistake of touching the Sacred Water .
- Properly Paranoid: When onikage offers to help Jindrax and Toxica to get back in Mandilok's good graces by kidnapping the Princess, both Duke Orgs are mistrustful at first of him. And later they pay the price.
- Teddy Bear: Danny is revealed to have one and Jindrax briefly teases him about it.
- The Scapegoat: The episode opens with Mandilok lashing out at Jindrax and Toxica for their last defeat. He says they failed to take full advantage of the Rangers being without their Zords, not caring one bit about Jindrax and Toxica pointing out Animus intervened.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Jindrax after Onikage fires into the melee to take down the Rangers, harming Jindrax and his own Mooks in the process.
- Smoke Out: Onikage does this to get himself, Jindrax and Toxica out of the Animarium after their first failed kidnapping attempt of Princess Shayla.
- So Much for Stealth: While Onikage, Jindrax and Toxica infiltrate the Animarium in search of Princess Shayla, Toxica notices the Sacred Water glowing and touches it, which electrocutate her and her screams of pain wake the Rangers up, revealing the Org's presence.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: When Mandilok doesn't care about Toxica being severely weakened due to her horn loss, a disgusted Princess Shayla (despite being their captive) gives one to Mandilok. Not that he cares too much.:Princess Shayla: I can't believe you could be so heartless to use your own friends like that!.
- The Reveal:
- This episode was the first time the Rangers' sleeping quarters are shown.
- Also this was the first time where Princess Shayla was seen inside the viewing pond.
- To Be Continued: Shayla is a prisoner of the Orgs, and the Rangers have no idea where to start looking for her.
- Using You All Along: During their fight, Princess Shayla tries to tell Toxica that Mandilok and Onikage are just using her, but she refuses to listen. And it turns Shayla was right as later Toxica finds out from Mandilok and Onikage after she's weakened by the loss of her horn.
- Wham Shot: "Merrick" still being on the Animarium, despite Shayla seeing him fight alongside the other Rangers.
- Villain Has a Point: After Mandilok lashes out at Toxica for ruining Onikage's infiltration of the Animarium, the latter begins to suspect that Mandilok hates her. Fast-forward a couple of scenes later where Mandilok not only outright states that he does hate Toxica, but he also shows it by using her as a meat shield against the Rangers.
- Voluntary Shapeshifting: Toxica disguised herself as Merrick to lure Princess Shayla out of the Sacred Water.
- "You!" Exclamation: Shayla to Toxica, after she reveals herself to be impersonating Merrick.
