Reaching Zora's Domain
Link ventures to take down his first Divine Beast. He traverses the treacherous road leading to Zora's Domain, guided by a strange energetic prince, and he finally meets his daughter.

- Action Girl:
- Before Link sees Lochlia, he hears from Torfeau that she's clearing the road heading to Zora's Domain. Link gets to see this for himself when he sees her fighting monsters.
- Cerako is technically genderless but is referred to with female pronouns, and she's more than capable of kicking some ass, using her own weapons and the runes to fight.
- Ask a Stupid Question...: Played for Laughs. Torfeau asks Link if he's a Hylian, and Link responds by sarcastically quipping that he's a parasite puppeteering a poor Hylian's body. Even Torfeau gets in on it with a dramatic "oh no" reaction.
- Charged Attack: Link uses the Jump Strike to take out an entire camp of Lizalfos at once.
- Description Porn: There are multiple paragraphs about Lochlia. Her physical description, her combat prowess, her weapon, and her powers are given incredibly detailed descriptions.
- Establishing Character Moment: Sidon introduces himself to Link by jumping down and giving him a huge smile that makes it painfully clear to Link that he's a sweet guy.
- Forgotten First Meeting: As Link is still suffering amnesia, many of the Zora who recognize him are saddened to see that he doesn't recognize them.
- Iaijutsu Practitioner: Link uses the Mortal Draw for the first time to kill a Lizalfos.
- Iconic Attribute Adoption Moment: Link finally gains his own green tunic that all his predecessors were wearing, though he declines to wear it in favor of wearing his Champions' Tunic.
- Making a Splash: Lochlia has control over water with her spear.
- Misplaced Retribution: The elder Zora blame Hylians and Link specifically for Lady Mipha's death, but the younger ones call it out for being misplaced as she chose to be Champion.
- The Noseless: The narration mentions that the last Sheikah Monk has no nose, and describes this as being no different than any other Sheikah Monk.
- Robot Buddy: Cerako adopts this role, accompanying Link to Zora's Domain and acting as his support.
- Spectacular Spinning: Link uses the Great Spin to take out a bunch of Silver Moblins
- Supernaturally Young Parent: Grandparent actually. Sidon mentions this his niece has children, meaning Link is a grandfather while he's still only physically 34 years old.

- Understatement: Sidon correctly says that Link is a strong Hylian warrior. Link proves how much of an understatement that it when he grabs a rock and smashes it like glass.
