Basic Trope: A female witch character is portrayed as very attractive.

  • Straight: Witch Alice is strikingly beautiful, gifted with impressive proportions and wearing a much more revealing or seductive version of the classic witch outfit.
  • Exaggerated:
  • Downplayed: Witch Alice is certainly attractive, but she dresses modestly and doesn't flaunt her beauty.
  • Justified:
    • In this world, a witch's power is enhanced by her attractiveness, so Witch Alice maintains her sexy looks to keep her magic strong.
    • The sexy witch appearance is an illusion that Witch Alice keeps up to make men more pliable. No one knows what she actually looks like.
    • Witch Alice's mixed fae ancestry keeps her supernaturally beautiful, regardless of her age.
  • Inverted: Witch Alice's magic has wizened her appearance over the years, turning her hideous over time.
  • Gender-Inverted: Warlock Bob is a stud with six-pack abs.
  • Subverted:
  • Double Subverted:
  • Parodied: Witch Alice's familiar warns the party that Alice is the hottest witch they will ever meet, so hot that they may very well be burned. The party says they still need her wisdom, so her familiar leads them into her chamber. She turns out to be a fire elemental.
  • Zig-Zagged: Some of the witches are stunningly beautiful, but some of them look more plain, and others are outright unattractive.
  • Averted: None of the witch characters are especially beautiful.
  • Enforced: ""We need more fanservice for our fantasy world. Hey, how about a sexy witch?"
  • Lampshaded: "Wow, that's a sexy outfit for a witch. Er, I mean, Oh Great and Powerful Witch, I ask for your aid..."
  • Invoked: Fighter Bob tells Witch Alice to use magic to make herself look more attractive, so they can more easily talk their way past guards. Witch Alice admits he has a point, and casts the spell.
  • Exploited:
  • Defied: Fighter Bob asks the elderly Witch Alice why she doesn't just use illusion magic to look young and sexy all the time. Witch Alice replies that she finally got to an age where it stopped mattering.
  • Discussed: "Witch Alice is coming! Quick, boys, don't miss your chance to look!"
  • Conversed: "Alice is like a sexy witch, now." "It's a fantasy world, of course she's a sexy witch."
  • Implied: Fighter Bob tells the rest of the party about an encounter he had with Witch Alice. She was powerful, and clever, and had really big, uh... "charms."
  • Deconstructed:
    • Witch Alice is so supernaturally beautiful that every male party member ends up developing feelings for her (or at the least, lusts after her).
    • Other magic users sneer at Witch Alice. Surely one so concerned with their looks could never be equally skilled in magic.
  • Reconstructed:
    • Witch Alice is flattered by all the male party members' attentions, and while she neither has the time nor the inclination to seriously date them all, she lets them know that she can certainly help them with the other side of their cravings, so long as they don't mind sharing. The men decide they can live with that.
    • Witch Alice defeats any magical challengers, with little difficulty.
  • Played for Laughs:
  • Played for Drama:
    • Witch Alice catches the eye of an evil wizard, who wants her beauty for himself.
    • Witch Alice has a hard time making female friends, as they're often intimidated by or jealous of her attractiveness.
