Thirteen Overtakers who joined over the course of the main trilogy who were later revealed in Now Go With A Curse to have been chosen by Maleficent as part of a contingency to ensure that the Overtakers would have proper leadership in the event that the Inner Circle ever suffers a Total Party Kill.

Each is listed in order of their first appearance in the series.

Because some characters are not introduced until later installments, all spoilers up through All the Forces of Evil will be unmarked.

     Amora the Enchantress 

From: Marvel Ultimate Alliance

An Asgardian sorceress and a former member of Loki and Doom's Masters of Evil

     Steve Newlin 

From: True Blood


  • Daywalking Vampire: Doom provided him with the ability to generate fairy magic within himself, thus allowing Steve to walk during daylight.
  • Sinister Minister: Sets himself up as one in Radiant Garden during the first story.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: Cultivates this in Quite a Glittering Assemblage and Villains Of A Sort.
     Blackheart 

From: Ghost Rider / Marvel Ultimate Alliance

The demon son of Mephisto and prince of Hell. He joins the Overtakers against his father and becomes ruler of Hell following Mephisto's death in Villains of A Sort.
     Cruella De Vil 

From: Once Upon a Time / 101 Dalmatians (1996)

A woman obsessed with fur and fashion who hails from a world inspired by 1920s England. She becomes
  • The Beastmaster: Her primary source of power in the main trilogy.
  • Cruella to Animals: Takes great joy in making clothing out of animals.
  • Doppelmerger: The two different incarnations of Cruella merge into a single person in Every Villain Assembled Narrates.
  • High on Homicide: Even when she's not able to kill people herself, she gets this reaction from watching her fellow Overtakers commit murders.
  • Replacement Goldfish: Her Once Upon A Time incarnation
  • Split-Personality Merge: The two versions of Cruella merge during her chapter of Every Villain Assembled Narrates.
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill: Enforced with her Once Upon A Time incarnation, as the actions of the Author have rendered her physically incapable of killing living beings, no matter how much she wants to.
     Winifred Sanderson 

From: Hocus Pocus

The eldest of three witch sisters resurrected by Blackheart after he aided Maleficent and Doom in rescuing Hades and Loki from Hell. She briefly leaves the group in the final chapters of Villains of a Sort following her death at the hands of Davy Jones and subsequent self-resurrection, but is eventually forced back into the ranks during All the Forces of Evil.
  • Interspecies Romance: With Davy Jones following his second resurrection in his cursed, tentacled form.
     Sarah Sanderson 

From: Hocus Pocus

The youngest of three witch sisters resurrected by Blackheart after he aided Maleficent and Doom in rescuing Hades and Loki from Hell.
  • Hidden Depths: While generally a ditz like in her original movie, she immediately recognized Loki's Judgement of Paris gambit in Villains of a Sort because it was her favorite bedtime story as a child.
  • Really Gets Around: Every Villain Assembled Narrates reveals that Sarah has had multiple different partners among the Overtakers and Undertakers besides Blackheart, including Daken, Warp, Frollo, Solomon Grundy, Memnon, Claude, and at least one Heartless.
  • Robosexual: Attempts to sleep with NOS-4-A2 in Every Villain Assembled Narrates..
     Mary Sanderson 

From: Hocus Pocus

The middle of three witch sisters resurrected by Blackheart after he aided Maleficent and Doom in rescuing Hades and Loki from Hell.
     Ardyn Izunia 

From: Final Fantasy XV

The brother of the founding king of Lucis on Eos, whose efforts to heal people from the Starscourge by taking the disease into himself led to him being corrupted and subsequently ostracized.
  • Ascended Extra: Only had a brief appearance for a single chapter in the first fic before becoming a recurring character and full member of the Overtakers in the sequels.
  • Family of Choice: Comes to see Hades and Loki as the brothers he always wanted
  • Friends with Benefits: Develops this relationship with Blackheart in Villains of A Sort.
  • The Mentor: Fills this role for Vanitas in All the Forces of Evil.

A teenage boy from a world where toys come to life, and one of the only humans in his world to be aware of that secret. The Overtakers recruit
  • Closet Key: Serves as this for Kieran
  • Gaining the Will to Kill: Has reservations about killing when he first joins the Overtakers, but quickly gets over them with the help of the Venom symbiote.
  • Self-Made Orphan: Kills his father in Every Villain Assembled Narrates.
     Dark Riku 

From: Kingdom Hearts

A Replica of Riku created during Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, who longs to distinguish himself from the original.
  • Back from the Dead: Resurrected by Vexen following his death in ''Chain of Memories.
  • Clone Angst: Has some lingering angst over his origins from his appearances in the games.
     Caleb Covington 

From: Julie and the Phantoms

A Ghost magician and founder of the Hollywood Ghost Club. Hades recruits him into the Overtakers to stop the Sorceror's Society from haunting the Eminence Place from the Netherworld in All the Forces of Evil
  • Grand Theft Me: As a ghost, he can take control of the bodies of the living.
