Main Characters

The Forger Family

The main cast of the story, a Found Family who keeps its fair share of secrets. They recently bought a car that carries more secrets than the rest of them combined.
     In General
  • Badass Family: A super spy father/husband, an inhumanly strong assassin mother/wife, a psychic daughter, a seer dog, and an alien robot soldier as their car. Suffice to say, they're unquestioningly this.
  • Family of Choice: All of them, even Bumblebee, come to view each other as a loving family.
  • Living a Double Life: Exaggerated in that every member of this family has a secret life which only Anya, being a telepath, knows about.
     Anya

Anya Forger

The adoptive daughter of the Forger family and a former lab rat known as Subject 007.
  • Secret Secret-Keeper: She already knew about her father and mother's secrets due to her telepathy, but she's also aware of Bumblebee's existence as well and helps keep him hidden.
     Bumblebee

Bumblebee, AKA: B-127

An Autobot scout sent to Earth by his leader, Optimus Prime, to establish a base. However, circumstances lead to him getting purchased by the Forger family while in vehicular mode, hampering his mission. Despite this, he grows to learn that his new lot in life isn't so bad.
  • Appropriated Appellation: A kind example. Anya gave him the nickname "Bumblebee" both because his vehicular appearance was reminiscent of bees and because she felt he deserved a name to go by, not a letter with a series of numbers. Ultimately, he comes to appreciate it and takes the name as his own.
B-127 (thoughts): Huh, it actually has a nice ring to it.
  • Composite Character: He's physically based off his version from the Bumblebee film, but by the time he arrives on Earth, he'd long since lost his voice box already like in Transformers Prime and lacks amnesia. He also has the black stripe of his Animated counterpart and, before the war, was a courier like his IDW comics version.
  • Fish out of Water: Played for Laughs. Being an alien from another planet, he has no understanding of human customs whatsoever, and it leads to him seeing the absurd antics that the Forgers get up to as completely normal for the average Earth family.
     Loid

Loid Forger, AKA: Twilight

The top spy of WISE, operating under the codename, Twilight. For his primary mission in Ostania, he's taken up the identity of Loid Forger, acquiring a wife, daughter, pet, and most recently, a new car that's more than it appears.
  • Papa Wolf: Even though he (initially) adopted Anya for the purposes of completing Operation STRIX, his protectiveness towards her is 100% genuine. In Mission 5, her sneaking out to bring Bumblebee back sends him into a panic, as he believed her to have been kidnapped. He's more than prepared to search through the entire city to rescue her, though luckily, he didn't have to.
     Yor

Yor Forger (nee Briar), AKA Thorn Princess

One of the deadliest, most feared assassins on Earth, operating under the codename of Thorn Princess. She enters a marriage with Loid and becomes Anya's mother to avoid the risk of her cover being blown by the SSS.
  • Drives Like Crazy: Yor goes beyond bad and into dangerous when behind the wheel, with Chloe stating that it’s a miracle no-one died during her first driving lesson.
  • Hypocrite: Despite the fact that she tries to teach her brother and adoptive daughter to be honest and avoid confrontations respectively, her entire life as an assassin revolves around both of those things. Doubles as a Hypocrisy Nod, as she's painfully aware of this, further contributing to her low self-esteem.
  • Mama Bear: She's fiercely protective of her daughter. When she went missing in Mission 5, she was more than prepared to tear through the entire criminal underworld of Berlint in order to find her.
  • Super-Strength: She frequently shows immense strength far beyond what any human should possibly possess. Besides rather easily lifting cars like paperweights, she's also strong enough to accidentally hurt Bumblebee when hugging him. Keep in mind, Bumblebee's comprised of metals far more durable than anything on Earth. He even notes that her strength is comparable to Cybertronians.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Even though their marriage is a front, she's this for Loid. In Mission 8, when he was about to be arrested by the cops, she almost killed them then and there. Also helps that her feelings for Loid are progressively becoming more and more genuine as their cover continues.
     Bond

Bond

The Forger family's pet dog, who just so happens to have the power to see the future as a result of being a former lab experiment.

WISE

     In General
     Handler

Sylvia Sherwood, AKA Handler

  • Shipper on Deck: Downplayed. She's well aware that Twilight/Loid's feelings for Yor are growing beyond considering her as a means of completing Operation STRIX. While she has some reservations on how this could affect his performance, she ultimately allows it, as his ability to accomplish tasks hasn't been compromised and the mission is still progressing. Even though the Forger family is temporary, she's still glad her best agent is starting to find happiness with someone, as such a thing is a rarity for spies.
     Franky

Franky Franklin

  • Cool Uncle: Alongside Honorary Uncle, he's this to Anya, who immensely enjoys spending time with him, far more so than her maternal uncle. For his part, he's nothing but sweet and doting to her.

SSS

     In General
     Yuri

Yuri Briar

Yor's younger brother and, unknown to her, a member of the State Security Service.
  • Big Brother Worship: He thinks the world of his sister, though his interests seem to lead toward the romantic. It's deconstructed in Mission 8, as Chloe calls him out on how his feelings for Yor are not only creepy, but blind him to her real flaws (the specific example being her terrible driving skills), as well as how he abuses his position for her sake (he'd just used his Secret Police credentials to get her off the hook for all the traffic violations she committed), something Yuri really doesn't want to admit.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He's a member of the SSS and as such is an antagonist, but he refuses to allow someone to be arrested for something he knows they didn't do, even if that person is someone he absolutely hates. When Loid attempted to take the heat for Yor's horrible driving and the many traffic laws she broke, Yuri discreetly used his SSS credentials to get the cops to leave them alone.
  • Made of Iron: Thanks to having been on the receiving end of Yor's Super-Strength since childhood, he's developed a level of durability that no other human should possess, often to the point of shrugging off things that'd probably kill anyone else. One of the bigger indicators of this is how he can withstand Yor hugging him with all her might and walking away with a few broken bones (that he easily cracks back into place). Keep in mind, Yor's hugs can accidentally rend Cybertronian alloy.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Ironically, despite his efforts to stop Twilight, saving Loid from arrest during Mission 8 ends up saving Twilight's entire mission in Ostania.
     Chloe

Chloe

One of Yuri's former classmates and another member of the SSS.

The Autobot Resistance

     In General
  • How the Mighty Have Fallen: According to Jetfire in Chapter 2 of Camien Odyssey, they weren't always a resistance movement and once had access to mighty armies. But they've fallen far behind their enemies and are left scattered across the cosmos.
     Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime

Formerly known as Orion Pax, an archivist from Iacon, Optimus Prime has since risen to the sacred mantle of Prime, the traditional ruler of Cybertron, and now leads the Autobot Resistance in their war against the Decepticon Empire. With his forces scattered across the galaxy after having been driven off of Cybertron, Optimus must find a new home for the Autobots to recover and regroup. To that end, he has sent a young scout, B-127, to a distant world to begin building a base for them: Earth.
  • Big Good: Serves as this for the Autobots, as their leader and the contemporary Prime: the traditional head of state for Cybertron.
  • The Leader: Serves as this for the Autobots.
  • The Ghost: Has yet to be seen in either the main story of MTMTS or Camien Odyssey due to being busy gathering the surviving Autobots across the galaxy.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Optimus and Megatron were once as close as brothers, with the two of them exchanging knowledge to help them change Cybertron for the better. Unfortunately, it didn't last.

Crew of the Alpha-5

     In General
     Elita- 1

Elita-1/Ariel

The second-in-command of the Autobots and the leader of the Alpha-5.
  • Adaptational Job Change: While normally high ranked in other Transformers continuities (even serving as Optimus' Number Two in some), she officially has the rank of his second-in-command. By contrast, that's usually a position occupied by Ultra Magnus, who's lower in rank than her here.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Alongside Optimus, she was also close friends with Megatron. Word of God even states that Megatron helped her and Optimus get together. These days, however, she's bitter enemies with Megatron, and her POV sections refer to him as "her former friend".
     Ultra Magnus

Ultra Magnus

  • The Comically Serious: His perpetual, no-nonsense, strict adherence to military protocol in all situations makes for some entertaining moments, especially since all of Elita's efforts to get him to lighten up never seem to go anywhere.
  • Number Two: Serves as this to Elita-1 among the Alpha-5, being her second-in-command.
     Prowl

Prowl

A former Cybertronian police officer and member of the now deceased Cyber Ninja Corps.
  • Composite Character: In terms of appearance, he takes predominantly after his G1 versions, while his background as a Cyber Ninja is taken from Transformers Animated.
     Wheeljack

Wheeljack

A loud, boisterous member of the Wreckers who lives for the thrill of a good fight.
  • Composite Character: Personality wise, he's entirely based on his Transformers Prime version, but his weapons and loadout are taken more from classical versions of the character, including his iconic shoulder cannon.
  • Person of Mass Destruction: If one of his adventures is to be believed, he destroyed an entire Decepticon base by himself...as well as the moon it was on.
     Jetfire

Jetfire

Commander of the Aerialbots and a former Decepticon, who was captured while rescuing a friend before fighting his way to freedom.
  • Gentle Giant: Even by Cybertronian standards, he's notably much larger than most, yet he's a total Nice Guy. When he accidentally intimidates Windblade, he apologizes and lampshades how his height tends to intimidate other bots.
  • Heel–Face Turn: He was once a member of the Seeker Armada within the Decepticon ranks. Later, he defected and joined the Autobots to fight against the tyranny of his former faction.
     Fixit

Fixit

     Windblade

Windblade

A warrior from Caminus taken hostage when the Decepticons invaded her homeworld. After regaining her freedom, she becomes part of the Alpha-5 crew on their mission to save her home.
  • Adaptational Sexuality: In other Transformers media, she's usually depicted as having either male love interests or no love interests. Here, she and Chromia are lovers.

The Decepticon Empire

     In General
     Megatron

Megatron, Lord of the Decepticons

  • Big Bad: As the Lord and Master of the Decepticons, an empire determined to conquer the entire galaxy and all life within it, Megatron certainly qualifies as this.
  • Fallen Hero: Megatron was once a political advocate for reform on Cybertron, eager to fix the corrupt and decadent Caste System that ruled his world and made his people suffer. Now, he's a ruthless conqueror who seeks to subjugate the entire galaxy.
  • The Ghost: While talked about frequently by many characters, he has yet to appear in either MTMTS or Camien Odyssey due to ruling his empire from behind the scenes.
  • We Used to Be Friends: He and Optimus were once very close to the point of being brothers in all but blood. He was also close friends with Elita, having helped her and Optimus get together back when they were Ariel and Orion respectively. Suffice to say, with him having started the war for Cybertron and become ruler of the Decepticon Empire, that friendship died long ago.
     Barricade

The Decepticon Justice Division (DJD)

A group within the Decepticon's ranks dedicated to eliminating any and all traitors to the cause, often in the bloodiest, most visceral ways imaginable.
     In General
  • Cold-Blooded Torture: This is basically their entire job. They find, capture, and torture anyone who abandons the Decepticon cause, and all with the most sadistic glee imaginable. This is first seen in Chapter 3 of Camien Odyssey, where they find and torture Blip by way of dismemberment, electrocution, acid chamber, and force-feeding him his own processor.
     Tarn

Tarn

The leader of the Decepticon Justice Division
  • Berserk Button: Touching or trying to remove his mask will set him off into a psychotic rage. When Blip did so, coupled with giving him a massive "The Reason You Suck" Speech that insults him for hiding behind it, he forewent his usual torture methods and opted to just beat his victim to death with his bare servos.
  • The Dreaded: He's leader of an entire team of this trope, so it goes without saying. It's also shown that even his own teammates are completely terrified of him, especially when something pisses him off.
  • Soft-Spoken Sadist: A justified case, as his Outlier abilities require that he get his voice in tempo with his victim's Spark to kill/torture them, thus lowering his voice to nothing but a whisper. As for the sadist part, the fact that he's the most sadistic member of an entire team of sadists makes this pretty obvious.
