This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

Monster.Literature M To Z has an entry about, and that starts with The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood. This is a fairy tale / literature that has its own Work Page at Literature.Sleeping Beauty (an alternative name for the work).
Request to change The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood to Sleeping Beauty so the Trope entry directly links to the work's page.
Brian Michael Bendis needs editing to mention that he's defected to DC Comics.
Please lock VideoGame.Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon and subpages ASAP. The games leaked and have been datamined.
Characters.Pokemon Generation VII Oranguru To Marshadow and Characters.Pokemon Ultra Beasts also need to be locked.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Locked all the non-redirects at least. At first I wanted to let the laconic be, but not taking any chances.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportHere is a Complete Monster (Nergal) which should be added into the Monster-World of Darkness subpage: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YMMV/VampireTheMasquerade
Also, Augustus Giovanni's entry has "so he can enslave" written twice, please fix it too in said subpage.
When the Darth Wiki was truly Darth: http://web.archive.org/web/20151224131522/http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DarthWiki/WallBangerHmmm... better lock up the human characters' pages too, just to be safe.
I have things to do and daddy issues to repress! All Complete Monster candidates must be examined and approved by the cleanup thread. When requesting that the example be added, you must provide or link to the full write-up.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'll bring Nergal to the thread, but please indeed change Giovanni's last sentence at World Of Darkness to "Desiring to supplant God himself, Augustus enslaves countless wraiths to eventually destroy the Shroud and cause the world to be utterly overrun by the dead so he can enslave both the living and the dead and become the unquestioned master of everyone."

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsHere's my idea for a Bendis-to-DC bit.
On November 7, 2017, DC Comics and Bendis made a surprising announcement: that he had signed a "multi-year, multi-faceted" writing deal with the Distinguished Competition, though it is unknown exactly when it will begin. Bendis later said that he was leaving Marvel on amicable terms, and that he feels characters he co-created such as Jessica Jones, Miles Morales and Riri Williams are in the hands of "the classiest editorial team in comics".

"I have my way, I'll have ****in' ten robots on this ****er and I'll run it from Seattle, how 'bout that?!" — Sig HansenFanfic.Nightfall is being moved to Webcomic.Nightfall. Can the two reviews be moved along with it?
Besides this stuff, please add the following to Complete Monster, Film:
Also, at Comic Books, please remove the Buffy example, and add Buffyverse to the list of works with their own pages,
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsOver on the Laconic Improvemnt thread (first brought up here), we discussed adding to Laconic.Fast Eddie. There's not been a lot of discussion, but maybe more feedback can be had here?
[EDIT: Further discussion was had and I've changed this suggestion to match the agreed upon change.]
I suggested (in the comment right after the linked one above) that the page be changed to the following for the laconic itself:
The Video Game: A platformer game starring a fast man named Eddie who collects prizes and avoids Sneakers.
And then for the thing at the bottom:
- The troper is going where he is going, and the video game has a lot of hearts to give.

Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyI'd like to request an edit to Pokémon: Ultra Beasts, under UB Burst's section:
- Life Drinker: After startling victims by exploding its head with Mind Blown, UB Burst drains their vitality to use as a source of energy.
Also, for Final Fantasy VII, the link to Dirge of Cerberus under Big Bad Ensemble needs to be fixed.

Can you make Diegetic Sound Bridge a redirect to Interscene Diegetic (it's the technical term). Also, Interscene Diegesis Continuum, which better describes it than the current title.

OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!Please cut the Stake Land example from Film P To Z and the King Scratch example from Literature G To L.
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsA a missing closing bracket needs to be added on Monster.Live Action TVM To Z, for the character Timmy Kirk:
Before:
- Timmy Kirk is a sociopathic murderer who gets by in Oz despite his mediocre intellect and physical strength, due to his sheer ruthlessness and treachery. A flashback shows that he was incarcerated for homicide after putting a baby, implied to be his own, in a rat-infested dumpster, over the desperate protests of its mother. Initially a low-ranking member of the Irish gang, he makes a name for himself in prison by [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder routinely betraying one gang for another. He seals Jeremiah Cloutier in a wall to die a slow and painful death in response to the latter casting Kirk out of his gang for his erratic behavior. After Father Mukada refuses to accept Kirk's reversion to Catholicism, Kirk responds by burning down Mukada's church in hopes of killing him. When Mukada survives the attack, Kirk continues to hound him with absurd allegations of sexual molestation. Kirk, by now facing execution, is simply happy that he might die knowing that the allegations could see Mukada permanently stripped of his priesthood.

Aaah, the villains' pages are being edited to fit USUM even though leaks are not allowed! Quick, lock those pages too!

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsSo I did say I was going to process the backlog, but a computer issue I need to tend means that this will be postponed for a while.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhat about the other mods?
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsSpace after dash in page quote of Monster.Webcomics. Why exactly is this page protected?
edited 14th Nov '17 11:52:42 AM by eroock
It's a monster page,edit warring I imagine
New theme music also a boxYup. All Complete Monster pages (except Quotes.Complete Monster, and that one we keep an eye on) to prevent edit warring and unauthorized additions/deletions.
EDIT: It can be tricky enough keeping an eye on the YMMV pages, much less if the CM pages themselves were unlocked.
