resolved Just...what?
On WesternAnimation.SouthParkTheStreamingWars (which I looked at because it's surprising that it has a page two weeks before release), the only thing on the page was the word "Test". I thought that seemed odd, so I looked at the page history, and, well...
openWhen is a good time to make a RunningGag page?
I've currently been helping to add to the Max0r page, and lately, the Running Gag section is starting to get plump.
openMeta moments on Awosome page.
These entries are on Awesome.Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness:
Meta
- The casual LGBT representation, with America openly having a Pride Flag pin on her jacket and Stephen not batting an eye when he sees that she Has Two Mommies. In addition, the film was Banned In Saudi Arabia because of the brief time America's moms are on screen, but Disney reportedly refused to cut it.
- Ever since Disney bought the former 20th Century Fox, fans were wating for the moment former Fox-owned Marvel characters would appear in an MCU film. While Wandavision teased us with the supposed return of Evan Peters as the Fox!X-Men version of Quicksilver, this movie is the payoff. Because not only do we see the MCU debut of the Fantastic Four (in the form of no less than fancast favorite John Krasinski as Reed Richards), but in the moment no one could imagine, we seen the MCU debut of Charles Xavier... yes, over five years after Charles' death in Logan, Sir Patrick Stewart makes his Marvel return. And not only as Professor X, but as a live-action interpretation of the Professor X from X-Men: The Animated Series, right down to the theme song and yellow hoverchair. This was a Marvel moment for the ages, and, horrific fates aside, it did not disappoint.
- And if the above wasn't enough, we have Black Bolt with a comic-accurate costume (and the return of Anson Mount from Inhumans), Maria Rambeau as Captain Marvel, and the live action debut of Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter. The Illuminati was well represented here and, again, their fates aside, the awesomeness can not be understated.
Meta moments are not allowed and normally I would simply remove it but the thing is that I already removed a meta moment about Krasinski being there awhile back.
- The confirmation of Reed Richards being part of the Illuminati, with the added bonus of being played by fan favorite casting John Krasinski.
So, I don't know if removing this new one would count as a Edit War and thought it better to ask for opinions here first.
Edited by BullmanopenKaguya-sama Love Is War Franchise Original Sin. Just A Question? Anime
I like to know the reason why are the "fans" are so upset about something like this?
Franchise Original Sin: Kaguya and Shirogane having sex, played entirely for laughs was the last straw for many fans who were unhappy with the humor of the series gradually getting lewder, that the author had gone back on his word of the series not needing Fanservice to instead chase the lowest common denominator. Actually, the early series was hardly 100% clean and wholesome—for instance, a fan favorite gag from the first few chapters revolves around Kaguya struggling not to laugh whenever she hears a word she mistakes to mean "penis"—but in those early jokes the sexual content were framing devices for the actual jokes, based more on character personality: in that case, the actual punchline was seeing the normally stoic Kaguya degenerating into giggling fits about something that really shouldn't be so funny to anyone above elementary school-age. Later jokes dismiss with that and just have the sex itself be the joke—an early foreshadowing to the Kaguya/Shirogane joke that pissed the fanbase off can be found in the Running Gag concerning Tsubasa and Nagisa's relationshipnote specifically, that they're always barely able to avoid being caught having sex in public.
If anything, be feeling honest, there's absolutely nothing wrong about them having sex even if its played for humor. Please give me a proper explanation?

openBrian Michael Bendis' Superman = Audience-Alienating Era Print Comic
Okay, I gotta ask: is Superman (Brian Michael Bendis) truly an Audience-Alienating Era? The entry reads:
"While not universally hated, Superman (Brian Michael Bendis) is widely disliked by many Superman fans for a variety of reasons, with many seeing it as the biggest example of DC's poor creative direction around the end of The New '10s. The run was already met with immense scepticism before it debuted, owing to forcibly ending the beloved Peter J. Tomasi run on the book, and Bendis' extremely controversial reception, and this only compounded as the run progressed and Bendis' run became infamous for making widely divisive decisions which alienated long-time fans, most infamous among them being his decision to give Jon Kent a Plot-Relevant Age-Up (the backlash to Bendis would infamously mock fans for in both the book itself and on twitter) and have Clark publicly reveal himself as Superman, both of which were derided as spitting in the face of fans. Bendis' run also became known for its weak villains, with a large amount of time spent on Generic Doomsday Villain Rogal Zaar and the overlong, directionless "Leviathan" storyline which eventually petered out into an Aborted Arc despite continual promotion, as well as his well-known quirks such as meandering dialogue and scattershot approach to continuity and established mythology. All in all, despite the substantial push, Bendis' run would end unceremoniously after a little over two years and leaving Phillip Kennedy Johnson to pick up the pieces."
First of, the entry kinda shoots itself in the foot several times by stating that the Bendis era isn't as hated as much as it is divisive.
Secondly, websites and reviewers like Superman Homepage, Comic-Watch, Fortress of Solitude and DC Comics News have positive reviews for the issues directly written by Bendis so there's support for Bendis' comics.
Third, the general consensus for the Bendis era is that "good concepts with bad execution, Superman as a character has a pretty good portrayal but the villains are mediocre", so I sincerely don't know whether the people who hate this run are either a vocal minority or a very sizeable crowd.
Fourth, last time I checked, Audience-Alienating Era applies when
1. the run is a critical and financial disappointment
2. any changes caused by this run are reverted by later stories
3. any time this story is referenced to, it's done in a negative and mocking manner.
So, what do you say?
By the way, I already asked this at Is this an example? to get a proper consensus?
Edited by MasterHeroopenExtent of DMOS Rules Live Action TV
This is a little embarrassing, as the answer is probably obvious, but I truly do not know. In regards to Dethroning Moment Of Suck, how does it work for different installments in the same medium of the same franchise? I added years ago to Live Action TV an entry for Lady Gaga and the Muppets: Holiday Spectacular, and I now want to add one for a brief scene in The Muppets 2015. I think they are different enough (one is a TV special) that I feel comfortable adding it, but I want to be 100% sure of the rules first.
open Trope examples on trope pages?
I've noticed some Music Tropes like Eurobeat, Crunkcore, Electro House (even has YMMV tropes), Dubstep, Synthwave (not even a trope page), have "Tropes associated with" segments in them, and I don't mean like SubTropes or related tropes, but treating the genre like a work page by giving further details that could have been in the description or giving combined examples for multiple artists. I don't think that's proper?
open Difference between tropes
I try to ask on the discussion page for Canonical List of Subtle Trope Distinctions, but nobody actually reads that.
What's the difference between Canon Welding, Character Overlap, and The 'Verse? Are any subtropes of each other?

openAbout work page that you find it heavy spoilers enough to be spoilers off
I find a work page that I t้hink it's heavy spoilers enough to should be spoilers off but it has spoilers marked. What should I do to get approval or consensus to make it spoilers off? Or I can just simply delete those spoilers and put a warning?
Edited: It's Takopi's Original Sin by the way.
Edited by XVIIKNIGHTopenFan-Nicknamed franchise page
Nasuverse is a franchise page that covers the larger franchise created by Kinoko Nasu. However, for what I've understand, "Nasuverse" is actually a Fan Nickname term for his works, rather than an "actual name" for it. It is just a really widely used one. So I really wanted to ask if that is fine?
Note that creating a Creator page for Kinoko Nasu and transferring all the stuff there wouldn't work that well because Nasu has written stuff what isn't part of his created universe. He wrote a scenario to 428: Shibuya Scramble, which spun-off into Canaan anime. Type-Moon also has its own page, but it also has similar problem where one of the works released under the Type-Moon flag is Fire Girl that isn't even written by Nasu.
Chances are that it is best to leave it like that since there is no good "official" way to talk about the universe, but what do I know, I might not even be right about this being a Fan Nickname.
So do you also use the trope launch pad to make an index too?
