This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Berserk Button: misusing Nightmare Fuel
I noticed that NightmareFuel.The Super Mario Bros Movie has a few examples that explicitly link to Fridge Horror, despite Fridge stuff not belonging on Nightmare Fuel pages (as the comment at the top of the page helpfully points out). The following need to be cut:
- And the fact that Mario and Luigi had just arrived in the Mushroom World and there are already hundreds of Dry Bones (undead Koopa Troopas) laying around in the Darklands makes you have to wonder just what exactly caused them to die in the first place.
- While it's Played for Laughs, albeit very dark laughs, the Lumalee imprisoned in Bowser's castle has a very disturbing mindset, always speaking in a cheery voice about how there's no hope of escaping and the only way out is the "sweet release" of death, with the scene of Bowser attempting to sacrifice him along with the rest of the prisoners showing that he's looking forward to being dunked in the lava. What hellish treatment did Bowser put this child through to make him want to die so badly?
- Not helping is the horrific implications. Considering that he doesn't appear in the rest of the movie, likely being Killed Off for Real, that was a kamikaze attack onscreen, in a Mario movie of all things!
