Deadpan Snarker Western Animation

• The Mask:
  • Stanley Ipkiss has his moments when he deals with people who are idiots, jerks or cowards. But The Mask is this a lot more since he is a lot more confident than Stanley, and shows expressions of annoyance, as he has to play the role of being the Only Sane Man when he's dealing with people who are ignoring the signs of something bad happening.
  • Dr.Neuman as usual when played by Ben Stein, but his masked self takes this Up to Eleven as he keeps up his deadpan demeanour even when he's insane.

Some Headscratchers for The Tale of Despereaux:

• Why exactly the Queen of Dor died? It's commonly assumed that she suffered a heart attack because of Roscuro's ugly appearance and presence on her soup, but others argue that she drowned due to faceplanting on her soup after fainting. However, in case of the latter, why didn't the King think on lifting up his wife's head from the soup?
• How was Miggery Sow able to kidnap Princes Pea without getting caught by anyone? Yeah, the King was depressed on his room and didn't do anything due to his wife's death, but whatabout the other knights or servants of the castle? No one saw or heard Princess Pea screaming for help?
• How Roscuro managed to lock up Miggery Sow in a dungeon? He's just a rat and she is a human woman capable of running away from him. Or did he somehow knocked her into the cell and closed the door?
• Why wasn't Miggery Sow arrested at the end for kidnapping and locking up Princess Pea at the castle's dungeons? Taking the princess hostage is a serious crime, after all...

For a potential Headscratchers page of Eye for an Eye:

• How is even possible that Robert Doob was able to sneak into Megan's school without being spotted by any kids or teachers? What's more, he even shoved a kid who was teasing Megan away so he could talk with her, shouldn't that kid warn the teacher that a grown up man pushed him during recess?

And for a potential Headscratchers page of I Care a Lot:

• What happened with Roman's female assassin, the one who killed Dr. Karen Amos? After murdering Dr. Amos, she appears in another scene and then vanishes from the film into thin air...
• When Marla tricks Jennifer Peterson into attacking her so she could commit her to a psychiatric ward as a retribution for Dr. Amos' death, why didn't Marla defend herself from Jennifer? Yeah, Jennifer's an old woman and Marla didn't do anything so the security camera could record the whole scene, but Jennifer is a woman who deals with Russian mobsters, so what if Jennifer ended up snapping Marla's neck?
• Why instead of leaving Marla and Fran unconscious, didn't Roman have her men to kill them immediately? In Marla's case, Roman could have asphyxiated her with the plastic bag and then throw her to the river, so there would have been no way to prove that she didn't drown. And in Fran's case, Roman's henchmen didn't even consider the possibility that Fran could regain her consciousness and crawl away from the building?
• How did Marla pay for her purchases after surviving Roman's assassination attempt? If she was wearing her wallet when the car was thrown into the river, all her money and her credit card would be wet and thus it would no longer serve to buy anything.
• Why didn't Mr. Feldstrom shoot Fran at the end along with Marla? Even if Fran didn't lock up her mother in the assisted living residence, she fully knew what Marla was doing and didn't do anything to stop her.

Ax-Crazy Western Animation The Mask: Masked Dr Neuman is this as he is genuinely insane, but unlike The Mask is psychotic and delusional. He does keep his insanity in control most of the time, except when Charlie mentions Stanley to him, and it causes him to lost complete control which causes him to nearly perform lobotomy on Charlie, though he regains control of himself when his appointment alarm went off. After hearing from Pretorius how he's going to destroy Edge City is by using a nuclear missile on the city, Masked Dr Neuman shows joy and glee at the thought of it to be destroyed, since he thinks in his delusional mind that it will bring an end to the outbreak of Ipkissa Maskosis once and for all. He also brings out a Slasher Smile as he is about to kill Stanley with a power cable, showing that he is more insane than The Mask ever is.

Sanity Has Advantages

Western Animation The Mask: The Mask despite being a Cloudcuckoolander is a lot more sane than he appears to be, as he saves Edge City along with the people living there, and his friends. The other mask personas do not have that unfortunately as Eve is a lot more love-crazy than The Mask is, but she does have her moments of being sane as well, Masked Dr Neuman is delusional, psychotic and is in denial that he is insane and Masked Peggy Brandt is a lot more egotistical than The Mask is, as she tends to go check on her makeover instead of rescuing someone in trouble, though she is good-hearted like The Mask is as well.

Melinda: You misunderstand what Prefers Rocks to Pillows is about. That trope is only about places to sleep, not about people prefering a rugged existence in general.

The Mask: Masked Dr Neuman is this to The Mask as he is polite, funny and wearing the same coat with same colour scheme as The Mask's along with having a bow tie that also has the same colour scheme as The Mask's tie, though however while The Mask is harmless and tends to not taking things too seriously, while Masked Dr Neuman takes himself very seriously. The Mask is a Cloudcuckoolander but Masked Dr Neuman is Ax-Crazy, their moral centers are different as well, with The Mask not willing to hurt or kill people, but Masked Dr Neuman is willing to do that. The Mask will not team up with anyone who is willing to hurt people or kill them, though Masked Dr Neuman has no problem doing that.

• Dirty Cop: Large portions of the Korean police are secretly minions of the Big Bad God and are helping him with his illegal activities.

• Mind Rape: The ability to violate the mind is the special ability of the vampire Sahan. Sahan torments his victims using visions of personal figures to them to mess with them psychologically.

• One-Man Army:
  • Hayan is a pure blood vampire and hence one of the strongest of her kind. It allows her to effortlessly take down hundreds of mixed blood vampires in her fights.
  • The generals of the Big Bad, the "Angels of Death" are each able to take down hundred of other vampires themselves. In fact to become an "Angel of Death" requires a vampire to be the strongest of his region.

• Psycho Psychologist: Sahan works as a school therapist. He uses this position to take in abused and neglected teenagers and then warp them into bloodthirsty vampires by preying on their insecurities.

• Psychic-Assisted Suicide: The vampire Sahan when cornered attempts this by forcing a crowd of hundreds of people to rip their own hearts out if the heroine Hayan does not surrender to him.

The Mask: Though the cartoon is known for breaking the laws of physics, there are still several times that this will occur no matter what.

• The Mask may be the city's famous superhero, but he does have to pay up for the food and drinks he brought, along with making sure to have a credit card as well though he maxes them out one at a time which Stanley comes up being Crazy-Prepared by getting more so that The Mask doesn't end up having to pay the charges for buying them.
• Stanley ends up dealing with Dr Neuman's masked self as he holds a power cable to kill him with, so he tries to use reverse psychology on him but it does not work as Masked Dr Neuman is a trained psychotherapist insane or not, which causes Stanley to find another way to stop him.
• Stanley dates a young woman named Evelyn who accidentally wears the Mask of Loki, and becomes a very beautiful, superpowered, Amazonian woman named Eve, which after getting used to her and seeing that she is a nice girl like Evelyn, Stanley starts to wonder if he should let her be around for a while, but then realises that it's not right as Evelyn will be trapped inside if he does that. The other reasons also is that the Mask of Loki must be used for good, he will grow old and die while Eve stays the same being beautiful and young, thanks to the mask, Eve is insane and unpredictable so things will be too hard for Stanley to manage on his own with having to keep her under control and, making sure no one finds out that The Mask as the people call him is living with him, and also the last thing is what their children will look like, along with the possibility of them having powers and abilities inherited from their mom Eve, so Stanley decides to take her face off no matter what even if he feels guilty about doing it.

Diablo II

• Video Game Remake: At Blzzcon 2021, it was announced that it would be receiving one titled; Diablo 2 Resurrected. Now featuring full 3d gameplay (though with great effort done to keep the presentation of the original just with additional detail. Much like what was done in the Age of Empires Definite Edition's) updated player character models, and shot for shot redo of cinematic's.

What does Diablo fall under with the genres listed on the Video Game Remake folders? I don't see Dungeon Crawler.
