Mad Dog Barks Back has been described as a Spaghetti Western with a Post-Cyberpunk edge. Whereas Dan Corolla's previous works have been much darker deconstructions, Mad Dog is a comparatively lighthearted and comedic romp. Compared to his previous series {{Webcomic/Scotch & Vodka}} (which Mad Dog shares a universe with), Mad Dog Barks Back takes itself way less seriously, wearing its Spaghetti Western influences on its shirt.

Music.Malf Milf has a character who's either this or a Snake Oil Salesman appear once per album, though sometimes as just a passing mention. Every instance of this is implied to be the same character, who changes his name and moves across the country to evade being sued for malpractice.

Four Lines, All Waiting

Part of Triple-000 7's comedy is the ridiculous, convoluted snarl of plotlines between MI4 trying to re-activate Jimmy's service, Jimmy trying to escape MI4, G.H.O.S.T.'s evil plan, and the actually halfway-competent Agent 2 trying to outmaneuver all of them.

The Gargoyle King: The Coalition of Truth are a group of Flat Earth Atheists who devote themselves to disproving the Gargoyle King's existence, refusing to accept any evidence proving otherwise. Their leader, Murray, really takes the cake. When the Gargoyle King visits the group's congregation, Murray insists that what he's seeing is a guy in a costume. Even after the Gargoyle King uses his powers to kill all of the flowers in the garden, Murray still doesn't believe him.

Scarlet, The Movie of the popular 1980s animated television series The Adventures of Scarlet was widely predicted to become a flop before its release due to its target audience of children and the decline of family-friendly films in the past decade. It turned out to be a box office success in spite of mixed reviews from critics due to the show's surprisingly massive adult fanbase turning up to theaters in droves.

In Series.People Died Today, Ernie and Arnold constantly declare that their No Budget film project will be a smash success. Turns out, it is - because they accidentally caught a wanted Serial Killer in the background of one scene, revealing his current whereabouts. Everyone buys it for that one scene and skips the rest. They consider this to be good enough.

Buzz! Buzz! Goes the Fly in My Cock is a cartoon about a chicken named Buzz who eats a talking fly that keeps calling out his name. Though this was studio Creator.Goodol Flicks's last work, it was long thought to be an extreme case of Have a Gay Old Time, until the director revealed that this was intentionally chosen to flip off the entertainment industry in the studio's dying days.

It serves not just to introduce him, but also reveal the characters are aliens after setting it up look like they're human, wth their feet having four large splaying toes like a birds'.)

Parodied with Bomba's introductory cutscene in VideoGame.Polite Joseph. We're shown his shoes as he steps out of a limousine, then the camera pans up... revealing he's a Waddling Head. (This becomes an Establishing Character Moment, as characters who meet him later usually comment that they were Expecting Someone Taller, and get pummeled senseless for it.)

(Literature.Eulogy Of The Crumbling Man: Exaggerated with Robert Spills, whose every bit of dialogue is described as being "spilled" or "spilled out". The protagonist tells him to cut it out, and Robert tells him that he doesn't know what he's talking about (which is "spilled out, spillingly, in a spill").)

I've wanted to do it for a while too. I'll spoiler mine out tho so I don't influence anyone's answer.

The Harrier II Show: Captain Harry Hankman asked Commander Bronco "What's cooking, sir?" in a deadpan tone upon smelling burning fuel that is not from his personal Harrier jet.

In the Kirby RPG spinoff Kirby of the Stars: Mystery of the Floating City, Kirby can add various characters from his past games into his party. Some of the NP Cs' dialogues, usually story-important ones, will change depending on who the second character is, and vice versa, the most noteworthy example being the characters' various reactions to Andrew, the stranded human teenager (Magolor will act ecstatic at Andrew, Dedede and Bandana Waddle Dee comment on how weird he looks, Elfilin reacts with fear, Ribbon will say he looks familiar, etc.). Notably, Adeleine is not present in the game, though Ribbon is. This is because Andrew is Adeleine's big brother.

The book Scott Epoch, Maker Of Monsters follows the titular Mad Scientist as he tries to genetically engineer a person with no redeeming qualities whatsoever, and the realistic consequences that follow.

"Something Only She Knows", a 1952 folk song, has fallen victim to this trope twice: first having been covered by soft rock band The Ubervilles in 1974 and then having been covered by bubblegum pop star Cosmo in 2008, the latter of whom assumed the song was an original Ubervilles song instead of a cover.

One episode of Teeny Tiny Tales has Martin Mouse and Cynthia Cockroach doing this to each other while asleep.

One of the playable characters in Der Flohwalzer, Regatta, is an interesting subversion of this trope. An immortal demigoddess with the ability to see into parallel universes, she has seen all of the multitude of ways the human race has been their own undoing. In order to mask her disgust and paranoia, she takes on an eerily cheery disposition.

In Space Explorers! The Adventure Continues!, the Abominoids, who required the Federation and Empire to set aside their differences to defeat in the previous series, are shown being handily defeated and Integrated by the Evolution Engines.
