Odd TV Tropes confessions

I put "Totally" before Suspiciously Specific Denial when I'm wrighting.

I have a tendency to misread Deconstruction as "Destruction".

Most of my typos in the forums (and in general) tend to come from me going back and forth between different ways of wording something, with a leftover word being left from the option I didn’t use.

e.g. “I am really bad at typing” or “I really suck at typing” = “I am really suck at typing.”

I’m gonna put some Gloom in your eye.

I have exactly the same problem. I feel like I might have mentioned it somewhere else on the forums, but not this thread.

Good to see I'm not the only one here who does these kinds of typos (on the site and in general). It's really annoying, though, when I make typos in my explanations for some edits because I can't edit my explanations.

If I screw up an edit reason in that way and I notice it after the fact, I leave a null edit with a correction.

Sometimes I accidentally click enter before I finish my edit reason, so I have to make an null edit to finish said edit reason lol.

Sometimes, I wonder if the only reason I don't get notifiers is because no one actually cares about the edits I make.

I associated it with Encyclopedia Brown because we used to have Encyclopedia Browned as a trope name.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

I have today found that someone has adopted one of my drafts on the TLP and I have very mixed feelings about it. I wish them the best, but I hadn't officially abandoned it and was also hoping to get back to it when I got the time.

The issue is, 2 months of inactivity is an automatic Up For Grabs.

I miss Everythings Better With Plushies even though I highly agree with the consensus it isn't trope worthy, because the page was just a big ball of image links for cute plushies and I loved looking at them.

I'm usually great at spelling words cuz etymology is one of my special interests, but even if I was held at gunpoint I wouldn't be able to spell gratitituous. Gratutious. Gratitous. Gratuous. GRATUITOUS. I have to sextuple-check every time I write Gratuitous Foreign Language 'lest I make a fool of myself and create a red link.

I'm finally bothering to clean out the pages in my to-do list. Most are just pages I tagged for cleanup with an unhelpful bio to come back to later, and then immediately forgot about. Most of the notes are just keyboard mash, though I did tag Film.Manos The Hands Of Fate with: "the master would not be pleased with this page"

I discovered that the plans for the Platform/ and MediaNotes/ namespaces were being put into motion after handling Cut List requests for the original namespaces for those pages (mostly UsefulNotes/, but some were previously in the Website/ namespace). It was a pleasant surprise to see that the thread that came up with the ideas paid off, since they were inactive for a while.
