4/10 When done poorly, it can make the story seem artificial, and not in a good way. I do like it in stories about coincidence and fate, but otherwise not really my thing.
What fate a slugcat...
10/10. It's a unique and fun concept that applies in fiction just as much as it does in Real Life.
"This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia7/10 when done well it's heartwarming.
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."6/10 It's a cool idea and at least two of the characters I like fit this mold, but I don't really know much about it to share a concrete opinion.
5/10 I mean, I believe in the same virtues as them, but I would be annoyed by this type of person IRL if all they talked about was love. I also can't think of any examples of this trope that I like in fiction
Threatening Mediator
7/10 good for a chuckle, and occasionally to hide secrets
What fate a slugcat...8/10. It can be quite interesting, especially if Played for Laughs.
God Is Evil "This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia
2/10. It comes off as “OW THE EDGE” for me.
It's Over Anakin, I have the high ground!7/10 a bit cliche, but can be a good way to show a Heel–Face Turn

"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."7/10. When used negatively, it can be an interesting way to show why corporations shouldn't have too much power. Other than that, I'm not sure. Also, I have a nitpick about the beginning of the trope page. I am not going to listen to four different songs for just one trope.
Cats Are Snarkers No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet.
10/10. It's usually awesome, especially if there is variation in the map's continents and their overall shapes.
Loves the Sound of Screaming "This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia
Bump.
Currently Reading: N/A6/10 Prefer when it's done comedically instead of seriously. It's one of those Ax-Crazy psycho tropes that I don't really care for.
Evil Overlooker
Gentle bump
7/10. It's nice and effective when done well.
Make-Out Kids "This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia
4/10 don't really care for it.
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."5/10
Meh, that's all I can really say about it. It IS just calling someone out for being a chicken.
Remind me to kill that annoying speaker
3/10, I like it short and sweet, but the high and mighty long-winded speeches I detest.
It's Over Anakin, I have the high ground!7/10. No strong feeling on it, but it might be good for drawing people's attention to their own overpriced habits. I don't know, though.
fun fact: pro tip: breaking news: life hack: i can't find a good signature6/10. Mostly neutral on it, but I like more sympathetic examples of this.
Cutting the Knot "This kimono is perfect for the Hisui-themed festival, right?" - Cynthia
7/10
If used well, it can be a good way of subverting expectations.
Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes.7/10. it's disgusting but a good kind of disgusting in a way
i can't believe nor even fathom that he visited his friend! the audacity!
8/10, bouncers are pretty copy-and-paste and boring some of the time but when they're not, they're either really funny or are involved in cool fight scenes.
