As seen in the Do we have a project to disambig works? Ask The Tropers, there are many works pages that seem to need disambigs, by virtue of sharing names and having no differentiation.
This thread is for the discussion and listing of what to do about such pages.
See here for a list of needed disambigs.
The List
- Film.The Lost World
- Series.Utopia
- Series.Kidnapped (2006 NBC Cop Show) (20 wicks)
- Series.The Street
- VideoGame.Star Wars Battlefront
- VideoGame.Star Wars Battlefront II
- WesternAnimation.Fantasia
- WesternAnimation.Max Steel
Similar Issues
- Then there is pages like The Host which is for the Korean film but has a bunch of wicks referring to the adaptation of The Host.
- Ransom: YMMV.Ransom only has Film entries, but Characters.Ransom is trying to be a disambig to Characters.Ransom Film and Characters.Ransom TV... Trivia.Ransom needs to be split.
- Film.Deadlands is conflicting with the Tabletop Game. Maybe move to its redirect, Film. The Dead Lands?
- Series. The Untouchables: It's holding multiple versions in there...

Characters.Sweet Home and its targets' histories are weird. Don't know how to deal with that.
Everything else is good to be moved to whatever we think / thought up for the Webcomic / Series.

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576So, like the 1989, anyone against Sweet Home 2017 for Sweet Home and Series and Webcomic?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Yes, thanks. And I see you added the 2017's prologue / date / whatever. Webcomic.Sweet Home 2018 exists. Gonna have it cut. Hopefully it hasn't gathered many inbounds.

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576I still don't understand why we disambiguate works just because they have the same title. Isn't that what the media namespaces are for?
I can understand it if there's a custom title collision (Mother vs mother! (2017)) or if there are two works with the same name in the same namespace (Film. The Guardian 1990 vs Film. The Guardian 2006), but otherwise I don't see the point.
Avatar by Butterscotch Arts. Used under license.Sandbox.How To Create A Disambiguation Page (which seems to be a mod draft for an Administrivia page) suggests that we don't - unless we're getting into "Multiple overlapping subpages" territory or similar.
Well, on fanfic disambigs, fanfics have less claim to the most direct name due to being an unlicensed work, and fans who make pages have a habit of making subpages, I think?
But we are supposed to be reactive, not proactive, so I'll leave The Love Club alone, among others.
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Fanfic.Secret War needs to at least maintain name priority parity with the ComicBook.Secret War 2004.
The fanfic also calls itself "Secret War Warhammer 40,000", so should we call it that, or Secret War Adrassil, because it's much less confusing that way?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Should we do this, just because Characters subpage exists so not all subpages are for the album? The YMMV folder for the fanfic has always been empty?
Fanfic.HybridTheory to Fanfic.HybridTheoryChrisMcNeil
Characters.HybridTheory to Characters.HybridTheoryChrisMcNeil
I created a page for Thomas Hobbes Leviathan.
There are a lot of pages with the name Leviathan, so I how do I make a disambiguation page?
Move it (copy all the content and cut that page) to Leviathan (Thomas Hobbes)
Actually, Leviathan Or The Matter Form And Power Of A Commonwealth Ecclesiastical and Civil, so we don't have to disambig, then we Custom Title it to add the punctuation and stuff.

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576The full title is too long.
Yep, that's why I cut out the word "Ecclcastical", or whatever.
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576But then it wouldn't be the appropriate title, nor is it even an Officially Shortened Title.
Literature.Leviathan Thomas Hobbes is fine.
Webcomic.Alice Webcomic, is a bad disambig name. I pinned down the date to Pre?-1999 for some reason, but anyone got a better name than trying to figure out the year?
Given my edit reason, apparently the site moved to Keenspot? http://alice.keenspot.com/d/19990625.html
There's no reason to assume that's not the right start date, right?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Thanks! I'm going with 1999 in... 3 days, if no one finds any overlaps and stuff? Wikipedia doesn't report anything in 1999.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice
...
Also gotta remember to turn Film.A Boy And His Dog into a disambig between Film.A Boy And His Dog 1945 and Film.A Boy And His Dog 1975, the latter which has at least the one wick.

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Searching IMDB for the title "Alice" only brings up a TV episode in that year.
Why? Neither film has a page here.
Avatar by Butterscotch Arts. Used under license.- Might as well do it now, then.
- Sorry, 1 year off. Film.A Boy And His Dog 1946

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Nearly done cleaning Alice of works:
Theatre.Alice, was going to choose Alice 2013, but there's at least 6 Shorts with that year, according to IMDB.
Music.Alice Tom Waits Album also mentions a play from 1992. What should the new names be?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Was spamming Random Media, found Brooklyn. Should Theatre.Brooklyn actually be BKLYN? Also so it's not confused with the movie / book?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576It seems that the title is indeed "Brooklyn".
Avatar by Butterscotch Arts. Used under license. The playbill seems to be just a stylistic rendering, since all sources I could find use "Brooklyn" or "Brooklyn the Musical". Maybe the latter can be the page name.
I would think the AO3 name since that's what it was published under.
You mean making the former a redirect to the latter, since they are duplicates? Yes. It has a number of zces that need to be commented out, but still enough tropes to stand.
