I think I just got a collection for another character I love and that is freaking Aqua from Kingdom Hearts. I have no idea why but I feel like it's her determination and similarities of us makes me love her a lot which is why she's my pfp.

I’m very glad that people are more accepting of the waifu- and husbando-having lifestyle nowadays. :) There’s something that makes me grin cleverly. ;) If one of my junior high school classmates got inappropriately angry with me for having a big crush on Lara Croft, I can only imagine how he’d react to my being so greatly in love with Princess Celestia.

Remembering Fate/Stay Night reminded me of why Rin Tohsaka is my favorite character in the Nasuverse. Many root for Saber, Rider or Akiha, but... nah, Rin is where it's at.

Hi everyone, new troper here and this my first post on this discussion.

I think that I had my first official cartoon crush when I had 9 (or 10?) years old and when I first watched Transformers: Rescue Bots when the show premiered in Poland in 2013 (or maybe I watched it later? I don't exactly remember it) with said crush being Frankie Greene (even though at first I didn't realised that I fallen in love in her). Everytime I saw her on screen I had warm feeling inside me. I liked her for being pretty (that one is obvious given that she's black, and everyone knows that black girls are beautiful, which I even seemed to realize when I was in preschool), smart and sassy girl with kind heart and for being my peer (she was around my age at that time in addition of being a nerd just like me). And due to me having rather... weird feelings concerning animations where characters grow up from children to teens/young adults (which may partially steem from my fear of growing up) and my above mentioned thoughs that Black women are beautiful, had resulted in me sometimes thinking in scenes where Frankie appeared that she will grow up into gorgeous young lady that wears different outfit and hairstyle than the ones she weared as a child and looks similar to her stepmom Ana Baranova and Elma Hendrickson from episode It's a Bot Time (looks like even as a child I had dirty thoughts). So I was very disappointed when the Time Skip showed that Frankie didn't go through Significant Wardrobe Shift and Expository Hairstyle Change.

But enough about my feelings. Write if you as children had a crush on character who was around your age.

A lot of Konosuba fans prefer Megumin. A fair amount, though with a healthy dose of teasing, crush on Aqua. It seems like not many crush on Darkness. But I do! It would never work out though. (I mean, if the being a fictional character thing wasn't already a thing, lol). I can't be aggressive to a girl, I prefer a girl to be aggressive to me!

She's one of my favorite sidekicks in the Zelda series, alongside Linebeck and New Hyrule's Zelda. Ashei is no slouch either, despite her tomboyishness.

I also remember liking Midna for a while. :) She was right when she playfully asked Link if he was hypnotized by how beautiful she looked in her true form. ;)

this may sound weird but I really didn't cared for his real form, I like her more as an imp she's still pretty and hot while feeling much more unique, it also doesn't help that I see her as an imp during most of the adventure and any appearance of her outside her original game so that imp form feels more like her "real" form to me if that makes sense because that's how I knew her.
