Origin of Username

A song from Mystery Science Theater 3000. When I was making a Discord account, Toobular Boobular was stuck in my head. So I went with it and here we are. My backup name if this one was taken was AerologicalAutoerotical, from the first part of one of the lines.

It's a pretty old joke about how I tend to have really bad luck all the time. The latter half is the name of the pre-evolution of my favourite Pokémon, "Zoroark" is usually too long to put in.

First half is Irish for "dark one". Second half is a reference to Emil Cioran.

The name of my favorite character from Warrior Cats, as my first edit was about her and I needed something I'd remember.

This DaThings1 YTP is where it comes from (scene at 2:54).

I named my account after the Twelfth Doctor from Doctor Who, choosing him specifically because his personality matches mine: a man who contemplates whether he is a good man or not.

It rhymes, it's about light, and it sounds cool. End of story.

I'm a geek. I'm an artist. 8 is basically an arc number to me. I don't know that usernames here can be spaced. Here it is, the lass you (probably don't) know as me.

Completely something I pulled out of my ass, I wanted to make some fictional chemical compound name.

its a cool portmanteau of Madame Butterfly and a butterfly knife. Plus, I liked the juxtaposition of a dangerous folding weapon from Asia with a piece of media that pretty much codified the Mighty Whitey and Mellow Yellow trope.

I just picked it because it sounded Internet-y.

Ah... it's kind of an Old Shame. But my user name comes from a Tekken Original Character that I made up when I was younger and stupider...

Mine is derived from my Wikipedia username, hence the Wikipedia in my username.

Also, is it possible to get your username changed? I do not like that the "From" in my username isn't capitalized.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to change your username. You need to create a new account if you want a different username.

In your case, since it's just capitalization, you can use The Custom Title System to get it fixed.

As for my username... flap flap meow. Winged Humanoids are cool, catgirls are cool, I like to think of myself as being both of these things.

I thought it sounded cool. I was in a mild edgy phase at that point, which somewhat dropped out when I returned to this account in 2018 (though I continued using strange avatars because why not).

Nowadays though, I certainly wouldn't have based my username around nightmares or such, but I don't want to move to a new account to change it either

Well, the reason I joined Tv Tropes was to fix all the problems that I saw when I looked at tropes, and I thought a gardening metaphor was apt. So I picked this username and profile pic from the movie Being There, where Peter Sellers' character's name is Chance the Gardener. And my last name is Clancy, so...

Self-explanatory. (I'm quite the unimaginative person sometimes, and I had a trend to avoid reusing usernames.)

Has the unfortunate side effect of people assuming I'm new to TVT. I've been here since 2016.
