I thought I saw a page being too long, when moving wicks to Film/Armageddon1998, and I can't find it again, even though it was supposed to be on Sandbox.Overly Long Pages, a.k.a the pages that we need to watch?

What do you mean?

I edited a page listed in that Related Pages list and thought I saw the too-long warning. Can't find it again, but the related page of the too-long page says it's on the Sandbox, which I thought meant that we already knew that it's too long, but apparently not.

While Characters.Azur Lane Royal Navy hasn't hit the red warning yet, it's still a very large page that's cumbersome to navigate. I would like to split it into multiple pages each of the classes except for Battlecruisers and Monitors to make up room and for convenience sake. That way, there will be much less bloat if many folders are open at once, much like Characters.Azur Lane Eagle Union, Characters.Azur Lane Sakura Empire and Characters.Azur Lane Ironblood.

That's at 276k, so if it doesn't have the warning now, It's getting very close.

Fanfics of 2015–2019 is giving the warning. Since there's an odd number of year folders (unlike when Fanfics of the 2010s was originally split), does anyone have any suggestions as to where it would make the most sense to split the index?

We could just try to resort it again like Fanfics of 2010–2013, Fanfics of 2014–2016, and Fanfics of 2017–2019, that gives a fair 4-3-3 split with the shorter earlier page getting more years... Still, too long already, dang.

Do they all pass our work page tests? A.k.a 3 well-context-ed tropes?

It might just be due to listing the source work with every example, and so, could we split out a "MLP:FiM Fanfics of 2015-2019", for example, and we're good?

I don't think we need this kind of double categorization when there's My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Checking for whether these are actually good enough pages may work, but I don't think it'll accomplish much (I've checked ten of these pages and all of them passed muster).

Konoe Jerry unilaterally moved the tropes of Genshin Impact to five separate pages, citing in their edit reason that the page has become too large which is supported by Amonimus saying it was 327 kilobytes long. Still, I would like to bring this up here to see if the unilateral hard split is ok.

I think that's the only situation where a unilateral hard split is 100% no-need-to-consult-anyone fine, especially because they followed the preexisting folder arrangements. No issue from me; leaving a note here would be "nice but not necessary".

NamesTheSame.Cross Media A To G is triggering the warning. The other two cross-media pages also seem to be getting close, so moving to a four-way split is probably called for.

Looking at some entries, like Diana, which has the cat named after the goddess, it seems too intentional to count, there?

Then there's the generic adjectives, like Darkness and Devastator?

But we're already cross-media and a cleanup / resorting might be a bit too much work?

The pages need cleanup of bad examples altogether. Like, do we need items in which characters merely share a common name?

Zootopia is triggering the size warning. Just noticed when I was checking someone else's edit.

WesternAnimation.Zootopia seems to have a (near?) duplicate of the entire trope-list on-page. Is someone using the actual live page for a scratch space?

I feel like that should be integrated back into the rest of the trope list.

I know we did that intentionally once to see if we could trope pre-release stuff without having to repeatedly specify which trailer things came from, but Zootopia was out way before then.

ShoutOut.Fan Works is throwing the warning. While the Crossover and Other folders could be split into their own pages, in general there are way too many works listed on one page.

Some clean-up could be done?

Since one of the Names The Same Cross-Media pages is overly long, maybe we should reorganize them so they're split into four categories (possibly A - F, G - L, M - R, S - Z).

Names The Same is pending TRS, and a good portion of the existing cross-media pages are given name only and can be safely cut. There's really no point in creating a fourth page.
