- Adorkable: This version of Bonnie is made of it. He is a completely friendly Lovable Nerd who you just want to hug, and him being an adorable-looking bunny animatronic with a cute voice does nothing but help. By the end, you'll root for him and Chica to get toghether.
- Creepy Awesome: Mangle shows that being mangled into a mutilated mess won't stop her and, in fact, it makes her a formidable, threatening foe when she goes on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge against Chica and uses her new potential to the fullest, from climbing on the ceiling to using her now exposed metal claws. However, when she isn't being a Creepy Awesome villain, she instead is...
- Creepy Cute: After Chica..."makes her name make sense", Mangle goes from fully attractive and cute to this. Yes she is now a mutilated mess of wires and broken body parts who knows how to get real threatening, but her sympathetic situation and ultimately good nature, the fact that her face (save for a missing eye) and her voice are the same as before and the way she just looks small and precious bungled up in the blanket she covers her mangled body with; you just want to give the girl a hug!
- Evil Is Cool: Springtrap is a conniving mastermind who, having been consumed by vengefulness over his deceased partner, Fredbear, proves himself a great threat in spite of being just a crazy guy stuck in a warehouse thanks to manipulation, opportunism and sheer vengeful determination.
- Moe: Bonnie went from arguably the creepiest of the original 5 animatronics, with even creator Scott Cawthon having had nightmares of him, to the single most adorable character in the series, as he's a kind, meek and cute-looking bunny animatronic who radiates dangerous amounts of Adorkableness.
- Moral Event Horizon: Springtrap goes from admittedly tragic to completely irredeemable when he goes through with painfully transferring Mangle's consciousness into Fredbear even after she forgave him, reminding him of when a little girl he had accidentally hurt in his days as an entertainer forgave him the same way. In that moment, Springtrap proves that his thirst for revenge has completely destroyed all of the good that used to be in Spring Bonnie.
- Narm:
- The animation, which was somewhat stilted in the earlier episodes and, on the opposite end, later became a bit Off-Model in various scenes, could make it hard for some to take some of the more serious scenes seriously.
- Tony made the absolute right call by not having Foxy Talk Like a Pirate, as that would have made serious scenes with him completely laughable. However, even the thick New York accent he has in this version leads to some slightly questionable line delivery. The worst example of this is in part 14, when Foxy calling out for Mangle sounds less like a lover desperately trying to find his soulmate and more like a New Yorker being upset that they got his pizza wrong.Foxy: Mangle! Come on, don't do this to us! Where are you?!
- Springtrap has a pretty prominent jaw and lower lip in this version, which can lead to various facial expressions that are a bit goofy coming from the menacing evil mastermind of the series.
- Narm Charm: This is a Furry, Draco in Leather Pants, Romantic drama take on Five Nights at Freddy's (you know, the "Evil animatronics possessed by dead kids want you dead" game) and, adding to the ridiculousness of the very concept, in the execution department, the animation and sound design can make some scenes rather cheesy, especially early in the series. That being said, this animation still has a warm spot in the hearts of many for the sheer nostalgic value that it has, especially with the original games having had a Nostalgia-driven researgence as of late, as well as the characters being mostly likeable and charming, the animation still being pretty good for an indipendent work and the series actually having a surprisingly strong emotional core in many scenes.
- Nausea Fuel: Springtrap here may not have any crazy Serial Killer inside him, but that doesn't mean we won't have the pleasure of seeing him covered in rotting flesh all over, with very squishy sound design, especially as his pet cockroach dives in... Mangle's disgusted reaction is fully called for.
- Nightmare Retardant: Fredbear, the threatening Big Bad, just so happens to have...bright pink light coming out his eye sockets...
- Signature Scene: Mangle and Foxy falling in love and kissing in the first episode is both the very first scene of the whole series and the most iconic.
