- Celebrity Voice Actor:
- Jim Gaffigan as Wally's dad.
- Ben Schwartz as Skydasher Steve.
- "Weird Al" Yankovic as Wizard Jeff.
- Children Voicing Children: Wally, Gina, Libby, Bobgoblin, and Ogre Doug were all voiced by children.
- Crossdressing Voices: Aria Capria as Bobgoblin.
- Cross-Regional Voice Acting: While the series uses mostly New York based voice talent, all the guest stars are from L.A. as well as Alanna Ubach as Mrs. Trollman and Matt L Jones as Zack the Gnome.
- Descended Creator: Blathertash, Grab Crab, and Mumble Monkey are all voiced by Adam Peltzman, the creator of the series.
- Died During Production: J.R. Horne, who voiced Stan Of The Swamp, died on January 14, 2016 due to complications from an operation.
- In Memoriam: The episode "The Bathmobile" was dedicated in the memory of J.R. Horne.
- Non-Singing Voice: Tony Bennett was Bobgoblin's singing voice for a brief gag in the Christmas Episode.
- Only So Many Canadian Actors: In this case, it's more like Only So Many New York Actors. The show uses the typical NYC talent pool for Nick Jr. shows, sharing talent with Dora and Friends: Into the City! and Bubble Guppies in particular. This also allowed a few well-known Muppet Performers to play bit parts on the show, such as Stephanie D'Abruzzo and Tyler Bunch.
- The Other Darrin: Following the death of JR Horne, Stan of the Swamp was recast with Bob Ari. Aaron Phillips is Mr. Trollman in “Power Tie” instead of Jim Gaffigan.
- Production Posse: A few of Adam Peltzman's associates from The Backyardigans, Odd Squad, and the Nickelodeon-produced seasons of Winx Club also worked on this show.
- Screwed by the Network: After being treated very nicely for a few years, Wallykazam was kicked off the Nickelodeon block, banished to the 24/7 Nick Jr. channel to air its remaining episodes, and was shown at extremely awkward time slots. It was later quietly canceled in 2017.
