- The Other Darrin:
- The Japanese version:
- Taiten Kusunoki succeeded the late Unshō Ishizuka as Heihachi.
- Hōchū Ōtsuka takes over from Kanehira Yamamoto as Paul.
- The English version:
- Kaiji Tang succeeds both Patrick Seitz and Brad Swaile as Jin, who dubbed him in Tekken: Blood Vengeance and Street Fighter X Tekken respectively.
- S. Hiroshi Watanabe replaces Jamieson Price as Heihachi.
- Jeannie Tirado takes over from Stephanie Sheh as Julia.
- Erika Harlacher takes over from Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Nina.
- Faye Mata replaces Carrie Keranen (Blood Vengeance) and Carrie Savage (SFxT) as Xiaoyu.
- Todd Haberkorn takes over from Chris Rackabaugh as Hwoarang.
- Krizz Kaliko fills in for Dave Fennoy as Leroy.
- Earl Baylon replaces Paul St. Peter as Ganryu.
- The Japanese version:
- Production Foreshadowing: Following the trailer shown at the Game Awards, many Tekken fans have taken this show as a reminder of Jun Kazama's role in the series before she was revealed to be returning to the canon storyline in Tekken 8.
- Role Reprise: The Japanese cast meanwhile has most of the characters' original voice actors return (Heihachi notwithstanding, of course):
- Isshin Chiba as Jin.
- Mamiko Noto as Jun.
- Masanori Shinohara as Kazuya.
- Maaya Sakamoto as Xiaoyu.
- Seiko Yoshida as Julia (who she previously voiced in SFxT)
- Hidenari Ugaki as Ganryu.
- Perhaps most notably, Toshiyuki Morikawa and Yumi Touma return to voice Hwoarang and Nina respectively, neither having voiced those characters since Tekken 4 and Tekken Tag Tournament respectively.
- The English version meanwhile has Jamieson Price return as Paul, having voiced the character since Tekken 6 and is the only voice actor from the English side to actually reprise a role he did prior.
- Translation Correction: A rather curious one done in the Latin American Spanish dub: While other versions, English one included, refers to Hwoarang's mentor with the Japanese term "sensei", the dub uses the Korean equivalent "Sabum-nim"note instead.
- Troubled Production: Production started as far back before the COVID-19 Pandemic happened, long enough that Erika Harlacher was originally confused before confirming her role.
- You Sound Familiar: Prior to voicing Jin here, Kaiji Tang provided the English-speaking voice of Lee Chaolan in Tag 2 and Tekken: Blood Vengeance.
