"Nothing looks better than friends together!"

Pinkie Cooper and the Jet Set Pets was a short-lived fashion doll line based on anthropomorphic dogs created by Carter Bryant along with his sister Anjanette Abell, and released by The Bridge Direct (now known as Basic Fun). The line combined the themes of fashion play, dogs, and traveling. The main characters—Pinkie, Pepper, and Ginger—are based on cocker spaniels, specifically Bryant's sister's real cocker spaniel of the same name. The three girls are free-traveling young ladies who, along with their puppy pets, like to go around the world looking for new fashions and styles.

The characters also had their own webseries on YouTube that lasted seven episodes.

The toys may be known by many people from to a Darker and Edgier Fan Works graphic novel based on the doll line, Pinky and Pepper Forever, which was made in May 2018 with Pinky Cooper and Pepper Parson as the protagonists.

Pinkie Cooper and the Jet Set Tropes!

  • Alliterative Name: Pepper Parson.
  • Big Applesauce: Pepper is from New York City and is a DJ, and the series and line are set in New York City.
  • Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: Pinkie is blonde, Pepper is brunette, and Ginger—of course—is the redhead.
  • Character Catchphrase: Each of the girls have their own fashion mantras.
    • "Dress to Express!" for Pinkie.
    • "A smile is the best accessory!" for Ginger.
    • "Don't be afraid to break the rules!" for Pepper.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience:
    • Pink for Pinkie.
    • Purple for Ginger.
    • Blue for Pepper.
  • Dumbass DJ: Downplayed with Pepper. She is excitable and the boldest one of the group, but she isn't mean in any way.
  • Ears as Hair: The characters' "ears" are rooted pop-out ponytails on the side of the head.
  • Eyes Always Shut: The main character's pups tend to have their eyes closed.
  • The Fashionista: All of them are this given the focus of the line on fashion and travel, but Pinkie especially takes the cake.
  • Flyover Country: ZigZagged. While Pinkie is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Pepper is from New York City and Ginger from Los Angeles.
  • Funny Animals: Like a lot of doll lines that have human(oid) characters, this one features furry dogs.
  • Fun with Acronyms: Pinkie attends the World of Original Fashion academy—or W.O.O.F.
  • Furry Confusion: Although the trio are anthropomorphic dogs, they… also have pet dogs themselves.
  • Genki Girl: Pinkie and Pepper accentuate their personalities like this.
  • Hairstyle Inertia: Averted. The dolls had pop-in ponytails that let them change their hair; these came in the additional fashion packs.
  • The Nose Knows: Lil' Pinkie, Pinkie's puppy, can sense any fashion faux pas with her nose.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: The three main characters have the full names Penelope (Pinkie), Gabriela (Ginger), and Patricia (Pepper). They never use these names in the line.
  • Pink Is Feminine: Pink is Pinkie's signature color and she is a huge fan of fashion.
  • Power Trio: Pinkie, Ginger, and Pepper.
  • Punny Name: Pepper's pup is named Saltine.
  • Protagonist Title: The line is named after Pinkie Cooper. Also loosely ties to Protagonist and Friends, in that it's followed by "and the Jet-Set Pets."
  • Short-Runners: The line only lasted from 2013 to 2014 with only one major release of items at the start.
  • Telepathy: Sprinkles, Ginger's puppy, can read her owner's mind.
  • We Named the Monkey "Jack": Pinkie's puppy is named Lil' Pinkie.
