- Harsher in Hindsight: This article before the launch of the brand asks, "will little girls fall in love with Pinkie Cooper like they did with Bratz?" Answer: No. The brand only lasted a year before being pulled from shelves.
- Vindicated by History: The line, initially touted as another chance to break past the dominance of Barbie (the same way the creator's other line, Bratz did) but only lasted a year. The line was largely ignored among a glut of fashion dolls of the time with only the characters being dogs as anything that made them stand out—and at worst, they were considered ugly, with the only mention on This Very Wiki a now deleted entry on Nightmare Fuel. Nowadays, it's consider probably one of the best anthro-style fashion dolls with a creative premise, in part due to a Colbert Bump from the fan comic Pinky and Pepper Forever.
