- Ragna questions why Ben didn't name Eyeguy something cooler like "Gazer Beam".

- Grandpa Max's latest recipe involves a Facehugger. In-universe the Alien series was directed by an alien who wanted to warn Earth about them.
Terror in Tremorton
- Ben references Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann when he sees Jenny's hair drills and later creates a giant drill in the style of the show while merged with Jenny as Upgrade.
In the Day of: Tsubaki
- We're introduced to P'li, Dasheng, Vipresss, Qrow, Ma'antis, and Razorclaw who are all Expies of Po and the Furious Five.
Despair's Attempt Part 2
- Makoto declares she's Ret-2-go after changing into her sparring outfit.
Despair's Attempt Part 4
- One of the Monokumas yells at Ben for killing Kenny after he smashes a Junk Monokuma.
- Immediately afterwards it quotes Billy from Saw, something Ben lampshades.
Reprise of Forever
- When Azmuth is explaining about Steel's species, Makoto asks if the Elementors were Steels that went maverick.
Dog Daze
- Max Steel compares the Training from Hell Jubei put Ragna through to Ranma ½.
Underground Reunions
- The guardian for Undertown is an alien that looks like a moia, likes gum, and calls Mukoto a dumdum frequently.
The Treasure Sniper
- When Kokonoe shows up with Tager's disembodied head, Steel asks if she pulled a Futurama.
- When Tsukasa first appears he recreates The Frantics "Last Will and Tempermant" sketch, giving everyone in the general area a boot to the head.
Max's Monster
- When Ben sees Noel carrying Bolverk in railgun mode alongside Funkfreed, he gets the feeling she needs a talking snail on her shoulder to complete the look.
Of Trolls and Yokai
- Lambda decides to refer to Pirate Ben as Benjack Sparrow.
- Parrot! Skurd mentions that before Pirate Ben's crew got transported to Sir Benjamin's world they were on their way to meet up with the Pirate Captain for Ham Night.
- Pirate Ben mentions how, in his world, pirates are split between Peace Mains and Morganeers.
Steampunk Cowboys
- Makoto compares the abilities of the Eon they're fighting to Voporak.
Stray Dog Strut
- The entire chapter is one of Cowboy Bebop's second episode, complete with an altered Welsh Corgi with a German number for a name.
Nyx in the Night
- Kajun mentions the idea of naming a red panda Sody Pop.
Monster Planet
- Makoto once smashed a group of Billy Billions' robots with a road roller while saying "wry".
- When using a 3D printer to make the team disguises for Anur Transyl, Makoto decides to give the team Mandalorian armor.
Growing Chaos
- When Charmcaster is trying to get Ben's help with getting back the something from Ghost Freak (the Alpha Rune, but she can remember that due to a Tap on the Head), Ben decides to refer to it as a Goober.
- When looking through the massive number of doors in Zs'Skayr's castle, Noel, Sam, and Makoto end up recreating the doors bit from Courage the Cowardly Dog. After opening a third door Noel mentions she felt like Columbo should have been behind it for some reason.
- Hobble gives out a shout of "Finland".
10 Brains Later
- The main protagonist of the Vendread archetype from Yu-Gi-Oh! shows up here named Vendread.
Sidestory
Going Ghost II: Corridium Chaos
- A trio of bungling Ectonurites called the Spooky Sibling are introduced and their straight-up Captain Ersatz of the Boo Brothers. They even mention they'd have used that name if it wasn't copyrighted.
Summer Camp Fun
- After knocking out a bear trying to attack Bluey, Lambda puts a green tie and hat on it and considers teaching it to steal picnic baskets instead of hunting.
Christmas OVA 2: Winter Hijinks
- Celica gives Argit an Inazuma Kick for trying to steal her present.
- Blukic and Driba are worrying that they'll get in trouble with Kajun for betting on the snowball fight, before deciding it's only if she finds out and that "if" is good.
Ultimate Hunt
- The Ultimates (minus Humungosaur due to his Heroic Sacrifice) have all been developing their own personalities. Simon and Rotwood (the ultimate Spidermonkey and Swampfire) have become Expies of Winston and Rolf respectively.
