The second episode of the second season of Celebrity Deathmatch, also known as Battle of the Boys with Toys.

This episode consists of three pre-determined fights. The first undercard fight features Ice Cube and Ice-T deciding who is the coolest rapper. The second undercard fight sees Al Pacino and Robert De Niro vying for tough guy supremacy. The third fight and main event features the Backstreet Boys and the Beastie Boys testing out some new robotics.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Ass Shove:
    • In a fashion. The Beastie Boys grab Marlon Brando from the audience and stuff him into the exhaust pipe of the Backstreet Boys' robot, causing them to choke on the fumes that start filling the control booth.
    • It's implied that Ice Cube was about to threaten this to Ice-T before being silenced with an icicle to the mouth.
  • Attack the Mouth: Ice T throws an icicle into Ice Cube's mouth at one point during the fight.
  • Blind People Wear Sunglasses: When taking on the persona of his role in Scent of a Woman, Pacino dons a pair of sunglasses.
  • The Cameo: This episode features appearances from Vanilla Ice, Marlon Brando, and Mahow.
  • Car Fu: Vanilla Ice uses the Zamboni vehicle to crush Ice T against the side of the ring.
  • Chewing the Scenery: Lampshaded when Johnny is calling the fight line-up for Pacino and De Niro.
  • Curse Cut Short: Ice-T throws an icicle into Ice Cube's mouth, before he can finish his Ass Shove threat.
  • Danger — Thin Ice: The ring for the first fight is converted into an ice rink. After being kicked to the floor, Ice Cube actually breaks the surface layer of ice and falls through into the water below.
  • Death from Above: The ice column containing the frozen body of Ice Cube slips from the crane holding it and crushes Vanilla Ice, while also freeing Ice Cube from the column unscathed.
  • Energy Weapon: The Beastie Boys' robot comes equipped with a laser cannon, which they use to shoot Howie D through the face.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Marlon Brando is a guest referee for the fight with Pacino and De Niro. The two are constantly attacking each other and Marlon sees no issue, however he asks Mahow to rein Pacino in because he's "being very vulgar".
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: De Niro starts off with a head full of hair. The moment he switches to his persona from Taxi Driver, he is seen shaving his hair into the iconic mohawk from the film.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Marlon Brando isn't deterred from eating an éclair despite it having a live snail on it.
  • Failures on Ice: As soon as the fight starts, and after the initial trash talking has finished, both Ice Cube and Ice T repeatedly slip and fall.
  • Gasshole: Marlon Brando seems to have a chronic case wherein he is usually seen farting or burping.
  • Grievous Harm with a Body: Given that he was notable for his short stature, Mahow is picked up and used as a weapon by both Pacino and De Niro.
  • Harmless Freezing: Ice Cube is frozen in a column of ice after he slips beneath the ice rink surface. After his frozen form is dropped and shatters, Ice Cube emerges unscathed, though confused as to why his clothes are wet.
  • Hates Being Touched: Mahow enters the announcer's booth to give Nick and Johnny a catering list for Marlon Brando's dressing room, before breaking out into dance. Johnny starts to tickle him behind the ear, causing Mahow to bite into Johnny's finger in response.
  • Head Crushing: Pacino's head is smashed to pieces after De Niro starts attacking him using Mahow as a weapon.
  • Hold Up Your Score: After Ice-T kicks Ice Cube to the ground, Johnny asks Nick how he'd rate the attack. Nick holds up a score card of 9.7 points.
  • Humongous Mecha: Both the Backstreet Boys and the Beastie Boys fight in giant robotic machines that they each control from within.
  • On Ice: The whole gimmick for the fight between Ice Cube and Ice T.
  • Macross Missile Massacre: The Backstreet Boys' robot comes equipped with a rocket launcher, which they use in retaliation following the death of Howie D. Of all the missiles they fire, only one of them hits their intended target.
  • Parrot Exposition: Invoked when the Backstreet Boys try to hype each other up before the fight, AJ ends up repeating Brian, much to his annoyance.
    • Done again moments before they die too, with each of the surviving band members uttering one final line...and AJ again ends up repeating what Brian says.
  • Rocket Punch: The Beastie Boys fire their robot's claw into the control booth of the Backstreet Boys' robot, crushing the remaining members.
  • Screw the War, We're Partying: Shortly after the bell, the Beastie Boys are more interested in the music and lights that they can enjoy in their robot's control booth, than actually starting the fight.
  • Slippy-Slidey Ice World: For the first match, the traditional ring is swapped out in favor of an ice rink-style ring. The ropes are frozen solid, and the canvass is actually a sheet of ice atop a body of water. Both fighters are required to wear ice skates during the fight.
  • Torso with a View: Howie D is shot in the face with the Beastie Boys robot's laser cannon, resulting in this once the other Backstreet Boys realize that they were hit.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: Vanilla Ice only wears a pair of green pants when driving the Zamboni vehicle into the arena.
  • You Talkin' to Me?: Considering that Celebrity Deathmatch is a show that heavily relies on pop-culture references, it's inevitable that De Niro would say his signature line from Taxi Driver at least once during the fight.
