Steven Ernest Bernard Zaillian (born January 30, 1953) is an American screenwriter, producer, and director of Armenian descent best known for working in the realm of Thrillers, Biopics and the Epic Movie.
He won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for Schindler's List and has received a further three nominations in that category, plus a nomination for Best Original Screenplay for Gangs of New York.
