Daybit and his Servants

    Daybit Sem Void
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/daybitsemvoid_full_2.png
Terminal of the Dark Star
Daybit enrolled in the Clock Tower's Department of Lore and was later expelled. Daybit joined Chaldea Security Organization, he became one of the forty eight Chaldea Master Candidates and a member of Team A. Daybit planned to summon a Berserker-class Servant.Daybit is said to be an extraordinary person, that's why he will not try to understand anyone, nor will he ever be understood. The reason why the Servant assigned to him was Berserker was because there were no expectations of communication from the very beginning.
  • Beyond the Impossible: His first appearance has him reaching the last floor of Sanctuary's Vault unnoticed while sealing artifacts that might be too dangerous to the world or universe to prevent Sanctuary from using them. It is clearly stated to be impossible.

    Beowulf (Old)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/beowulf_old_7.png
Grand Berserker
Beowulf, the famous Proto-Hero of the Anglo-Saxon world. While he would normally be summoned in his Golden Age as a Hero, it is also possible to summon him in his Golden Age as a King. While when he is summoned at a younger age, he enjoys greater fame because he is more known as a hero than as a king, his Mystery is mainly linked to his history with Grendel. This version of him, on the other hand, gets a Mystery Bonus from his entire life (even the stories about him which have been lost, although weaker because they are not known to humanity). In this regard, it can be said that this version of him is superior.

Some of his Skills are:

Mad Enhancement: A

The very True Name of this hero is receiving the influence of the work Berserker. The etymology of Berserker - one of the Servant Classes - is the berserk from Norse mythology, and it has been told that Beowulf's name also has its origins in this berserk. He possesses reason, and it is also possible to have a high grade conversation with him.The Rank is considerably increased compared to his younger self thanks to the Mystery Bonus of his life as a whole. However, he - who accomplished the feat of dragon slayer while retaining his reason even after having aged - does not display even a fragment of madness. Simply, he is constantly in a state where he wants to fight in the same way as his younger self, but his wisdom as a King allows him to hide it well.

Berserk: A

A composite Skill of the Valour Skill and Madness Enhancement Skill, nullifying mental interference such as intimidation, confusion and fascination, and increasing the damage dealt in hand-to-hand combat. Simultaneously, when using this Skill, Beowulf turns into a beast that fights with his instincts

And his main Noble Phantasms is:

Nameless Sword of the Giants: A+

His Noble Phantasm is a sword forged by Giants and is both large and heavy that even Beowulf struggles to lift it. Yet it is able to cleave through the Grendel's Mother in one swing, something that Hrunting could not do and his own fists were incapable of harming either. While the blade melted away like ice the hilt remained. He usually keeps it sealed, and can only exploit its full potential for one hit, at the end of which it will disappear. In its sealed state, this sword is the equivalent of a Rank C+ Noble Phantasm.

Unfortunately, the episodes of Beowulf – with the exception of the episodes of Grendel’s extermination and the dragon’s extermination that still remains – has been lost, but there is no doubt that these episodes became the source of numerous legends scattered throughout the world.

Thanks to the Bonus granted by the Mystery of his entire life, the enhancement of his Mad Enhancement, his unique Berserk Skill, the link of his name with the word Berserker, access to his best Noble Phantasm and the fact to be a Proto-Hero, he is a Grand Berserker Candidate, but not the best.

  • Cool Old Guy: He is an old man and, but also a Grand Servant, no less.
    Tezcatlipoca
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/s371_stage1.png
Most Powerful Deity on Earth within the Aztec World
The most powerful deity on Earth within the Aztec world.

He presides over battle and magecraft, beauty and discord, night and governance, storms and plagues, crimes and rules, fortune both fair and foul, natural laws and clashes between people, and thus, the lively motions brought forth by such things clashing.

Oh, grand Moyocoyani, dreadful Ilhuicahua Tlalticpaque.

Thy name is Tezcatlipoca.

The incarnation of the black Sun, who reflects all creation.

The impression known around the world is that of a wicked, grotesque god, or a cruel, bloodthirsty, capricious, and evil god in the shape of a jaguar.

However, in the original texts, he was the incarnation of power, a magnificent god in the form of a clever young man who aids the people in constructing a place in which to live, where they can achieve their full potential.

――― But still, there is the incident in which he shapeshifted into an attractive woman to ensnare Minister Huemac of the Toltec, as well as the legends of him transforming into an old man or a spider to trap Quetzalcoatl.

As he was defined as the omnipotent deity on Earth within the Aztec world, his existence is, in a certain sense of the word, a mixture between Odin of the Norselands, Zeus of Greece, the Buddhist Demon King of the Sixth Heaven (Mara), and the Satan of Christianity (Lucifer).

These gods (devils) are all peerless existences in the physical world, but in the more spiritual world of destiny, they are not so unrivalled, and are similar in that they are all limited despite their omnipotence.

In Japan, where he is preceded by name alone, there are surprisingly few mythological accounts of Tezcatlipoca.

There is no human-like nature like there is in Greek mythology, nor is there even a trace of "the subsequent human society" like in Japanese mythology.

Tezcatlipoca appears to instead be a systemic existence, like a god who can… exist in any location on this world, cause strife, and then decide the outcome of these conflicts.

However, the standards for determining these outcomes are unclear, and Tezcatlipoca himself doesn't seem to take part in the decision-making. He just rolls the dice.

This is similar to the fact that, in many myths, gods of destiny cannot control fate itself by their own will.

He will give aid to any who recognise his power, but to test the extent of his own power, he will sometimes impose trials so severe that an ordinary person may even think themselves lucky if they die.

On the other hand, in order to give those who desire power the chance to challenge him, he will at times walk into the dark of the night unescorted, and it is said that whosoever challenges Tezcatlipoca at that time and wins will receive his supreme support.

――― On top of that, when he did so, he would go out dressed like a king, wearing extravagant war garb that would ensure anyone who saw him would understand he was Tezcatlipoca, and if challenged to a fight, he would fight unarmed, attaining victory or defeat through wrestling. And Tezcatlipoca (no matter his personality at the time) would never break a promise.

The cold-blooded and ruthless god of war, who will never heed the opinions of others, Black Tezcatlipoca.

The god of both flame and the future, who will speak as an equal to any who have the will to fight, Red Tezcatlipoca.

The god of paradise, who safeguards the city, approves of rest, and has a great fondness for teasing Quetzalcoatl, Blue Tezcatlipoca.

He's an unmanageable deity whose three courses of action change without any particular reason.

Diplomatic and active.

A perfectionist, and also somewhat sarcastic. Naturally belligerent.

He has a habit of chattering (narrating), and of advising others of what they need (or what they lack) while chatting.

Harsh towards other people. Tolerant of himself (or better said, his nature changes on the spot, so he can't be harsh on himself).

He is a pessimist at his core, so he makes the atmosphere heavy wherever he goes, and his inherent lack of luck (which invites even more difficult situations) earns him the treatment of a god of death.

His disposition is heartless and cruel, but his talkative side makes it easy for him to like (and be liked by) people.

"The worst comes first. Endure it, then win the second round.

Good things await on the other side. Well, after some deductions, it'll only be a little, but still."

He is a terrible personality who is always searching for the seeds of war, which he will look forward to watching as they grow and sprout.

His way of being seems like that of an arms dealer, who seeks to incite a war that would happen either way, and so delivers weapons to two city-states.

He has no malice in doing so, for to Tezcatlipoca's perspective, the struggle for existence itself is order… a good that brings stability to the world.

He is fond of the wars from the 19th through 21st centuries, and appreciates modern weaponry (personal weapons) as "nice toys".

(He also acknowledges the defeat of the Aztec Empire at the guns of the Conquistadors.)

However, he has no talent in using them. At the end of the day, he ends up fighting with savage axes, jaguarised claws, and supernatural phenomena as his weapons. He gets very hurt when people point this out to him.

"Well now, I don't hate the Japanese. You guys are just horribly indirect. 'If you do what you like, you'll be good at it'? Is there any other expression nearly as cruel?"

Others

    Kishua Zelretch Schweinorg
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ce34.png
Wizard Marshall
  • All-Powerful Bystander: He at his peak defeated Crimson Moon Brunestud and even in his current weakened state is among the most powerful beings in existence. But he cannot get involved in the Sanctuary universe directly because all the universes on this "tree" (those of Pokemon and Digimons for example are on another "tree") have certain events that they must all follow in order to maintain uniformity, and if he intervenes directly, then the dangerous irregularities in the Sanctuary universe will become a fact in all universes. In addition, if he acts recklessly, "it could block the wordline, making this universe a false story and another wasted line" according to her words.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: He is the narrator in Tales of the SanctuaryVerse, speaking directly to the reader.
  • Character Narrator: He is the narrator in Tales of the SanctuaryVerse.
  • Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: Yes, he defeated Crimson Moon in the past.
  • Dissonant Serenity: He faces an Arceus - literally an avatar of the Creator God of Multiple Names of the Omniverse - quite irritated that he observed the universe of Sanctuary, and who is quite annoyed not to understand everything he says. Instead of being rightly intimidated, he stays perfectly calm and even sighs at one point while continuing to explain.
  • Troll: Not to the extent Fanon likes to describe him, but when Arceus walks up to him, she overhears him thinking aloud about the Sanctuary universe. While at first he just seems to be speaking for himself, he ends up asking Arceus what she thinks. Later, after some explanation, he comes back to his original question about what she thinks about it.
    The Chaldean
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chaldean_1.png
Man of Chaldea
With his hood

A mysterious man appeared in front of Foreign Lux shortly before the confrontation of the Sanctuary against him and predicted his defeat. His identity is unknown, but his words imply that he is Goetia and Solomon also thinks it.

  • Ambiguously Human: He looks like a human, but he's supposed to be a Beast, specifically Goetia.
  • Covered with Scars: His left arm is covered in scars, for some reason.
  • Redheads Are Uncool: So uncool in fact that the Sanctuary immediately think of how to defeat him as soon as they hear about him. Justified since he's probably Goetia.
  • Seers: He perfectly predicted what would happen to Foreign Lux.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: His eyes are golden, unlike the eyes associated with his face. Note, this is the color of Solomon's eyes.
  • The Archmage: Whoever he really is, he is an incredibly powerful mage, capable of blocking the attack of a Beast (not yet mature, but still) with absolute ease and without the slightest effort.
  • The Dreaded: At the very least, Solomon certainly thinks so of him (if he is indeed Goetia).
    • "Solomon: Being extremely careful. He is very dangerous."
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: He gives Foreign Lux a vicious one when they meet..
    • "Man of Chaldea: I came to see what you did with Pandora's Box with my own eyes, but it seems my concerns were misplaced. You have put your hands on something beyond your control, your plans are doomed to failure.
    • Foreign Lux: Hmph, the plan is already nearing completion, it's too late for the Sanctuary to change anything.
    • Man of Chaldea: That's right. In my opinion, the Sanctuary has no chance of winning against you, they will indeed arrive too late to make a difference. But if there were other factors, the story would be different. As someone who was once in your shoes and said the same words as you, I would simply ask that you die with grace and dignity. But we both know you're incapable of it."

Sharout and his girlfriends

    Sharout
An ordinary young man who sometimes shows up at the Sanctuary, always accompanied by one of his girlfriends. He has no superhuman skills, presenting himself as a normal person but apparently accustomed to the supernatural.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He almost not appear in the main story, and yet it is the death of his alternate version that leads Mash Alter and Artoria Caster Alter to join the Genesis Sect.
  • The Faceless: His appearance is never described, all that is known is that he is a young man.
    Artoria Caster

Child of Prophecy
Artoria Avalon
Proto-Summer Clothes
Casual/Summer Clothes
Swimsuit
"Bunny Maid"
Summer Artoria Avalon
New Year Clothes
The Child of Prophecy that shall save the Faerie Kingdom.

A special faerie that was dispatched from the Inner Sea of the Planet, Avalon, to the surface, along with the Staff of Selection. After drifting into the Lake District, she was placed on a boat along with many treasures by the decision of the Chief of the Mirror Clan, eventually reaching the coast of Tintagel and being raised as a faerie of Tintagel from then on.

In the Lostbelt, she is the same being as the "someone" who was eventually burdened with the Holy Sword in Proper Human History. Also, she is an "accumulation device" sent to collect information on the surface, in order to produce the Holy Sword - a decisive weapon against the "threat to the planet".

A splendidly pure and energetic girl.

A sore loser who is strong in face of adversity (she stands up even if something unpleasant happens). She hides her true feelings without telling anyone due to taking the surrounding mood into consideration - just like any ordinary young girl.Spending her time doing nothing but studying magecraft, she is a practical researcher who runs around the fields just like a young boy.The protagonist of the story who lives up to the expectations of the surrounding people and departs on a journey to save Britain as the Child of Prophecy.

...that is her outwards personality and disposition. The Artoria from Proper Human History had an open-ended personality, but the Artoria from the Lostbelt is not that strong. In the inside, she is a pessimist with an extremely frail and timid disposition. In her heart, she lets out a sigh while thinking that both herself as a "Child of Prophecy" and the surrounding people that self-destruct as they place their expectations on such a thing are foolish.(It is not like she has burned out or is looking down on them. She is merely feeling heavy).

Still, since she is mindful about the surrounding mood, Artoria does not reveal those inner aspects of herself and instead ends up keeping up with the appearances by saying "ok, leave it to me!" and behaving exactly as the surroundings expect. All because she doesn't want to have a quarrel with anyone and doesn't want to hate anyone.A hard-working commoner who is bad at the essentials, makes a lot of blunders, and stumbles all over her path. Her only merit is the fact she is quick to get up after a fall.As such, her stock phrase is "Sorry for being weak. I will work hard, I will work hard."Her inner monologue at times like these is something like "I'm scared of fighting.Mutual hate is tiresome. I'm much happier living normally."Although she is constantly finding faults in herself in this manner, one can say that the very fact that her personality - which worries about the surroundings, without falling to evil nor forgetting about decorum - does not waver, no matter what sort of harsh circumstances or cruel treatment she faces, serves as proof that she is an aristocrat. The definite difference between her and Oberon is that one point.

During the journey of pilgrimage, while the motivation of the fake Child of Prophecy was "I'm scared, but I'll work hard because I want to help everyone", the motivation of the true Child of Prophecy was "I'm scared, but saying such a thing would make everyone disappointed, so I have no choice but to work hard".

She kept hiding a negative mental state in which "everyone is scary, society is disgusting and I can't keep my motivation up even if you tell me to save the world. But since going against the surroundings is also unpleasant, I'll work hard as a saviour". Although that ended up becoming a noble deed in the eyes of others, "the same way of being as King Arthur", Artoria Caster's inner aspects are awfully abject, pessimistic and negative. As such, she is always finding faults in herself."I was able to persevere this time, but most likely, next time, I will probably end up giving up on everything..."

If the Faerie Kingdom is a fairy tale pictured by Morgan, the journey of pilgrimage is a fairy tale describing Artoria's growth.Despite appearing to fill the same role as Dorothy - the protagonist of "The Wizard of Oz" - she actually possesses a weakness akin to an aggregation of the scarecrow that can't walk properly (can't see his own feet, has no wits), the woodcutter with a hollow heart, and the lion that doesn't want to display courage. Why was this Artoria able to remain as the Child of Prophecy to the very end? What was she fighting for ?That answer becomes the end of her story.

  • Alternate Self: She is not the alternate version of the Sanctuary, but the canon version, taken straight from Fate/Grand Order.
  • Ambiguous Situation: It is unclear if she is the Artoria Caster straight from Avalon, Artoria Avalon (the Servant version of Artoria Caster), or a fusion of the two. Either way, if it's the first, she seems to have all of Artoria Avalon's memories (and probably all of Artoria Avalon's abilities as well).
  • Cool and Unusual Punishment: When she and Sharout go to eat at Magical Coffee in Autumn, Sharout finds himself transformed into a bronzed copy of her due to the magic that infuses the food (chocolate ice cream in this case). She herself is unaffected thanks to her Magic Resistance. But her Avalon personality, which acts as a separate entity for the summer, blames her for not being careful and not noticing this magic, and makes her wear her "Bunny Maid" outfit as long as Sharout stays transformed as punishment. It's more "Cool" for Sharout though, since she herself is quite mortified to wear these clothes in public (in the cafe, with the implication that it bothers her less when it's only Sharout and her).
"ArCas: Ah ! I know I wasn't being careful, but do you really have to make me wear this outfit in public as punishment ? I knew it, the Avalon me is really a demon after all. [...] "So you will stay in this outfit as long as Sharout stays like this" ? Mmh, it's hard, Avalon me."
  • Infinity +1 Sword: One of her Noble Phantasms, Hopewell Camelot, bombards the opponent with 12 Excaliburs.
  • Split Personality: As in FGO, in her summer state, her "Caster" personality and her "Avalon" personality are two different beings. Or is it the original Artoria Caster and Artoria Avalon sharing one body ?
  • The Chosen One: As the second Avalon le Fae, destined to forge Excalibur for correct the faeries' sins, she's that.
    Mash Kyrielight
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mashu_kyrielite.png
Shielder

Diplomatic, timid, and active. A girl poor at expressing emotions. Mash’s life experience is scarce, but she has a large amount of knowledge. Since she is taciturn, and moreover, has an efficient and cool manner and speech, Mash happens to closely fit into the adjective of ‘as if she is like a doll’~ or some such. Still, Mash herself is very much an ordinary girl, someone who is intellectually brimming with curiosity and active, simply a little taciturn, and whose theatrical elocution is just amusing.

Outgoing: Mash reliably greets others by herself. She conversates with companions and seeks their opinions.Timid: A timid person who appears to be pulling herself together. It is always scary for Mash to fight. But she still does her best.An Active Dynamic: Mash appears to be mild-mannered before coming forth to someone without hesitation. The cause of her being seen as an eccentric young girl is from this characteristic.

After becoming a Servant, Mash idolizes Sharout as her Senpai, and she will become the Sharout’s power, she will be useful for Sharout, and she will do her best. It seems that said person is more than happy with those above anything else. Mash does not use “!” very much, firmly saying instead “Master, instructions!” or “Senpai, please!” before combat, and those are the expressions of her request & reliance called “Please help the weak me!” Her outward appearance tends to be seen as a cool battle heroine, but her core part is the exact opposite. No matter how much she gets used to doing battle, it is scary for her, and she wants to be calm during combat as much as she can if possible. Mash’s components are summarized into qualities such as “a serious and obedient honours student”, “a Kouhai who treats her Senpai with respect. It is not known whether or not that is her way of seeing love though”, and “(misunderstood as) just a slightly eccentric young girl”.

The form that Mash Kyrielight takes after a possession union with a Servant is called a Demi-Servant.

Mash has obtained the True Name of the Heroic Spirit possessing her.The name of that knight is Galahad. One of the Knights of the Round Table from Arthurian Legends. The saint who was the only one to obtain the Holy Grail, just to return it to heavens.Chaldea had success in summoning Heroic Spirits with its own original method, but what lies at its foundation is the "place where heroes assemble" - the shield held by Mash, which made use of the Round Table and became the catalyst for summoning Galahad.

After passing over seven singularities and overcoming many battles, she grew up as a single fully-fledged human, a Servant that is not merely a borrowed article.

Mash’s mental structure has been viewed as being similar to a chick that had just been born. Pure, and without being aware of the things to be suspicious of, Mash merely acts for the sake of the things she believes in. (Her human-like mental structure and its contradictions continue to grow throughout her journey).

Her perfect, eggplant-colored body is soft, yet durable enough to tank any attack. She may look like an innocent kouhai, but her mind can be quite filthy.

    Artoria Pendragon (Lily)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/artoria_l.png
Knight Princess
Casual Clothes

The figure of Artoria from after she drew out the sword of selection Caliburn and first started walking down the path of a king.A girl-knight who is still somewhat unpolished. Her figure is like that of a lovely lily, and her eyes are filled with glittering hope. While wandering around all over the country to accumulate experience, she left behind many adventure stories. It seems that those she saved praised her flamboyance as a knight-princess.

A romantic knight who practices daily in order to become the ideal king.Although still inexperienced, her girlishness has not yet been wiped away and her heart is filled with hopes and dreams. Her party during the tour around the country was composed of her step-brother, Sir Kay, and the attendant magus Merlin. It started with Artoria's meddling, became out of hand with Merlin's chaffing, and finally Kay ending up covering for everybody.

A child of destiny born to save the Isle of Britain, which was headed towards ruin with the fading of mystery. An "incarnation of the dragon" created by the previous king Uther and the magus Merlin. Because of this, she is likened to the red dragon that protects Britain.Possessing the heart of a dragon, which belongs to the top ranks of the Phantasm species, the amount of magical energy she can generate inside her body overwhelms other Heroic Spirits.

Caliburn and Excalibur are two different holy swords. In a sense, Caliburn was prepared for the sake of rearing King Arthur as a king, a member of royalty.Originally, Caliburn was meant for ceremonial use.If it is employed in battle as a weapon and its True Name is released, firepower on the same scale as Excalibur will be displayed, but its blade will probably be unable to withstand Artoria's magical energy and break.

  • Badass Adorable: She is extremely cute, but be careful not to underestimate her, as she still Artoria Pendragon, with the same power she had at her peak in her life.
  • Composite Character: She is basically a fusion between Artoria Lily and Vanilla Artoria Saber. She has the appearance and personality of Artoria Lily, as well as access to Caliburn, but the ranks of her adult version in her settings and their Skills in common, as well as access to Excalibur and Avalon. The only thing she lacks is Charisma, which Lily doesn't have, but that's made up for with the Skill Journey of the Flowers (EX Rank).
  • Good Wears White: She wears a mostly white outfit, recalling her innocence
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She is blonde, and has no negative aspects to her, only pure kindness.
  • Nice Girl: Probably one of the kindest, most innocent and cute characters in the entire Sanctuaryverse.
  • The Chosen One: She can wield Caliburn and Excalibur.
    Aesc

The Savior
Formal Outfit (Imagine her with blue eyes)
Casual Clothes
Bunny Girl

A dream from her younger days. The story of the witch from the land of rain, who loved gentle and peaceful tales. Despite being a faerie, the girl devised numerous forms of self-taught magecraft. Despite being a queen, the girl loved adventuring through the prairies. The initial form of the savior who would come to meet many a fate, pushback, and betrayals.

The Avalon le Fae from when she intermediated the incessant wars between Clans, saved the tormented Lower Fae, and gained renown in Britain. That was when she adopted the name Aesc because she started being called "Savior" instead of "Witch". It was a cherished name given to her by her foster mother... the queen of the land of rain... and she didn't want to use it while she was being perceived as the bad guy.

While deep inside she was burning with fury and hatred over the destruction of Orkney, she did an splendid job as the savior by suppressing the negative emotions with her innate sense of fairness and justice and her unwavering character. After becoming living hope for the weaker fae and the enslaved humans, Aesc went around suppressing conflicts in every land, until she eventually formed the Round Table, mediated the feud between Faerie Clans, helped with construction of the human capital Londinium, then finally unified Britain and prepared to welcome its first king.

Her personality is strict when she needs to be, and gentle when she needs to calm people down. She is the same Aesc that guided Mash, but slightly more aggressive than she was back then. Think of it as a middle ground between the Rain Witch and the Savior. She fervently swears her actions are righteous, and can never forgive betrayal from anyone, including her own heart.

Morgan was the Avalon le Fae sent by the Paradise Avalon to right Britain's wrongs. Still as a baby, she drifted away from Paradise to the northernmost part of Britain.

Orkney was the land governed by the Rain Clan, and while the Rain Clan feared how the Avalon le Fae's appearance would expose their sins, they took pity on how she was still just a baby and chose to protect her from the other Clans. Due to Orkney being in the northernmost corner of the map, it was poorer than the other Clans and didn't prosper much, but conversely, it was a calmer and more peaceful land. The giant World Tree at the tip of the world towered over Orkney and it rained there for most of the year.

The queen of the Rain Clan raised the girl as her own daughter, ultimately naming her Aesc, the same name as the World Tree. The "daughter" treatment wasn't meant to lure the girl to her side. The goal was to fill her with the fond memories and knowledge she'd need in her eventual journey as the Avalon le Fae. Despite being aware of her mission, she was impressed by the kind hearts of the Rain Clan and grew into a tender-hearted woman.

The young girl's favorite place was her secluded study. The gray sky visible from the window. The gentle sound of the raindrops. In this vast collection of books, she searched for an alternative solution to save the fae from their agonizing sin—not by ending Britain but by starting Britain anew.

Like a child sitting on a desk reading fairy tales, she dreamed of the "ideal nation" inside that gloomy but warm study.

However, on the girl's 16th birthday, Orkney fell to ruin. In fear of being condemned by the Avalon le Fae, the other Clans formed an alliance and invaded Orkney. The Rain Clan was slaughtered, Orkney was covered in flames, and the sheltered Avalon le Fae was discovered and executed. The "Avalon le Fae" they captured on this occasion was the Rain Queen's real daughter, and said daughter volunteered herself as the Avalon le Fae out of concern for Morgan's future.

After surviving due to the Rain Clan's final act of resistance, Morgan swallowed her hatred for the other Clans, parted ways with the ruined land of Orkney, and headed to mainland Britain as the Faerie of Salvation in order to make the Rain Clan's wish come true... To make Britain into a peaceful land with no conflict...

While traversing through mainland Britain, the sadness of losing Orkney made her into a sulking, dead-eyed delinquent."I hate all fae outside the Rain Clan. I'll do what it takes to free Britain from conflict, but I don't really want the fae to be happy. If they want my help, it's going to cost higher than their lives.", she posed like an evil witch out of a fairy tale.

Following her millennia of traveling, she grew out of her evil witch phase by finding a clear goal and more friends she could trust. And that was a weight off her shoulders since her bad-guy act was pretty forced.

That's the end of the story of Aesc the Witch. Next is the story of the Savior.

  • Big Damn Heroes: She is summoned against Castoria Alter for the final fight against her. After all, who better than a Morgan to bring down an Artoria ?
  • Kung-Fu Wizard: It's subtle, but even though she is a mage, at one point she fights Gudao/Izmia in a sword duel so that he gets used to his/her new sword and its powers.
  • The Archmage: She may be younger, but she's still Lostbelt Morgan. And she apparently has access to her older self's abilities too, since she used her magical reconstructions of Rhongomyniad against Artoria Caster Alter.
  • The Chosen One: The Original Avalon le Fae, destined to correct the faeries' sins and forge Excalibur.

A true blood daughter of Uther as well, like Artoria. What's more, she was not a human but the spawn of the island of Britain itself, just as Vortigern was. Morgan kept this a secret and was raised as a human, and she would have inherited the throne from Uther—until Artoria was born.

At her childhood she was the perfect loving sister to Artoria... But then Alaya decided that Morgan should be one of her pawns (alongside Artoria and Merlin) to push the human order forward...

Because she is the spawn of the island of Britain itself, as king chosen to be the King of Britain, she was bestowed with a mysterious power, a black primeval cursed energy native to Britain.

Little Dark Fairy Princess. So innocent yet so mighty. Unaware of the darkness before her. Morgan Lily falls with the same category as Saber Lily, both whom that didn't possessed the memories of their future self, so their young and fresh, innocent and precious. Sir Kay described her as "Innocent as a Fairy".

A member of Faerie Britain's Knights of the Round Table.A Fae Knight who assumed the name of the Saint Graph of Lancelot who belongs to Proper Human History's Knights of the Round Table. The only kind of "dragon" faerie in Britain. She behaves like a merciless warrior, but she is said to be the most proud and beautiful faerie in the Faerie Kingdom because of her conduct, elegance, and appearance that sets her apart from the other faeries.

"Mélusine is not my real name either. But, it's a very important name."

Introverted and Active. She is an activist who keeps her feelings to herself, but does what needs to be done quickly. A maiden knight who is always tense and has no play due to her fastidiousness.

Classifying humans as evil, and rejecting them mercilessly, thus she is often thought of as a cruel faerie; though she shuns humans, she does not hate them, and does not look down on them. She simply regards them as lifeforms with low "viability as an individual".She does not discriminate against others on the basis of their natural ecology, due in part to the circumstances in which Mélusine herself materialized.

When acting as a faerie knight, she uses the first person "I ( 僕 , boku, male pronoun)", and behaves like a prince, however when she returns to her original self as Mélusine, her first person becomes "I ( 私 , watashi, somewhat formal/feminine pronoun)" and her natural personality emerges. She was originally abandoned and alone, so consequently she became lonely and self-deprecating as a result.

She is aware that she is the strongest living being, so her likes and dislikes are not based on the criteria of whether something is strong or weak. This is because everyone is weak compared to her. What Mélusine likes is not those with the courage to confront something stronger than themselves, but those with the kindness to care for something weaker than themselves.Rather, she’ll state “Obey the strong. Absolutely. In other words, obey me.” while spoiling them.

  • Alternate Self: She is not the alternate version of the Sanctuary, but the canon version, taken straight from Fate/Grand Order.
  • Really 700 Years Old: She is 400 years old. If we take into account her previous identity as Albion, it goes up to 4.6 billion years.
  • Time Abyss: As Albion, she is 4.6 billion years old, making she as old, if not older, than the Earth.
  • Ultimate Life Form: Normal dragons are stated in FGO to have a powerful enough breath weapon to warp space-time. Albion is the most powerful dragon, the equivalent of a Grand Servant among dragons.

Embodiment of the Root
With bunny ears
White Outfit
A distinguished individual that normally cannot be encountered. However - if you are to meet her,It would be on a snowy day, when everyone is asleep.

The embodiment of 「 」 that represents the beginning. All existence originates from 「 」 and follows 「 」.

A deeper level of consciousness, created fromShiki Ryougi’s dual personality.

A female personality, in her late twenties. A calm and understanding older sister.

The Shiki who grew until the late twenties and has begun to give out maternal charm.

One may get the feeling that she’s detached from worldly affairs, but actually, she simply has no sense of crisis, as everything is like “part of Shiki's dream”; for her, everything is taken in as “a view across the glass”.

The image of “A goddess who descended on Earth through some sort of mistake”.

An oriental goddess rather than a western goddess. Though her aspect is close to the Merciful Bodhisattva, her underlying personality is that of a meanie. One could say she is an Impish Bodhisattva.

She denies the view of human nature as fundamentally good. “Since humanity at its core is evil, things tends to turn out for the worse” while sighing, “So please do your best, ok?” cheering mankind’s stubborn endurance with a supportive smile, for that is her stance in the matter. Truly troublesome.

Gentle and yet uninterested. An invincible "older sister" character. Even while being omniscient, she enjoys meaningless chatter over meaningful dialogues. She may seem like a very womanly individual, but her true nature is that of a girl.

  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Being the embodiment of the Root, she has no human morals. In essence, she only does what amuses her.
  • Infinity +1 Sword: From her FGO profile, "That long sword of hers can kill anything.".
  • Story-Breaker Power: She is omniscient and omnipotent, being the embodiment of the Root of the Omniverse. She could fix all the problems in Sanctuary in 5 minutes if she wanted to. However, due to her general apathy, she won't.
  • The Omnipotent: Being the embodiment of the Root, she is omnipotent.
  • The Omniscient: Being the embodiment of the Root, she is omniscient.
  • World's Strongest Man: She is ranked, in the Top 10 most powerful characters in the Sanctuaryverse, in 3rd place, only after ORT (who sleeps) and Arcueid/Archetype: Earth at full power (who is usually limited to 30% of her power).

Princess of the True Ancestors
New Year Clothes

Her name is Archetype: Earth, a being known as the 'Original One' in the world of magecraft.

A sheltered princess who snuck out to get here!

Natural opulence accompanied by pure white innocence. The funny vamp that goes well with the sun has come to celebrate !

Introverted, positive and passive. This princess of the True Ancestors has yet to experience the outer world. While her human-like emotions remain scarce, they are assuredly beginning to develop. Having been raised as a princess, she isn't particularly eager to speak to the common folk. The insolent are treated with no mercy (as she has not learnt conversation etiquette) but she's not too aggressive. Graceful in speech and conduct, her consideration for others, slight though it may be, is evident. She despises how the surface is, but the truth is she just doesn't really understand human culture.

Elemental royalty are known as the True Ancestors. As their Princess, she may not have any special abilities, but boasts high specs in every aspect. Simple is best. Unlike Dead Apostles who were once human, True Ancestors are endowed with their predetermined abilities from birth, and are unable to improve them through the sucking of blood. Even amongst unworldly True Ancestors, her abilities are top class. A mediocre vampire has no chance of defeating her.

However, being a True Ancestor is synonymous with being unable to restrain their craving for blood. She uses her immense power, 70% of it, to seal her own vampiric urges.

In addition to matching her performance to the enemy, she is also skilled at mental interference with her Mystic Eyes as well as reconstructing the world with Marble Phantasm.

Her immunity to the sun and the ability to regenerate are both functions that occur naturally to her. She views battle as a 'competition to create, combine and control different elements'.

  • Alternate Self: She is not the alternate version of the Sanctuary, but the canon version, taken straight from Fate/Grand Order.
  • Ultimate Life Form: She was created by the True Ancestors with no other purpose than to be the most powerful of their kind, and is Archetype: Earth.
  • World's Strongest Man: She is Archetype: Earth and as such, one of the most powerful characters in the Sanctuaryverse, with only ORT most powerful than her.

Reaper of Akihabara
New Year Clothes
Harem Dancer Outfit

Set place in the near future during the aftermath of the Holy Grail Wars in the land of Japan. A young girl of 14 years old working at the Nightwatch in Mosaic City (Akihabara) who has come to be feared as a "Grim Reaper" for her grisly work that entails hunting down servants.

In a future timeline different from that of the one Chaldea walks, she throws herself into the Holy Grail War with the final servant summoned into the world "Voyager". However, even she has no idea what the result of this was. From a young age she has been possessed by evil spirits she calls "Dread Spirits", one result of this is the spirit appearing on the surface of her body as some sort of sticky black sludge like matter. To adapt to the worsening effects of the possession she named it "Demon King (Erlkönig)" allowing her to control it at will. Furthermore, though she may be able to sense the death and bloodthirst at a superhuman level, the evil spirits within are in a constant state of hunger for sacrifices and if that hunger is not satisfied they will consume Erice's body.

Being very attached to the importance of efficiency in all things, Erice prefers practical, functional, and durable items, tools, and clothing. As for food, she likes to eat things that are spicy and with high nutritional value while not being too concerned about the flavor. She has a hate for magicians, though she uses magic as well… anyway on to something else….Erice is quite well versed in Western and Eastern Heroic Spirits of modern and ancient times due to her spending a large chunk of her free time pouring over materials relating to them. Through this she uses her vast knowledge coldy dealing with Heroic Spirits as the Grim Reaper, and at the same time holding deep respect towards the life they once led.

Her fashion sense and taste for things are based on her teacher.

  • Older Than They Look: She has her base charadesign (14 years old), but the years since she was in Chaldea are counted towards her age (making her between 17 and a half and 18 years old when introduced).
