Camila Carraro Mendes (born June 29, 1994) is an American actress and singer. Mendes is best known for her film and television roles, most notably playing Veronica Lodge in Riverdale, a Teen Drama adaptation of the Archie Comics.
She is Brazilian-American and speaks Portuguese. While in the past applying for Latina roles, she'd been turned down on the grounds of not "looking Latina" enough, and has criticized this discrimination.
