Main protagonists
Anne

The princess of Mysteria and a magical prodigy. Despite her high status, Anne treats everyone equally and sees her time at Mysteria Academy as a way to becoming a queen who can truly understand her future subjects.- Ambiguously Lesbian: She's the more openly flirty between her and Grea, frequently commenting on how beautiful Grea is and at one point even teasing Grea with a love potion.
- Berserk Button: Hurting Grea in any way, as the Golem in Episode 5 found out before being terminated with extreme prejudice.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: She's actually quite clingy at times toward Grea. She tends to sulk anytime she can't be together with Grea (like when Grea has to focus on studying for an exam) and gets very jealous when she thinks that Grea let another girl into her room.
- Destructive Savior: Anne's magic is extremely powerful, but Anne has no sense of restraint. Whenever she uses her magic to "fix" a problem, she usually ends up causing more damage than whatever she was fighting.
- Lonely at the Top: She's both a princess and the top student at the academy, which means that while people like her they tend to be too intimidated by her status to get close to her. Grea is one of the few people she can really open up to.
- Royals Who Actually Do Something: Her biggest goal is to become this, and she wants to start by getting to know the people of Mysteria.
- Summon Magic: Anne can summon a gigantic centaur familiar, described in other Cygames properties to be a heroic spirit of Mysteria's past.
- Tareme Eyes: Her eyes rounded despite her ironically being the more fiery one between her and Grea.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: She's afraid of water since she can't swim, and so she's hesitant when it comes to a class trip to the beach. Averted in Episode 2, when Anne jumps into a lake without a second thought while trying to find a cure for Grea's illness.
Grea
Voiced by: Ayaka Fukuhara (Japanese), Avery Smithhart (English)
A half-dragon who is the princess of the nation of dragons. She is feared by many due to her incredible power, but Grea is simply a lonely, kindhearted girl who wishes for a place to belong.- Ambiguously Lesbian: Grea is very clearly smitten with Anne. She blushes almost nonstop whenever Anne gives her attention, and her tail even perks up like a dog's.
- Because You Were Nice to Me: Anne was the first person to show Grea genuine kindness and acceptance instead of fearing her for her half-dragon heritage, and Grea is utterly devoted to Anne as a result.
- Cute Monster Girl: She looks like a human girl with horns, wings and a tail.
- Luminescent Blush: Does this an awful lot, usually when Anne is around.
- Nice Girl: Very kind-hearted and caring.
- Rapid Hair Growth: Her hair grows from rather short to almost waist-length after she molts in Episode 2. She cuts her hair back to the way it was before Episode 3, however.
- Sexy Backless Outfit: Her school uniform has an opening in the back for her wings to poke through, leaving a good chunk of her back exposed.
- Shrinking Violet: When she isn't with Anne, she typically keeps to herself.
- Tsurime Eyes: Has these, though she's definitely more on the tareme end of things personality-wise.
- Winged Humanoid: Although small, they seem functional.

Owen

A knight of Mysteria who acts as Anne's loyal bodyguard. He wishes for Anne's happiness above all else.- Undying Loyalty: To Anne, to the point where he's more than willing to help her sneak out of the castle in Episode 10.
Hanna

Mysteria Academy's student council president and an honor student. She's serious but has a passionate streak. Lou
Voiced by: Kimiko Koyama (Japanese), Hilary Haag (English)
A freshman at Mysteria Academy who is usually seen tripping over herself.- Butt-Monkey: She's almost always tripping over something or running headfirst into something else.
- Never Bareheaded: She always wears her fluffy purple hat. She even wears it to the beach!
- Verbal Tic: Ends her sentences with a very pronounced desu.
Poppy

A member of the Student Council as well as Hanna's roommate. William

An upperclassman who is also part of the Student Council. Miranda

An eccentric professor at Mysteria Academy.- Cosplay Otaku Girl: Her "second job" is running a clothing shop that sells a variety of cosplay outfits, which she makes herself. She's very excited at the prospect of getting Anne and Grea to try on some of her creations.
- Hot Teacher: She's very attractive and dresses quite provocatively for a teacher.
