- The Hero: The main hero of the series.
- Large Ham: As much as any self-respecting shonen hero should be, and then some.
- Named After Somebody Famous: Gets his name from
Ken Starr. - Pointless Bandaid: Has one on his nose.
- Stock Footage: Most of the time he's portrayed using the exact same frame of animation, and always with the same expression on his face.
Yusuke
- Voiced by: Tomamoto (Joshua Tomar)
- Attack! Attack! Attack!: His usual strategy is to attack head-on. It never works.
- Berserk Button: Calling "hot dogs" hamburgers. Galacticamaru learned this the hard way.
- Butt-Monkey: The only person he ever beats is Galacticamaru.
- Heel–Face Revolving Door: He switches sides twice in three episodes.
- Hot-Blooded: He has a pretty fiery temper.
- The Lancer: Of the heroes.
- The Mole:
A pretty obvious one for Galacticamaru. It doesn't last, though. - Not So Harmless: Yusuke getting defeated effortlessly becomes a running gag, but then again he is the one who knocks out Galacticamaru with a single punch.
- Shonen Hair: His hairstyle.
- The Rival: To Kenstar.
- The Worf Effect: At one point, he loses to stairs.
Kotomaru
- Voiced by: Egoraptor (Arin Hanson)
- Hong Kong Dub: Easily the biggest offender. His lip flaps don't even try to sync with his voice.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Capable of destroying a WHOOOLE kitchen.
- Not So Stoic: Getting called out on his constant shooting of people in Episode 3 finally has him Freak Out.
- Stoic Spectacles
- Trigger-Happy: Come episode 3, when he can't stop shooting things.Kotobaru-san-sama: "Dude. Just because you have a gun-"
Kotomaru: "I DON'T CARE! OKAY!? I'M OUT OF BULLETS ANYWAY!" - Verbal Tic: "Huh."
Green Guy
- Voiced by: Tomamoto (Joshua Tomar)
- Action Bomb: This is main (and according to Kotobaru) only ability. Unfortunately, doing so kills him.
- Heroic Sacrifice: But then he gets brought back through sloppy editting.
- No Name Given: He is never given a name. So, "Green Guy" is just a Fan Nickname.
- Required Secondary Powers: Guy has the ability to explode like a bomb. However, he can't reform his body, meaning this kills him... until he gets brought back through sloppy editting.
Kotobaru-san-sama
- Voiced by: Egoraptor (Arin Hanson)
- Amazing Technicolor Population: He's blue.
- Non-Action Guy: Despite how played up he is in the first episode, he's the only person in the party (aside from Girl-chan) to not do anything at all the whole series.
Girl-chan
- Voiced by: Rina-Chan (Kira Buckland)
- Flat Character: Even compared to the rest of the cast. All we know is that she loves Yusuke, doesn't like Swirly Glasses, and has huge boobs.
- Ms. Fanservice: Parodied.
- The Smurfette Principle: The only girl in the group.
- Supporting Protagonist: Despite her name being right in the title, she doesn't do anything and only makes a handful of appearances.
Swirly Glasses
- Voiced by: Egoraptor (Arin Hanson)
- Evil All Along: In the last episode he is revealed to be one of the main villains.
- Expy: Seems to be one of Mandark. For an anime example, he's also similar to Umino/Melvin from Sailor Moon.
- The Mole: For Galacticamaru.
- Opaque Nerd Glasses: He wears this kind of glasses, emphasizing his nerdish looks. They even give him his nickname.
Galacticamaru
- Voiced by: Tomamoto (Joshua Tomar)
- Big Bad: The main villain of the series.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Supposedly, even though his first onscreen "fight" has him lose to Yusuke.
