Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

@AzureLegacy[tup] for the new Hall of Religious Structure.

I think the Hall of Depravity should be deleted. I have a couple of reasons for this, namely that the hall itself has a small number of deities, making it somewhat obsolete and the term depravity isn't exactly about hatred but more about evil and the theme and meaning of the word are already covered in the Hall of Cruelty and Sadism. Maybe we've said this before, but I think the deities there should be moved to other Halls.

Namely, Hajun could go in Acts of Hatred (as well as probably a title change to Widespread Hatred Inducers), Palpatine under Villainous Powers, Thouzer under Contempt, William Stryker under Categorism, and the Four Libertines under Cruelty and Sadism.

Going back on my last proposal list, I want to address whether Yoon Ji-Woo could be approved for You Killed My Father or if another idea, namely Inigo Montoya would work. I should note that there are two [tup]s (RadioRavenRide and AzureLegacy) and one [tdown] (Shinobi who feels that Inigo Montoya would work better), though I feel that Montoya has a better chance at being in the Pantheon in general with other available tropes for like My Name Is Inigo Montoya and Dashing Hispanic, both of whom he also gets high mileage out of.

Similarly, with nothing said about Sven, indicating a lack of interest, would it be safe to delete his account unless someone expresses an interest in preserving/reworking his provide under Herd-Hitting Attack?

Finally, despite having come up with the idea, I am not going to be working on merging Ra and Horus into a group profile for Non-Human Head. Anyone interested in them or Egyptian Myth is more than happy to take up the idea and do the idea as far as I am concerned.

The Metal duo again with a few additions. Also the Freddy Krueger connection was inspired by an interesting comparison in this video essay.

Tomoo and Yatsu, Unholy duo of Mechanical Transformations(Tomoo: The Salaryman, Yatsu: The Metal Fetishist)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tetsuo_salaryman.jpg
Tomoo (fully transformed)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yatsu_giving_flower.jpg
Yatsu
  • Potential House(s): Cybernetics and Enhancements, Transformations
  • Intermediate Gods(can evolve into Greater Gods through assimilation)
  • Symbol: Their combined form, a massive, Phallic metal...thing
  • Alignment: Tomoo: True Neutral(eventually Chaotic Good) Yatsu: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Both: Moody gray shading, Bizarre Imagery and Narrative, Nightmarish Mutations into Machinery, Bizarre Superpowers over Metal,Cybernetics Eat Your Soul, Can be interpreted as a ''really'' weird love story, Phallic Symbolism, Alternate Continuity
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: Both: The Child Abuse Supporters, Darryl Revok, The Enchantress
  • Special Relationship: Each other(brothers in one timeline)
  • Intrigued by:(Yatsu) The Thing, Sadako Yamamura,Tomie Kawakami
  • Rivals:(Yatsu)The Borg Collective
  • Of Interest to:The SCP Foundation
  • Pitied by: Meilin Lee(mostly Tomoo)
  • The story of the "Iron Men" begins with an average Japanese Salaryman and his girlfriend. One day, the unassuming businessman was driving home with his girlfriend until they accidentally ran over a pedestrian. This pedestrian, however, was the man known as "the Metal Fetishist" so called for his unusual fixation on metal applied to his body. The couple, unaware of this, believed the man dead, hid his body, and tried to move past their dark deed. But the Salaryman had received a curse or perhaps gift from the Fetishist. The man's body slowly began taking on the properties of metal, his mind plagued with horrific visions of a cybernetic nightmare. Eventually the Salaryman's transformation led to his girlfriend's death, and the Metal madman himself arrived to complete the transformation as part of his mad desire to share his agony with his victim. The two engaged in a brutal battle of metal and flesh, eventually combining into a monstrosity that sought to rust away the world with their newfound "love".
  • At least that's how one version of the story goes. Another account tells of a salaryman named Tomoo, who led an ordinary life with a loving wife and child, but had no memory of his past. That life was shattered when Yatsu, AKA the Metal Fetishist, targeted him for his depraved plans. Tomoo's young son was murdered, and he plunged into despair, awakening the metal-morphing powers he shared with Yatsu-actually his brother. Tomoo went on a brutal rampage against Yatsu's cult to save his wife, and soon discovered the truth of his past. The boys' father was a metal molding maniac as well, experimenting on his children to create human weapons. With this awful revelation, Tomoo succumbed to his brother's urging and evolved into a massive, tank like juggernaut. Amid the destruction however, it seems Tomoo found peace, as he apparently shifted back to human form with his wife and revived son.
    • Some time later Yatsu resurfaced, this time targeting another Cyborg named Anthony. Yatsu threatened Anthony's son to control him as a new weapon. But the super Cyborg fought the Metal Fetishist and ultimately averted suffering Tomoo's fate, and Yatsu was absorbed by Anthony's own power, gone for good...at least for now.
  • Eventually the Salaryman(Tomoo) was welcomed into the Pantheon gates. He hoped to find a nice place to settle down and put his metal nightmare behind him. Unfortunately there was a reason he was there, and the other inductee surfaced shortly after. Initially disoriented, the Metal Fetishist soon set to work seeking new metal to absorb and fuse with for power and pleasure. Tomoo was filled with terror as he realized his brother was coming for him. Yatsu seeks to expand his love of chaos and transform the Pantheon into his twisted view of beauty, and he wants to be one with Tomoo to do it.
  • Applies to Both:
    • Although they outwardly appear to human, both Yatsu and Tomoo will morph into horrifying machine monsters under stress, leaving unpredictable devastation where they go. Tomoo has tried to seek help for this, leading to him joining a "support group" of sorts with similar individuals like Dr. Bruce Banner and the Lycanthrope Larry Talbot. Banner knows well the trauma of being a walking weapon, and he's shared Tomoo some techniques to tame his anger. Yatsu, meanwhile, seeks to unleash the full extent of his power and enjoys the company of like-minded monsters, especially of the mechanical variety. One such is the Android psychopath Ultron, whose desire to replace humanity with cybernetic extensions of himself earned him the Metal Fetishist's respect. By chance, one of Tomoo's circle is Dr. Hank Pym, Ultron's creator. Pym is as ashamed of his monstrous son as Tomoo is his brother. Both agree their counterparts represent the worst impulses of themselves, and that it's their responsibility to destroy them.
    • A similar duo is the psychic "Scanner" terrorist Darryl Revok and his brother Cameron Vale. Despite his lack of social skills, Vale was interested in Tomoo's condition and believes he's found another ally. Revok, on the other hand, has decided that both Metal men are too dangerous and psychotic to be controlled. He's able to effectively strike Yatsu mentally, but the maniac's biomechanical nature allows him to bounce back quickly. Revok is still planning to destroy the metal monster, and Yatsu sneers at his arrogance.
    • Neither of them are friends to the mysterious mage called "the Enchantress". Tomoo in his case considers her no better then the Metal Fetishist, as she transforms people in karmic ways while also affecting innocent bystanders. Yatsu on the other hand is annoyed by her self-righteousness, as he is quite proudly open about being a destruction loving force of evil. The Enchantress doesn't view them worth her time though, as they're already in frequent psychological and physical agony.
    • If there's one ideal they share, it's that they both loathe abusive parents, especially since in one timeline their father was a selfish monster who turned them into what they are. While Yatsu isn't much better than his dad, he still sees his father in people like Ozai and seeks to destroy everything he built. Tomoo especially has it in for men like Gendo Ikari and Shou Tucker, who used their own children for their own selfish experiments, which in the case of Ikari had truly apocalyptic results. Dr. Gero stands out as the most similar, as while he did care for his son, he still created killing machines both organic and mechanical. Further unnerving Tomoo is that Gero has expressed interest in the two, believing he may have a better chance of studying and harnessing their powers.
    • The SCP Foundation keeps a close watch on the two as they specialize in containing anomalous and especially dangerous beings and phenomena. Tomoo is willing to cooperate if it means helping control his abilities, but Yatsu has given them more trouble. Even worse, he shows a fascination with the various monsters the Foundation contains. Of particular interest is SCP 217, the Clockwork Virus. Yatsu sees it as a lifeform akin to himself and seeks to join it in reformatting the Earth. Thankfully, he's been held at bay for now.
  • Applies To Tomoo:
Freddy: Aw, you're no fun. But your friend? He seems like my kind of guy.
    • In terms of being an unassuming office guy transformed into a strange creature, Gregor Samsa can relate to Tomoo's plight. He's also as devoted to his family as his cyborg counterpart, though perhaps not to the extent Tomoo gets when you threaten his wife and son. Despite Samsa's own horrible situation, Tomoo would say Gregor's father was still better than his own, as at least he didn't intentionally mutate his children.
  • Applies to Yatsu:
    • He's considered an insane abomination even among other world conquerors, if only that his insanity and dangerous powers make him too unpredictable. Besides Ultron, however, a few admire his monstrous ambition. Cell, the aformentioned Dr. Gero's deadliest creation, is on a journey to perfect himself and sees Yatsu's mission of spreading "the beauty of destruction" as similar. The cyborg Kaiju Gigan is generally a weapon for whoever points him somewhere, but Yatsu's technopathy lets him to communicate with the beast on more even footing, promising him new upgrades and places to destroy. Hank Henshaw, the hopelessly misanthropic Cyborg Superman, joins with Yatsu in the belief a fellow cybernetic entity can help bring an end to his tortured existence and destroy the world that spawned them. He's also caught the attention of SKYNET, who's thrilled at the prospect of creating man-machine hybrid Terminators with the Fetishist's unique powers. The evil AI assigned the shape-shifting T-1000 as a diplomat. A similarly sociopathic machine called AM(Allied Mastercomputer) has admitted it's impressed that a young human could transcend into a being that rivals itself in power and malice. Yatsu has experience as a cult leader, and preaches a new world of machines where organics are slaves and fuel, every evil automaton's dream.
    • One group that shares his beliefs is the bionically enhanced race known as the Cybermen. The Cybermen have battled to create a technological dystopia across different timelines, and Yatsu has offered to aid them in their crusade. Although he can't assume command from the Cyber Controller, Yatsu is happy to provide new hosts to the cyberization process. Another race, the similarly cybernetic Borg, isn't happy with Yatsu's ambitious, wild card personality. The Collective has decided to exterminate his individuality, a feat easier said than done, and Yatsu has vowed to have the collective answer to him.
    • Because of his metal-manipulating abilities, any descent person with this power deems him a disgusting monstrosity. Even mutant revolutionary Magneto, who generally dislikes humanity, believes Yatsu is a rabid dog who needs to be put down, much to the latter's disappointment, as he thinks Magneto could've been a great partner. Toph Bei Fong, hailing from a world where people can manipulate elements, has stated he's an insult to Benders everywhere. None of this really bothers the Metal Fetishist, as he thinks sooner or later, they'll all be absorbed into his glorious metal and succumb to his twisted vision.
    • Unsurprisingly,

Droopy draft. Looking for interaction suggestions for this dog who has plenty of trickery and smarts beneath that droll exterior of his, and has done detective work among other professions.

Hello, all you happy people.

Droopy, God of Those Who Cannot be Rid Of (Happy Hound)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/droopy_1836.jpg
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A sign that says “I'm So Happy”
  • Theme Music: His opening; Droopy, Master Detective opening theme
  • Portfolio: Big Ball of Violence, Comically Invincible Hero, Talking Animal, The Stoic, Deadpan Snarker, Creepy Monotone, Crazy-Prepared, Flat Joy, Perpetual Frowner
  • Domains: Dogs, Trickery, Emotion
  • Herald: His son Dripple
  • Allies: Screwy Squirrel, Huckleberry Hound, Goofy, Snoopy, Courage the Cowardly Dog
  • Enemies: Yosemite Sam, Judge Doom
  • Commonality Connection with: Cecil Turtle
  • Other Relations: Tom & Jerry
  • With a name like Droopy and a disinterested face like his, it’s easy for bad guys to assume that Droopy is an easy schmuck to take care of. Beneath that exterior of his, there is a dog who doesn’t go down without a fight and has plenty of tricks to use to his advantage. One notable quirk is being able to show up right in front of the villain’s face moments after the baddies have believed themselves to be rid of Droopy. He’s also very strong for someone his size and will go for directly attacking the villains if they do something to truly incur his wrath. Despite his lackadaisical looks, Droopy has a good heart and is willing to lend a paw in taking down whoever is causing problems for others.
  • Droopy was minding his own business one day when he received an invitation for a party that promised excitement far greater than anything he could have imagined. He didn’t have much of a reaction to what the invitation promised, but he still went anyway, likely out of curiosity. Droopy eventually arrived at a high-rise on the highest floor and met the figure who sent him the invitation and was promptly locked in a high-security vault by the person in question. Whoever sent Droopy the invite really didn’t like him, but a few seconds after locking the vault, the person ended up seeing Droopy looking none worse for the wear right in front of them and the baddie ended up being shocked at that sight. The villain thought to themselves that there was no way someone with a look and attitude like that could easily teleport out of that inescapable room after checking and proceeded not only to throw Droopy back in, but to physically take the room and throw it far away from their sight. That did nothing to stop Droopy and it got to a point where no matter how much the baddie tried to flee him, Droopy was always right in front of them and they ended up being driven insane from what had transpired. It turned out that the person who sent the invitations was a wanted criminal and Droopy ended up getting the award money from it. While he was thinking about a nice place to relax after what happened, he openly showed and said that he was happy about what he got.
  • He has managed to find some good company in Screwy Squirrel thanks to the latter’s manic attitude being a good foil to Droopy’s droll demeanor whenever they’re together. It helps that Screwy prefers directly tormenting his adversaries while Droopy relies on his wits to achieve victory (though the dog has taken a direct approach when pushed far enough). When it comes to Tom and Jerry, things are quite interesting regarding the duo and Droopy. While he is merely a bystander to their mischief for the most part, he has gotten involved in some of their capers, such as defeating Tom and Jerry in a surfing competition with the help of a double and applying for a lifeguard position at a swimming area with Jerry making sure Tom didn’t get that job. Furthering the whole bit of Droopy being a straight man to the wacky Screwy Squirrel, the former doesn’t actively get involved with Tom and Jerry’s battles with each other while Screwy sometimes tries to get involved and throw in his own brand of chaos regardless of what side he’s on (with Droopy providing a quip or two that depends on the aftermath of such mayhem).
  • At a glance, both Droopy and Cecil Turtle share a lethargic exterior and are willing to use it as part of their tricks to trip up their adversaries, mainly by showing up after their foes think they’ve gotten rid of the problem. Unlike Droopy, Cecil has a bit of a nastier streak in him and it was enough for the dog to see a bit of a darker version of himself in that turtle. Cecil has taken advantage of the similarities between themselves in an attempt to try and get Droopy to work with him on tricking anyone they come across, but Droopy hasn’t accepted any of the turtle’s offers. While things have been very slowly building up to a battle of wits between the two with Droopy picking up on Cecil’s tricks, the turtle hasn’t given up on getting Droopy to work with him.

  • Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck (when he is in his screwy mode) are tricksters and really good at outwitting their enemies. Pepé Le Pew is just a straight up stalker you can't get rid of if he's got his eye on you.
  • Droopy tried to get his face fixed once with botox and it went poorly with his frown turning into a Slasher Smile. He sued the clinic that did this and asked Harvey Birdman with his case.
  • Sam Sheepdog is also a dog, who is witty and good at his job as a sheep guard dog. He's also enemies with a wolf, Ralph Wolf. But only on their work shift. They are friends otherwise. I would imagine Droopy substituting for Sam for one shift, which didn't end well for Ralph Wolf.

  • Elfo is an elf from Elfwoodnote , who mostly name themselves after a certain trait, then "-o" at the end. He grew tired of the saccharine, always jolly Sugar Bowl of his setting, wanting the grime and cynical edge of the outside world. After a fight with some gnomes and ogres he ended up in Dreamland, where he ran afoul of King Zog who wanted to drain his blood for an elixir of life. He ended up becoming friends with Bean and Luci, and while his hybrid blood meant he couldn't be used to the elixir he helped find a way for it to work. Sadly he ended up dying in a miscommunicationnote  and when Bean chose her mother over him, she proved Evil All Along. Fortunately Elfo found a way back from death, and though it took some time to make up with Bean, they did.
  • Elfo has seen a lot in his life. He's gotten over his crush with Bean, found and lost love, only to eventually settle with the new queen of Dreamland Miri (aka Mop Girl). He discovered that his mother was in fact an ogre queen, Gronda, and learned that trogs were a type of elf. And he's accepted Bean's new mermaid love, Mora. Him and Luci were always going to be heralds to their close friend, and Bean thought it was only a matter of time until they pass the bar to become official deities in the Trope Pantheon. She was hoping both of them would come up, since she wanted to see Luci again, but it was a treat to see Elfo again. Unfortunately this ascension was in part, responding to Melkor's latest scheme to boost his numbers; ascend Queen Dagmar. Elfo came up as a response by Cosmos to this, though he was plenty worthy of the trope without this. Given he's half-elf, his name has been seen as ironic. On another note, he has dealt with Hansel and Gretel before...unfortunately in his universe they were maniacal cannibals more akin to the witch from the original story. Because of this, he's unable to properly trust the original articles even if they were just as horrified to learn what their alternate selves were like.
  • Homer Simpson looked at Elfo at one point and could've sworn that Bart was trying to prank him by wearing an elf costume. Visually there are similarities, even without taking having the same creator into account, though Bart feels he's more closer to a Milhouse than himself; Elfo may be seen as a renegade by the standards of his fellow elves, but note that his crimes include complaining about their overly happy lifestyle, criticizing their candy-based economy, sleeping with the king's daughter, and never returning library books. Him and Bender aren't that impressed by him and regularly rib on his "weenie-ness", yet at the same time they have a fondness for the elf. Maybe it's just down to having experience with friends like him, but that's still a good start to make conversation. Surprisingly enough, Ned Flanders has a decent accord with Elfo. Ned can be overly straight laced and uncool by most metrics, but usually has a good head on his back and when push come to shove can be surprisingly badass if need be. Maybe part of it is that suppressed desire of Ned's to be a teensy bit more wild coming out.
  • Elfo is close friends with Spike the Dragon. Like Elfo, Spike didn't exactly feel like he fit in with his kind, and is a valuable companions with lingering feelings towards another. He was shocked that dragons aren't proven to exist in Elfo's universe, given its blatant comedy fantasy setting. And if he had to be honest, he was expecting an elf to be a bit tougher...no offense to Elfo, mind you. Philip J Fry is another good friend of his, being another Groening protagonist who despite his often foolish behavior has a pretty good heart, and can relate to having a crush like Elfo did. That said, Fry would eventually become an official couple with Leela, it just took about a decade for them to officially start dating. One odd thing they have in common is being involved in a rather embarrassing Stable Time Loop. For Fry, it was botching his Back To The Future moment and becoming his own grandfather. For Elfo, it was shooting his past self by accident in an attempt to find and stop whoever killed him in the past and thus set the road for Queen Dagmar's resurrection. A couple other friends of Elfo are the Cowardly Lion and Dave Lizewski, losers who managed to prove themselves as heroes despite what doubts they or others had of them.
  • He has a surprising number of similarities to Hagrid, of all people. They're close friends of the main character, are hybrids of races with wildly different sizes with the mother being a member of the large race (giants for Hagrid, ogres for Elfo), were mostly raised by their father and have a maternal half-brother that's full the other race. Unlike Hagrid the smaller race's genes are a lot more dominant, which made it a rather shocking reveal for Elfo. And awkward in hindsight since he had been in conflict with his half-brother Junior without even knowing their relation. Don't worry though, they made up. Him and Hagrid don't have that much in common so they aren't too close, but they are affable towards one another since they're usually that to everyone anyway. Elfo is actually close friends with Hermoine due to joining her in her social movement, SPEW. Basically he cannot wrap his hands around the idea that house elves have Happiness in Slavery and joins her in vigorously protesting that status quo. Him and Harry Potter are on decent terms, though they're not as close.
  • Legolas thinks he's a bit closer to a hobbit than anything, something the smaller elf actually thinks works as a comparison. They both became explorers bored of their home town, only to find themselves dealing with greater evil than they imagined. Malekith was embarrassed to see what some elves are like in other universes, spending their days singing song and making candy. The irony is that he probably wished his childhood was half as saccharine as Elfo's, and he proves so different in tone and personality to Elfo's kind that is scares him. Shrek was surprised to learn that he was half-ogre, and thinks that he's a pretty good lad. Elfo was quite interested to learn about his story and his friends, as they come from a similar kind of irreverent parody of fantasy tropes. He noted that technically speaking, Elfo is royalty due to who his mother is, though because both parents thought the other had died he didn't know until a lot later in life. Not that he cares too much about that, though it's an interesting talking point he sometimes brings up with Jon Snow who turned out to be the long-lost son of royalty and an unlikely romance.
  • Lord Farquaad thinks that his hybrid status makes him a freak, and he's unfortunately not the only person who believes that. Dolores Umbridge went on a racist tirade on him being some abomination due to his parentage, calling him a Child by Rape (which is blatantly try) or that his father's pairing was an ogre was basically bestiality (again, blatantly not true), which pisses Elfo off but not to the degree of consuming him or making him feel ashamed of himself. He's perceptive enough to see Farquaad calling him a freak unfit for his vision of the world as Psychological Projection, has Farquaad himself is apparently half-dwarf (and even discounting that, he doesn't live up to his own standards of normal anyway and is clearly compensating because he's insecure about his size). Elfo is insecure yes, but not about any racial attributes. Rather, it's his Ear Notch he's insecure about. And this insecurity wasn't made any less due to the trope's holder Zira existing, due to all the evil she's done. Jack Horner doesn't hold his hybrid status against him...if only because he holds equal contempt for any magical race. He wanted to take him to harvest his blood similar to Zog, only to be annoyed that his hybrid status makes him "useless", albeit only in his self-serving eyes.
  • Because he was seen as an outsider by his people, and to a lesser extent Dreamland too, he can easily understand what Rudolph went through and gets along with the reindeer. Santa Claus has noted that the elves Elfo belonged to were physically similar to his Christmas Elves, and wonders if they and the trogs might be evolutionary cousins of sorts. While his universe doesn't have Christmas, he still gave Elfo a gift of an expensive flute since he's proven himself to be on the nice list. Elfo sometimes like to play this flute alongside Astolfo, since he likes his cheerful attitude and that it's not as saccharine as Elfwood; the fact that not being cheerful and experiencing the more cynical side of life was taboo there was his real problem with his homeland. Astolfo has a bunch of fun adventuring stories to tell. While he is seen as an outsider by his kind, he still has a strong Sweet Tooth. He's curious about Princess Bubblegum because of her Candy Kingdom.
  • When he died, he went to Heaven, but intentionally got himself sent to Hell by making fun of Jerry as part of a scheme to come back to life. This almost backfired massively with him being stuck witnessing the worst moment of his life forever, but luckily Luci is one crafty little demon and got him resurrected. An attempt to assassinate Shrek by Lord Farquaad via cross-bow ended up hitting Elfo instead, and a glitch in the pantheon's revival system had him stay dead for some time. Elfo feared he would end up in the realm of the Kingdom of the Emperor Dolorous, but instead he ended up in a hula and luau. There he met the Satan of South Park, who was surprisingly approachable. Having dealt with his own relationship issues he liked to hear how even if he was a Dogged Nice Guy at first he matured and found a healthy relationship. Also, getting himself kicked out as part of a plan was pretty badass for someone seen by most as a wuss. The two have a casual friendship, though it might just be because Satan can get pretty lonely at times and his Disenchantment counterpart gave a good word about the elf.
  • Because he was resurrected, he is liable to potentially becoming a Black Lantern sleeper agent by Nekron should an emotional tether be made. While Nekron is an Enemy to All Living Things, he takes special umbridge in the resurrected (despite allowing resurrections to create sleeper agents). Unsurprisingly, Elfo is scared of the Lord of the Unliving. He's just as if not more so scared of the Death from Final Destination, who could easily see what his return as cheating and has a sadistic sense of balancing its books. He's talked about it with the protagonists from Final Destination, who can understand Elfo's embarrassment over causing his own death in an attempt to avert it, though both parties can agree the former got it worse. Voldemort was rather perplexed by Elfo not being nearly as afraid of death and going to Hell as part of his friends' plan. While having his own bigotries against Elfo, the elf is more put off by all the evil he's done than anything.

Got two suggestions. One a bit ago after getting it cleared up. One new.

The Looper, Divine Participators of Battle Royale Games (I know its more a role than a deity but I'm going to overlap the Fortnite originals and the crossovers to be considered a collective than a single person. To justify this trope, it's Fortnite. Biggest battle royale game in the market. Probably the first game you think of when talking about the genre when it didnt even start that way. Borderline everyone else failed trying to match its country-level GDP.)

Gray Fox, God of Cyber Ninjas (the last time someone had an idea for this trope was in 2015 as far as I could find to clear things up. So Gray Fox is the first relevant use of a cybernetic ninja in the series and is the picture in the trope page. He got experimented on AFTER ZANZIBAR to become the ultimate warrior where that means becoming a cyborg stealth master. Makes him nutty yet mysterious, a trend that several characters would become later on in Metal Gear after Gray Fox.)

Swap out the Looper to cover Jonesy in their place, and you get a [tup] from me. As for Gray Fox, I'll abstain for the time being, as I wanna hear what others think on them getting it (as Azure has mentioned them eyeing Cyber Ninja for the Tenno.

[down][down][down]

No offense, but that is a pretty bad way to go about things. Jonesy isn't technically the main protagonist, but he might as well be, given how much the story focuses on them. Just do Jonesy, as he's an actual character with concrete interactions. Am only ok giving you the upvote if you make it Jonesy. If not, I will be forced to [tdown] the Looper getting it over them.

Jonesy is not the main character of any Fortnite mode. He's not even a main character in Save the World, he just somehow got to be brunt of the advertising, where its usually in regards to Save the World and he shares. He's more a backround character in Battle Royale and I can hardly say that makes him carry the entire game in its context.

Since I got a [tup] on normal circumstances, gonna spill my plans. Even though its a collective that's filled with multiple characters, the Looper will be treated as an single ambigious person like all the other player-based profiles. The excuse is that they blend together as amnesiacs, so I dont have to incorporate all crossovers or lore unless official material shows interactions (like that Batman and Marvel comic).

[up][up][up] Jonesy being the main character of Battle Royale? I think you're talking about Agent Jones who looks like Jonesy but is a different person. Again, in context to Fortnite that Jonesy is basically a series of cameos and Agent Jones is not relevant in a few seasons while Looper is the character you play as every time. Jonesy could get something else if you want him but I'm not going to lie to not put someone more fitting.

And people have worked with less interactions for profiles. Why is that even a problem?

I have a few suggestions. Tell me what you guys think works, and what does not

  • Bikini Bottom, Divine Setting Where Water Is Air: a restoration for the dominions. I want to restore and update Bikini Bottom to modern standards. The setting of Bikini Bottom is an underwater city that unless it is important to the plot...or a gag, basically acts as if it is on land. There's been fires underwater, electronics, the fish folk walk instead of swim...oh yeah, and actual water that's used for stuff like lavatories or drinks
  • The April Fool, God of April Fools' Day (Guardians of the Holidays, Chaotic Neutral)- adopted from General Gigan. The April Fool is quite literally the fairy that represents the holiday of April Fools. Naturally he's a comedian who loves to pull jokes and pranks and he'll do anything just because its funny. He runs on peoples' laughter, but needs to complete his jokes before anyone can laugh at them. Otherwise he'll blow up.
  • Cardiff, Divine Small Town With Supernatural Occurrences: Cardiff since 2005 has been used as a common setting for present day episodes and has had a number of alien invasions and other weirdness happen to it. It's the source of a dimensional rift, where Torchwood is located and despite all this Cardiff is a rather obscure place. It's the capital of Wales but there are a lot more well-known places in the British Isles. Of course, it's also where the show's producers are so there's some ease in filming

@Azure [tup] for the new hall!

@Crimson [tup] to cutting Depravity, but where should it's deities go?

@RJ [tup] to Bikini Bottom and the April Fool!

[down]Doh I missed! (I really hate that the originators of that have now been tainted...)
