    PS135
"Go ahead, and rap battle me if you must."
"Your skin will be eaten up, as if it were crust."
"You may rest in this state of confusion."
"For you are trapped, in my forest of illusions."
A glitched Mario sprite who resides in the Forest of Illusion, and is the main antagonist of the mod.
  • Absurd Phobia: Per Word of God, the only thing PS135 fears is Uncle Grandpa.
  • Big Ol' Eyebrows: Because his eye is in his mouth, his mustache doubles as this.
  • The Cameo: He shows up in "BF's Funklamity" where Boyfriend enlists him to destroy the castle, but he just kills Boyfriend instead.
  • Eyes Do Not Belong There: His true form has a giant eyeball inside his mouth.
  • Flaying Alive: If his line "Your skin will be eaten up, as if it were crust" is any indication, PS135 likes to eat the skin of his victims.
  • Glitch Entity: He originates from a glitch in Super Mario World that causes Mario's color scheme to turn green and obscures his face in shadow (As can be seen here), and he makes the screen glitch out whenever he transforms.
  • Green and Mean: His shirt and cap are green in his true form, and he's the complete opposite of the hero the actual Mario is.
  • Imposter Forgot One Detail: In his sprite art posted on Fire’s Twitter, PS135’s eyes while he’s disguised as Mario are red. "Illusion" has a different take on his disguise, having him simply be Mario but with an Eyeless Face.
  • Irony: While the Super Star makes most users invincible, and its theme is his leitmotif, it's his biggest weakness because it changes his powerup state and thus kills him.
  • Leitmotif: The Super Star theme appears in pretty much every song he appears in, taking the role of the Drowning motif from Xenophanes.
Soul Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and Oogtar
The 4 characters who PS135 uses to fight Boyfriend in "MARIO IS MISSING", Mario in "Mirror Mode" and Xenophanes in "CONSOLE WAR". Luigi is also summoned in "Time Attack".
  • An Arm and a Leg: Luigi is missing his right arm, though this was seemingly retconned by "Mario is Missing V2". Yoshi is missing both arms.
  • And I Must Scream: Luigi is actually not dead. He's barely alive and is being puppeteered by PS135.
  • Blank White Eyes: Unlike the rest of PS135's victims, who have black eyes, Oogtar has these instead, mainly to showcase how low he sunk mentally.
  • Dual Boss: Oogtar and Yoshi technically count as this, in their segments, they sing together, Oogtar sings the first half of their verse and Yoshi sings the second half.
  • Off with Her Head!: Peach's head is cut off from the rest of her body, with it mostly levitating.
  • Sanity Slippage: Oogtar's village burning down thanks to PS135 didn't help his mental psyche at all.

Opponents

Remixes

    Charles Mariotinet
A version of Mario with his voice actor's face who has a rap battle with Boyfriend in "Disk Driven", a remix of "Endless".
  • Expy: Of Majin Sonic, being a variant of the franchise's star character sporting a humanoid face, a constant smile and is all about having fun. He and Majin are even canonically friends
  • Eyes Always Shut: His eyes are never open, with the only exception being when PS135 drops his disguise in "Powered Up".
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Once PS135 drops his disguise in "Powered Up", Charles drops the smile and opens his eyes, showing he's downright pissed at the latter, likely realising his intentions to harm Boyfriend.
    Morio.mov
Get free WiFi anywhere you go!
A Mario version of Sunky who is fought in "Soup", a remix of "Milk".

    Hotmetal
Psssh... Lets a go... To that punk rok concert!!!
Basically the Mario version of Coldsteel. He is fought in "Punk", a remix of "Personnel", and "DEATH".
  • Autobots, Rock Out!: Hotmetal pulls out a guitar when transitioning to his second phase and tries to play it. Emphasis on tries.
Hotmetal: alright now heres my awesome phase 2!!
  • Blood Knight: During his rant, he explains he killed multiple people in the war. And he apparently was awarded for it with his piercing.
  • Insult Backfire: Hotmetal attempts to insult Monkey 32 by comparing him to dinosaurs during "???", but only a few seconds later does he get annoyed with the sounds said monkey is shouting.
Hotmetal: your lame!! dinosaurs are cooler than you! hahahahahahaha! [...] shut the fuck up! oh my god, its fucking annoying!!!
  • Non Sequitur Distraction: Much like his counterpart, he goes on a rant about his hat piercing, its origin, enforcing it looks cool and not girly, and then chews out some guy named MrSuperMarioWorldFan(most likely his version of khaoskid663) for stealing his Piximon card.
Hotmetal: oh, my hat piercing? i know it looks really badass right? if you wanted to know i got it in the war, uh, because i killed so many people that it looked so fucking cool on me, they just thought it would look cool. (inhale) and it doesn't look fucking girly mrsupermarioworldfan you piece of fucking shit give me back my piximon card now you fuckhead- (inhale) whatever...

    G0nzales
Love you! - ☆XOXO
A woman who died in a car crash and ended up possessing a copy of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. She's fought in "Power Rush", a remix of "Round-a-bout".
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: Her shirt and overalls switched colors while her shoes are also blue, making her resemble Jumpman from Donkey Kong, and her cap has a yellow flower-like shape with a black G as opposed to a white circle with a red M.
  • Expy: She's the Mario equivalent of Needlem0use, being a deceased girl who takes on the form of an iconic video game character and twisting their appearance.
  • Meaningful Name: "The Great Gonzolas" is the Pit Fighting nickname Mario recieves in TTYD, like how "Mr. Needlemouse" was Sonic's initial name.
  • Samus Is a Girl: Like Needlem0use before her, G0nzales is a girl named Gabriella possessing the data of Mario.
    Cooper
A friend of Gabriella who ends up in the copy of The Thousand Year Door and turned into Koops. He is fought in "Shell Slam", a remix of "Her World".
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: His shell is yellow-orange and his shoes are brown, as opposed to respectively being green and white like canon Koops. His hoodie is also unzipped, revealing a white shirt.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Cooper, unlike Luther, is quite aggressive towards Boyfriend. Where Luther, as shown by his sprites ShutUpJojo posted in their community tab on YouTube, never draws his weapon on Boyfriend, Cooper is more than willing to use his scythe against the cyanette rapper.
  • Expy: Of Luther, both are former friends of the dead girl that killed them, both possessed the code of the in-game protagonist's partner (Tails and Koops, respectively), and both wield a bladed polearm made from a Mineral MacGuffin. In addition, BF faces both where said MacGuffin is found.
  • Meaningful Background Event: His stage is the same room in which Hooktail, the first boss of TTYD, is faced. Significant both because of Koops' personal connection to Hooktail, who is responsible for the disappearence and presumed death of his father a decade prior, and because of this being where the Diamond Star that serves as Cooper's scyth is obtained, reflecting how fan-finished versions of Her World are often set in the Special Stage from S3&K.
  • Meaningful Name: Both himself and his song.
  • Morphic Resonance: As noted in Adaptational Dye-Job, he has a yellow-orange shell, which is derived from a backpack of the same color he owned back when he was alive that got shown in official artwork of his human form.
  • Sinister Scythe: Cooper uses a scythe made from the Diamond Star as his weapon, reflecting Luther's axe made from the blue Chaos Emerald. The blade has a resemblance to a comet.
    Emperor M
The opponent of the "Cycles" remix, "Tyrant".
  • All Your Powers Combined: Shown with the Hammer and Raccoon powerups simultaneously.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: Has black Xs on his otherwise red eyes, just like Lord X.
  • Expy: Seems to be one of Lord X, having a paler complexion, a Mario disguise, and red eyes with black Xs in them, as well as the world noticeably distorting into a much more devastated and decidedly strange version of itself when he drops his guise. Not to mention his name is a clear nod to Lord X's.
  • The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You: As shown in Tyrant when he looks at the screen and laughs. Heck, the thumbnail for the song's YouTube upload shows him PRYING OPEN THE BLACK BORDERS and staring directly at the viewers with a nasty grin.
    Framed and F.L.U.D.D.
It's been...It's been a bit rough lately.
A version of Mario who fell victim to Bowser Jr. using his Shadow Mario disguise to frame him for crimes in Isle Delfino and later the Mushroom Kingdom, forcing him to abandon his former life, with F.L.U.D.D. becoming his Only Friend as a result. He is fought in "Denounced", a remix of "Malediction".
  • Adaptational Gender Identity: Unlike the transgender Curse, Framed is cisgender.
  • Ambiguously Brown: His skin is noticeably darker than the original Mario.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Bowser Jr. succeeded in not only framing Mario on Isle Delfino, but also in the Mushroom Kingdom, condemning him to the life he's in now.
  • Graceful Loser: Framed takes his loss against Boyfriend in stride due to his bad publicity, having found the ordeal quite fun and offering another go once he's finished fixing F.L.U.D.D.
  • Hated by All: His bad publicity resulted in him being hated by everyone throughout Isle Delfino and the Mushroom Kingdom, with E. Gadd as the only person to keep him safe until his death.
  • Hero with Bad Publicity: Moreso than his original incarnation in Super Mario Sunshine, as he failed to prove his innocence on Isle Delfino and was later exiled from the Mushroom Kingdom after Shadow Mario framed him there as well. E. Gadd was the only person to believe his innocence, but he died of old age.
  • Token Good Teammate: He's just Mario with a unjustly tattered reputation. He even has fun in his rap battle with Boyfriend.
  • Walking the Earth: His ultimate fate is traveling universe after universe, scavenging parts to repair F.L.U.D.D., his Only Friend.
    N64 Mario
The Super Mario 64 version of Mario, who's trying desperately to save his dear brother Luigi from the castle well. He's the opponent of "Dire Attempt 2401".
  • Token Good Teammate: He's Mario himself rather than some supernatural creature disguised as him, and he's trying to save Luigi.
    Violet Envy Waluigi
A version of the purple plumber himself who has gone insane from not being playable in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. He is the opponent of Disperazione, a cover of Doomsday.
  • Driven to Suicide: Similar to the character he is based on, he ends his song by blasting himself with a fake smash ball.
  • Foil: Naturally, to Red Mist Squidward. While both are suicidal, Squidward's are more reasonable, being fueled by tragedy and humiliation at his clarinet recital. Waluigi's are more silly and petty in comparison, being denied another chance at Super Smash Bros and having to settle as an assist trophy. Squidward utilizes a non fictional firearm, a shotgun to kill himself, while Waluigi uses a fictional explosive, the Fake Smash Ball, to do the same. And while both aim for their heads, Squidward blows his brains out and leaves most of his body intact, while Waluigi blows himself up, only leaving his lower torso and legs.
    Baby Mario
A version of Mario's infant self, turned into some strange monster.
  • Adaptational Abomination: What made him this way is unclear, but it's plain that this version of Mario is no longer human, if he ever was at all.
  • Expy: Serves roughly the same role as the Jigglypuff Pico faces in Lullaby's "Purin", though he hadn't been created with that intent.
  • Hell Is That Noise: His infamous crying is part of his song, and considering that mutilated Yoshi hanging in the background, and the events of Yoshi.exe, Pico's in for a rough time if he loses.
    eLi
L just did your mother

  • Stylistic Suck: Everything, EVERYTHING, about him is this, from his design to his voice to his song, which is a remix of the infamous Welcome (Old).
     MatPat
The Game Theory man himself, having invaded the Mushroom Kingdom to discuss his theories on the Mario brothers.
  • Real-Person Cameo: He's the only opponent of the non-original remixes to be a real person instead of a Mario character variant.

    Mari and Cornered
Mari is the protagonist of a bootleg Mario game called "Mari PizzaWorld", while Cornered is an entity written into existence by the collected frustration of Nintendo employees with bootlegs. They're the opponents of "Unstoppable Force".
  • Gender Flip: Mari is a female, unlike the male Hog and Mario.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Mari is the only female character present in "???". The other female characters in the mod are absent.
  • Two Beings, One Body: Like Hog and Scorched before them, Mari and Cornered share the same body, which transforms depending on who's in control. Unlike Hog and Scorched, Mari and Cornered are seperate genders, Mari being female.

    Mawio
Mario's replacement from a Super Mario 64 ROM Hack called OWO Project. She sings "OwO".

    Mr. Retro
The pure embodiment of all things Classic Mario. He's the opponent of "5oR3tr0".
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: He's the pure embodiment of all things Classic Mario, being primarily based off Mario's appearance in Super Mario Bros. while also temporarily shifting into looks based off of Mario's appearances in Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World.
  • Catchphrase: "So Retro!"
  • Gag Nose: His nose is much longer than Mario's, and also contains a miniature replica of the beginning of World 1-1 on top of it, consisting of the first set of blocks, a goomba and some warp pipes. He has the whole damn level, underground area included, in his cameo in Mar10 Day Lost Levels.

    Jumpman
They took away my purpose in life. That barrel throwin' ape, my lady Pauline, they took it all. And left me for a blue overalled plumber.
Mario's original self, who isn't happy about his replacement in the slightest. He's the opponent of "KILL SCREEN".
  • Expy: As his song is a remix of "Isotope", he's this for none other than Glitchy Red, seeing his new incarnation Mario as Nintendo just leaving him behind for someone else, being very angry about his current situation, and also being a Glitch Entity. He even has dialogue similar to Glitchy Red's, asking if Mario sees him as a joke and lamenting how he's lost everything and being left behind for Mario.
  • Fallen Hero: Having his legacy taken from him and being left behind for a certain blue-overalled plumber has broken him and turned him into a bitter, vengeful soul.
  • Glitch Entity: Has a noticeable glitch asthetic to him, which becomes more noticeable once he takes out the Hammer he was holding behind his back.
  • Hidden Eyes: His eyes are covered by shadows, though his left eye, which is glowing red, can bee seen through the shadows.
  • Little "No": Just like Glitchy Red in the original "Isotope", he lets out one of these mid-song.
  • Meet Your Early-Installment Weirdness: Unlike Glitchy Red, who just faces off against Boyfriend, Jumpman manages to face Mario in his current incarnation, he is not at all happy to see Mario for replacing his purpose.

    Fajer
A mysterious individual who impersonates Mario. He's the opponent of "Impostor".
  • Evil Laugh: Lets out one at the end of "Impostor" as he starts to transform.
  • Expy: Outside of the obvious nods to EXE, his appearance also bears similarities to Somari, in that he wears shoes similar to Sonic's and his messy hair is slightly similar to Sonic's quills, said resemblance becomes much stronger when he starts to transfrom at the end of "Impostor", in that the hair has grown larger and is in the same style as Sonic's quills.
  • One-Winged Angel: While his true form has yet to be revealed, a glimpse of him going through the transformation process is shown at the end of "Impostor", in which Fajer grows bigger, his arms and legs get longer, his fingers become sharp claws, his hair becomes longer and resembles Sonic's quills, additional spikes and a tail can be seen poking out of his back, and his pupils appear to be melting inwards, revealing white pupils within black sockets.

    Ultima Weapon
"Entering my forest, came with ease"
"Lost, here inside, none will hear your pleas"
"Hear a voice above, it is calling your name"
"Something about it just isn't the same!"
A malevolent being resembling Geno who resides in the Forest Maze. He's the opponent in "Follow", a remix of D-Sides "Too Slow".
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: In typical D-Sides fashion.
  • Arm Cannon: Just like the real Geno. Certain sound cues and visual effects indicate that he uses them against BF throughout the song.
  • Expy: Of Mighty.ZIP/Zephaniah, as both are based on previously obscure classic characters who originated from isometric spinoff games (SegaSonic and Super Mario RPG) and have recently reentered the spotlight (Sonic Mania Plus and the remake of SMRPG) and both have a habit of rhyming.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Like the real (D-Sides version of) Geno, he wears a violet hat and cloak, and has purple eyes both in and out of his facade. Given his status as a Geno-based EXE, it can be safely assumed that he is a major threat.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here; The end of his song has him let out a loud scream before fleeing the scene, complete with a Super Mario RPG-style pop-up saying "The enemy ran away!".
  • Status Buff: Gains an Attack Up buff towards the end of "Follow". It's currently unknown if this is purely aesthetic or of this will actually impact gameplay.

Mario Mix Originals

    MX
INNOCENCE DOESN’T GET YOU FAR
An ancient spirit who possesses a copy of Super Mario Bros, he is fought in "Running".
  • Creepy Souvenir: In "Mar10 Day", he wears a decapitated Toad's head on top of his hat.
    Xenophanes and his victims
I AM GOD
The infamous demonic extraterrestrial hedgehog himself, appearing as his latest incarnation and having brought his three main victims, the souls of Tails, Knuckles and Robotnik. They're the opponents of "Console War", a mashup of "Triple Trouble" and "Mario Is Missing".
  • Adaptation Dye-Job: Soul Tails, Soul Knuckles and Soul Robotnik all have their designs more in-line with their regular forms' designs from Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie as supposed to their classic designs to go with PS135's souls' designs being based on Super Mario World (1991). Averted with Xeno, who retains his appearance from his home mod.
  • Guest Fighter: Fresh out of "Vs. Sonic.exe", and ready for a rap battle with a Glitch Entity and his victims, the latter of whom are based off of Sonic's eternal rival in gaming.
  • Wolfpack Boss: Xenophanes, along with his victims, add up to 4 opponents in total for "Console War".
    BW
BLOOD WHISTLE, HEAR ITS CRY!
A version of Mario that gets driven mad by the Blood Whistle. He's the opponent of "HEAR ITS CRY".
  • Demonic Possession: Mid-song, he gets possessed by the Blood Whistle, resulting in him flying while his eyes grow red and his ears bleed.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: The Blood Whistle rams itself right into BW's chest, leaving it surrounded by a ring of blood and allowing it to possess him.
  • Token Good Teammate: He's (technically) Mario himself rather than a freaky entity assuming Mario's identity and means no harm, but ends up becoming a puppet of the Blood Whistle.
    Plush Luigi
luigi
A plush Luigi who goes onto Omegle to talk to hot mothers like Mommy Mearest.
    Gangsta Mario
A version of Mario dressed like a rapper. He's the opponent of "Crank".

What are you doing in my house?
The director and lead composer of this mod. Boyfriend has broken into his home and he’s not in the best mood. He's the opponent in both "Insert" and "Final Smash".
  • A Lighter Shade of Black: He’s not a horrific monster, but he is kind of an asshole, verbally berating Boyfriend and Polyfield during "Insert".
Fire: Hey fuckface, this is my song!
  • Author Avatar: The song’s literally called "Insert", as in self insert.
  • Get Out!: He practically throws Boyfriend out of his house after the two are done singing.
Fire: Already, we had our fun little fucking rap battle, now get out!
    Polyfield
Án anthropomorphic green cat who's roommates with FireMarioFan and has helped him compose songs for the "Mario Mix".
    The Baker
A version of Peach who goes insane due to the player taking too long to rescue her so she decides to get the Toads to seek out all the Mario corpses so she can bake them into a cake. She is fought in "Ice Cold Cake".
    Verbalase Mario
Before it gets ugly? You’re-a too late for that!
Mario as he appeared in Verbalase's Cartoon Beatbox Battles.
    MariObama
A cross between Mario and Obama. He sings "MariObama".
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: He's a cross between Mario and Obama. His name is also a combination of their names (Mario + Obama = MariObama).
  • Joke Character: He's clearly not meant to be a serious character in the slightest, given that he's a mashup of Mario and Obama and has a stick figure build.
  • Perpetual Frowner: Has a frown for the entirety of his song.

    SimpleFlips
First try, idiot!
A YouTuber best known for playing Super Mario 64 ROM Hacks. He's the opponent of "Desert Bus", and the player character in "Adhesive".
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: In "Desert Bus", he drives a bus in the desert. The bus even has "Desertbus" written on it's side.
  • Mythology Gag: In the background of "Adhesive", the letters "GBJ" can be seen written behind SimpleFlips. These letters most likely stand for "Gay Baby Jail", a humorous term for getting soft-locked in video games, which SimpleFlips himself coined.
  • Promoted to Playable: In "Adhesive", in which he sings against the infamous Bup.

    Shygal/Shy Guys
The opponents of "Shortstack"
  • Disguised in Drag: Hand-in-hand with Totem Pole Trench, though it can be inferred that one of them is genuinely female given the Shygal vocals continues alongside two sets of Shy Guy vocals.
  • Totem Pole Trench: Is revealed during the midway point of the song to be a trio of Shy Guys stacked on top of one another and using cloth, fake legs, a wig, and a pair of eggs to look like a tall female.
    Danny Avidan
Welcome back to Butt Lumps.
One of the two primary members of Game Grumps, alongside Arin Hanson. He's the opponent of "Smeared".

    Castle
A castle that just won't get blown up despite Boyfriend's many attempts, it is the opponent of "Boyfriend's Funklamity".
  • Silent Antagonist: Being an inanimate object, it can't vocalise. Although one of Boyfriend's failed attempts to demolish it features it rapping a verse that Boyfriend can't repeat, it doesn't make any vocals.

Mario from the Super Mario 64 ROM Hack Super Mario 64 Chaos Edition. He's the opponent of "Fatal Error".
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: This version of Mario has a color scheme composed of all different colors covering every inch of his body. Only the emblem on his hat and his eyes remain unchanged.
  • Mythology Gag: In the YouTube upload for "Fatal Error", he's shown being surrounded by a tornado of miscellaneous things from Bob-Omb Battlefield, in reference to a random event from the ROM Hack in which the game will send out a tornado of every enemy and object that isn't nailed down at the player.

    VRChat Luigi
A humorous edited model of Luigi from VRChat. He's the opponent of "Accused".
  • Ret-Canon: His song was originally regarded as a "Never-Ever", but now that it's regarded as an Original, he's been added to the Mario Mix cast.
  • Waddling Head: Downplayed in that he has legs, but he's nothing more than Luigi's head (Minus the hat, mustache and nose) on feet.
    Wega
A version of Luigi's screaming face from Luigi's Mansion but purple and replaced with the scary face of Slendytubbies Tinky Winky. He is the opponent of "Storm".

A memetic Toad that often crosses paths with SimpleFlips. He's the opponent of "Adhesive".

     CDi Mario
Nice of the princess to invite us over for a picnic, ey Luigi?

Mario as he appears in Hotel Mario. He's the opponent of "Toasty Beats".

     Laser Mario
A fake powerup for Mario that supposedly appears in Super Mario World. He is the opponent of "Top Secret".
  • The Stoic: He maintains a serious expression for the entirety of the song.

Playable Characters

    Lucas
The latest victim of MX. A kid who got his soul trapped inside the game the Eldritch Abomination resides in. He sings alongside Boyfriend in the second half of "Running".
  • Dual Boss: An inverted example. In the second half of "Running", he assissts Boyfriend, the player character, in hopes of taking down the main and sole opponent of the song, MX.
    L 2401
MARIOOOO!
The Super Mario 64 version of Luigi who finds himself stuck in the castle well and gets taken by the Boos. He is the player character for "Dire Attempt 2401".
  • Expy: To Sink, being trapped underwater with no hope of escape, and yet not being able to drown.
    Mario/Soul Mario
Mario himself from PS135's story, who has come to confront his evil doppleganger once and for all in "Mirror Mode".
  • Adaptational Badass: Mario is able to use both a Cape Feather and Fire Flower at once during “Mirror Mode”.
  • Eye Scream: The pixel art section of “Mirror Mode” reveals that Mario has a scar on his eye.
  • The Hero Dies: He unfortunately fails to defeat PS135 by the end of "Mirror Mode", instead becoming yet another of the malevolent entity's victims.
    Luigi
The green plumber himself, who learns the truth behind all the cakes that The Baker has been making lately...
  • Oh, Crap!: His expression throughout "Ice Cold Cake" is staring at The Baker in sheer horror. Given that The Baker has blood dripping from her mouth and multiple corpses of Mario are scattered throughout the background, his expression is justified.
    Verbalase Sonic
You smell like used toilet paper, plumber man!
Sonic the hedgehog as he appears in Cartoon Beatbox Battles.
    Joel
Rest in piece, bitch!
The Vinesauce man himself, who's out go-karting in the desert, leading into him running into a bus-driving SimpleFlips. He's the player character of "Desert Bus".
  • Autobots, Rock Out!: After a minute into "Desert Bus", he stands up on his kart, pulls out a guitar, and plays that for a good portion of the song. Afterwards, he puts the guitar away and resumes driving, only to pull the guitar back out again towards the end of the song.
    Paper Mario
An alternate version of Mario from a storybook, accompanied by Boyfriend and Watt, he’s encountered a rather… odd looking Shyguy.
  • Dual Boss: Inverted. The player plays as both him and Boyfriend against the shyguys faced in "Shorstack".
    Arin Hanson
THERE'S SHIT ON THE WALL!
One of the primary members of Game Grumps. He's the player character of "Smeared".
    Dorkly Sonic
Shitballs...

    Rappasaurus Rex
The player character of Lost Level Remixes. He's Boyfriend as a Rex.
    Smash Bandicoot
Watch it there, plumber boy!
The player character of Final Smash, Smash Bandicoot is a Youtuber that has beef with Fire regarding the "Mario Mix" name.
  • Actually Pretty Funny: IRL example; Smash Bandicoot left a comment on Final Smash complimenting the song. It had been pinned for a while, but was unpinned and possibly removed in early 2024.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: His sona is a purple-furred Crash Bandicoot.
  • Synthetic Voice Actor: Smash Bandicoot has this throughout Final Smash.
  • Take That!: The entire song is one to him, featuring him at one point literally just singing Triple Trouble, prompting Fire to call him a 'lazy bastard.'
    Pico
An old friend of BF's.
    Tennis Luigi and Mario
The Mario Brothers, only Luigi is dressed for a game of Tennis, while Mario is wearing a noticeably different cap than normal. They're the player characters of "Measure Up".
  • Raging Stiffie: Luigi has a noticeable bulge sticking out his pants, which may explain his expression of discomfort whilst singing against MatPat.
  • Say My Name: As a nod to Phone Guy calling in during the original "Lore", Luigi shouts out for Mario, saying his name repeatedly.
    Monkey 32
Oh Banana
A PNG of a monkey and the best basketball player in Mario Mix. Is the player character of "???".
