    Goddess of War Plitvice
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/plitvicegl.png
Witness me. Enjoy my victory.
JP artwork
A war goddess capable of controlling fire at will. She was sealed away in Heavenhold, waiting for the arrival of a worthy champion.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: God
Age: Unknown
Height and weight: 164cm/46kg
Element: Fire
Role: Warrior
Exclusive Weapon: Prominence
Voiced by: Miho Okasaki (Japanese), Jennifer Losi (English)
Illustrator: けけもつ (JP)

  • The Ageless: Depowered or not, she is still a goddess with eternal youth.
  • Big Eater: She eats large amounts of food very quickly because she considers eating to be part of war.
  • Crutch Character: As the only guaranteed unique you'll get, Plitvice will do well in getting you through the story if you unlock her early. A lack of any team supporting options beyond her party buff generally relegates her to fire teams for guild raid and Tower of Horizon, and mostly a non-factor in PvP due to the risks of running mono-element.
  • De-power: Thanks to a loss of worshippers, the destruction of the World Tree, and a very long stint in stasis, she lost the vast majority of her godly power. She is now only a bit more powerful than most mortal fighters.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: She gets annoyed at how little anyone reacts to her being outright divinity.
  • Gods Need Prayer Badly: Her powers have been severely weakened as the number of worshippers dwindled over the years, lowering her strength down to the level of a strong mortal. She was openly surprised that the player gathered enough faith in Heavenhold to awaken her at all.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She is surprisingly benevolent for a deity of war. She claims this is because she has enough precognition to see the results of negative actions.
  • Hot Wings: When she wants to show off, she can summon six flame-colored divine wings on her back.
  • Lady of War: She may be a war goddess, but Plitvice prefers to go into battle wearing a frilled dress rather than armor. She generally tries to act with an air of grace and dignity in or out of battle but can fall short at times. Especially when pudding is involved.
  • Loser Deity: Most of the surviving pantheon are treated fairly respectfully by the mortal characters despite being mostly depowered. Plitvice has not been so lucky. She's been the butt of jokes since she awakened.
  • Oh, My Gods!: Some characters invoke her name when surprised.
  • Pals with Jesus: Heavenhold's residents are pretty casual about hanging out with a war goddess.
  • Physical God: While Plitvice is severely weakened, she still maintains enough of her godly powers to best any number of normal mortals. Unfortunately for her, the people she usually hangs out with these days are anything but "normal" mortals.
  • Sealed Good in a Can: She's stuck at the bottom section of Heavenhold, requiring 1 million soul points to unlock as a playable character. You can even do this if you happen to pull her from the gacha instead, which gives you 50 Hero Crystals for the duplicate unique.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: She loves pudding so much that she used to order her servant angels to get it for her.

    Dragon Avatar Vishuvac
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vishuvacgl.png
With me, you're the strongest!
JP artwork
One of many avatars created and commanded by the Fire Dragon King dispatched to locate Prince Girgas and take him home. Vishuvac decided to allow the prince his time to wander and set out to make friends of her own.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: Unknown
Age: Unknown
Height and weight: 171cm/63kg
Element: Fire
Role: Warrior
Exclusive Weapon/s: Volcanic Horn (Claw), Volcanic Core (Gauntlet)
Voiced by: Mikako Komatsu (Japanese), Allegra Clark (English)
Illustrator: イコモチ (JP)

  • Absurdly Sharp Claws: One of the few characters to equip Claws.
  • Berserk Button: Do anything to harm Girgas and she will turn you into a smoking crater.
  • Bruiser with a Soft Center: She's an avatar of the Fire Dragon with massive, flaming claws for hands... and one of the friendliest characters in the game.
  • Hot Wings: She sprouts a pair of flaming wings and constantly hovers when equipped with her Volcanic Core gauntlets.
  • My Species Doth Protest Too Much: There are several Dragon Avatars looking for Girgas, but Vishuvac is the only one that actually wants him to see the world.
  • Nice Girl: She's so pleasant that her bio notes she's beloved anywhere she goes.
  • Power Fist: Her second exclusive weapon, Volcanic Core, is a pair of large gauntlets made of still-molten lava.
  • The Power of Friendship: She is such a believer in the value of friendship that she tends to work the word into most of her sentences. Part of why she goes against her orders and allows Girgas to continue wandering is because she wants him to make friends of his own.
  • Protectorate: Her main duty is to ensure Girgas' safety.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: During Unrecorded World's Time Skip, Girgas is murdered, and she torches an entire country in response before going into exile.
  • Stripperiffic: Her default outfit is a very tight bodysuit that leaves one leg exposed.
  • Waif-Fu: She doesn't have any visible musculature, but anyone who underestimates her is likely to end up at the bottom of a smoldering crater from her fists.

    Exorcist Miya
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/miyagl.png
There's so much energy and life in festivals. And also gambling!
JP artwork
Miya is a respected exorcist who fights with souls. Although being in a distinguished exorcist family, her love lies in festivals and her gambling addiction... which got her kicked out when she gambled away the family's prized souls and lost them. Now she travels the world to get them back... but that doesn't mean she's quit gambling altogether.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: Human
Age: 22
Height and weight: 166cm/50kg
Element: Fire
Role: Support
Exclusive Weapon: Shangri La
Voiced by: Yui Horie (Japanese), Mela Lee (English)
Illustrator: イコモチ (JP)

  • Combat Hand Fan: Her weapon is "Shangri La", a hand fan that can blow healing winds for her allies, and hot winds for her enemies.
  • Fire Purifies: She uses her fire-based spiritual powers to burn corruption out of evil spirits.
  • The Gambling Addict: To the point where she got kicked out of her house until she got back what she had gambled away. She hasn't learned her lesson even after that.
  • Healing Shiv: When equipped with her exclusive weapon, allies she hits with her main attack are healed.
  • I See Dead People: She has the innate ability to perceive and interact with spiritual beings.
  • Miko: Her job is to exorcise demons and guide lost spirits to their afterlives.

    Drunken Swordmaster Lynn
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lynngl.png
Drink up, drink up!
JP artwork
Lynn is a luckless chef running a bento shop in Shen City. Her luck is so bad that it once had her end up in the After World after dying in a motorcycle accident, and she had to run a bento shop in the afterlife to get a chance to be revived.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: Human
Age: 23
Height and weight: 146cm/43kg
Element: Fire
Role: Warrior
Exclusive Weapon: Red Lotus
Voiced by: Sayaka Senbongi (Japanese), Laura Stahl (English)
Illustrator: 鉄花まき (JP)

  • A Day in the Limelight: In the short story Lynn's Bento Shop where she runs a bento shop. In the After World. After dying to save a child from a random motorcycle accident, Elite Grim Reaper Yuna takes pity on her and allows her to run a restaurant for the other dead souls to earn her way back to life.
  • Back from the Dead: Her short story has her technically die in an accident and run a restaurant in the afterlife to earn a resurrection.
  • Born Unlucky: If something bad could happen, it will happen to her. She's so unlucky that not even the After World wants to deal with the problems she causes just by being there.
  • Chef of Iron: She's a dedicated chef that fights monsters for new ingredients using kung fu and a gigantic butcher knife as her weapon.
  • Cosmic Plaything: She fails at almost everything she tries thanks to extenuating circumstances. One of the top elite Grim Reapers, Yuna, gave her a chance to work her way to revival after death out of sheer pity for how pathetic her life had been.
  • Drowning My Sorrows: She tends to drink a lot of tea to put up with her constant misfortune.
  • Drunken Master: She was already a highly trained fighter, but she gets even more dangerous when she's plastered.
  • Extreme Omnivore: You can beat up various bosses in her short story to unlock new dishes to sell. This includes stuff like Shadow Beasts and Archdemons.
  • Fire-Breathing Diner: Her alternate ability is a fire breath that temporarily boosts her attack.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: In her short story, she pushes a kid out of the way of a speeding motorcyclist. Of course since it's Lynn she can't just die to the motorcyclist, so instead she gets launched onto her bike which then takes off and goes flying off a cliff, presumably to make it look like a drunk driving accident.
  • Leitmotif: Lynn's Theme.
  • Near-Death Experience: Her short story takes place after she technically dies in a motorcycle accident and has to work to earn a chance at revival.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She's the shortest and lightest of all the adult human combatants, but is still capable of slicing up monsters with just a kitchen knife.
  • Red Herring: During her short story, she is told to follow one very important rule: No drinking, or straight to hell. This never comes up again.
  • Undignified Death: She dies being carried off a cliff by a random motorcycle after try to save a child from it. It's listed as her having a drunk driving accident by the news.
  • Walking Disaster Area: Every restaurant Lynn works at either gets destroyed or bankrupted, seemingly from some minor happening beyond her control that gets blown massively out of proportion. The After World gave her free revival just to get rid of her after the problems her bad luck caused them.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: If your Arena opponent has equipped Injury Negation cards, you effectively lose the passive effect of Red Lotus in addition to the extra damage her chain would have dealt.

    Trickster Lucy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lucygl.png
Darling, people like you are why I wanna be bad.
JP artwork
A phantom thief who is infamous all over the world for her great talent in thieving even the most secure vaults in the world. No one knows who "Lucy" really is, but it's a known fact that she does crimes because of the thrill she gets from them and that she has a lot of doctorates tied to her numerous fake names. In spite of her greatness though, her only "weakness" is her inability to make good jokes.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: Human
Age: ?
Height and weight: 159cm/53kg
Element: Fire
Role: Ranged
Exclusive Weapon: Fantasia
Voiced by: Misato Fukuen (Japanese), Nichole Thompkins (English)

  • The Ace: Lucy seems to excel in almost everything she tries. Aside from comedy, that is.
  • Affably Evil: Lucy is generally pleasant company, but she's still ruthless in her crimes when she's not being showy.
  • Cannot Tell a Joke: Her only "weakness", as one might call it. She has bad delivery when it comes to making jokes and will have her feelings hurt if the punchline doesn't hit and the tension dies.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: Any partners she calls in for her crimes tend to be disposed of before she makes her getaway.
  • Death Dealer: Her projectiles are her calling cards.
  • Freudian Excuse: Defied. She likes to amuse herself by telling people various sob stories about her past only to abruptly drop the act and admit to them that she made it all up. All so she can mock the target for being gullible enough to believe that she needed some tragedy to motivate her life of crime.
  • The Gadfly: As expected of a flashy thief, Lucy's favorite pastime is tricking people.
  • I Have Many Names: She's had a long history of using fake identities for various purposes throughout her crime-filled career. "Lucy" is almost certainly not her real name, but the latest out of a long line of pseudonyms that she prefers for the moment.
  • Master of Disguise: She can flawlessly disguise herself as almost anyone. Her first in-story appearance has her dressed as a musclebound demon man at least twice her real size and somehow pull it off flawlessly.
  • Mysterious Past: Lucy goes out of her way to make it impossible to verify any details of her past. Her age, nationality, and even real name are all unknown. All anyone can find of her history is a string of degrees and accomplishments attached to various fake names she's taken all over the world.
  • Omnidisciplinary Scientist: She is a master of disguise, escape, and misdirection. She is very talented in magic, gymnastics, and athletics. She has doctorates in Medicine, Security, Psychology, and Alchemy, all tied to her fake names. She is a genius in many crime-related talents. Just about the only thing she isn't an expert in is comedy.
  • Phantom Thief: Lucy lives for the thrill of thievery.
  • The Tease: She likes to lead on men romantically. Sometimes for her jobs, but often just for fun. This is not without its consequences: she says that she has to put more effort into avoiding her large number of former male admirers than she ever had to when evading the law enforcement.

    Flame Harpy Scintilla
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scintillagl.png
Spirits can't build muscles? I used to think so too!
JP artwork
Scintilla is a fire harpy from the land of flames. Harpies, a subset of fairies that are usually born with frail and thin bodies, were mostly believed to be unable to strengthen their bodies with training due to the laws of homeostasis, but Scintilla managed to defy all odds and became the first "muscular harpy" in existence. She now travels the Human World to gain an even stronger body.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: Elemental
Age: 121
Height and weight: 161cm/54kg
Element: Fire
Role: Warrior
Exclusive Weapon: Ifrit
Voiced by: Rie Murakawa (Japanese), Jackie Lastra (English)

  • Action Girl: She's obsessed with working out and building muscle.
  • Beyond the Impossible: Fairies are normally unable to change their bodies according to the natural laws of homeostasis. Scintilla somehow managed to defy that and become muscular through raw effort and determination.
  • Big Eater: She eats massive amounts of protein and carbs to fuel her workout routines.
  • Charles Atlas Superpower: She worked out hard enough to become the physically strongest fairy to ever exist.
  • Determinator: She dedicated herself to building muscle despite it supposedly being physically impossible for her species. She just kept trying until she somehow pulled it off.
  • Dumb Muscle: She's strong, but not exactly blessed in the smarts department. In World 13, she and the Knight find themselves taking on a trial to seek the Chosen One through testing their dodging abilities with non-stop exploding bombs around them. As she is a fire harpy, she will just keep setting off the bombs around her without a chance to dodge but is led to believe that she just doesn't have enough faith in her muscles to overcome the trial.
  • Elemental Embodiment: Her spirit race, the fire harpies, are a subset of fairies and fire elementals that have physical bodies. While they're normally frail due to the enforcement of homeostasis — a natural resistance to bodily change — onto their kind, Scintilla made herself strong and durable through sheer effort.
  • Elemental Punch: She ignites her fists and feet before striking a target.
  • Flaming Hair: When particularly excited, her hair ignites at the tips.
  • Genki Girl: She's extremely energetic and so eager to get into action that she almost never thinks before she rushes off to act.
  • Hero-Worshipper: She idolizes Marvin for his extremely muscular physique.
  • Hot-Blooded: Scintilla has much more passion than sense.
  • Hot Wings: Her wings constantly emit embers from their tips, showing her fire-elemental nature.
  • Innocently Insensitive: She can get so excited about people's muscles that she often jumps to groping the muscles of that person without asking.
  • Kick Chick: Flaming, flying kicks are her favorite attack method.
  • Lovable Jock: Scintilla is obsessed with building muscle, but is never egotistical or intentionally rude. Instead, she remains helpful and encouraging towards others, complementing them on their own musculature.
  • Muscles Are Meaningless: For all her talk of building muscle and her strength, Scintilla has very little in the way of visible definition or muscle mass.
  • No Sense of Personal Space: When she finds someone muscular enough to get her attention, she immediately starts feeling the body part that she finds most impressive while gushing over its musculature. Her sheer excitement renders her blind to the obvious discomfort this causes the other person.
  • Odd Friendship: She hangs around with fellow young fairy and self-proclaimed "professional slacker" Aoba in A Christmas "Carol" to build snowmen. Mostly because Scintilla's innate body temperature makes it impossible for her to work with snow herself.
  • Really 700 Years Old: She's over 120 years old but roughly equivalent to a human in their late teens by harpy standards.
  • The Thing That Would Not Leave: After failing her trials, Scintilla decided to stay with the Cult of the Chosen One so she could learn how to have faith in her muscles from them. Her hot-blooded attitude and destructive antics make her a constant headache for Veronica and her fellow believers.

    The Bound Child Clara
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/claragl.png
All hail the Chosen One! And my sister Archpriestess!
Clara during the events of Dungeon Link
A young girl bound to a wheelchair, with large arms equipped with crossbows attached to it, who has somehow managed to live for more than 500 years as a human. She's considered to be the Cult of the Chosen One's Saintess and "Weapon". Her ego has been broken due to an unknown incident and has since followed Veronica and her cult mindlessly. She is VERY implied to be the young cleric that the Hero Kaden went on a world-saving adventure with 500 years ago.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: Human
Age: 517
Height and weight: 140cm/32kg
Element: Fire
Role: Ranged
Exclusive Weapon: Paimon's Fragment III
Voiced by: Yukari Tamura (Japanese), Erica Mendez (English)

For what she once was, see the Main Page.

  • Break the Cutie: Whatever cause it was, it seems that something happened to Clara within the last 500 years that broke her spirit and turned her into an emotionless shell of her former self. It turns out the cause was Veronica's torture to her which made her into this.
  • Canon Immigrant: She's known as Clara the Cleric, one of Kaden's companions in Dungeon Link.
  • Church Militant: She's the top weapon of the Cult of the Chosen One. Burning nonbelievers is one of the few things that gives her anything resembling a sense of joy.
  • Empty Eyes: Evident in her illustration, as a result of Break the Cutie and brainwashing by Veronica.
  • Empty Shell: Has lost her sense of self and turned into a puppet for Veronica's cult, using her as a missionary and a trump card. The cause is the torture and brainwashing from Veronica and may have happened sometime after being captured by her.
  • Hidden Buxom: Whatever happened to her notable chest for it to seemingly disappear 500 years later? Actually, she de-aged into a child with the side effects of Holy Magic keeping her alive.
  • Human Weapon: Clara seems to have lost nearly all of her humanity and exists solely as a weapon to be aimed at enemies of the Cult of the Chosen One. She is strapped to a gruesomely designed, heavily armed (figuratively and literally) wheelchair with all four real limbs strapped down as a visual representation of her lack of any purpose in life beyond torture or killing.
  • Really 700 Years Old: She's over 500 years old, but looks and sounds like a young girl. If anything, she looks younger than she did five centuries ago in Dungeon Link. She slept over 500 years through Hypersleep until Veronica woke her up and captured her,
  • Torture Technician: She's often employed to punish the enemies of the cult or "test" Chosen One candidates.
  • Undying Loyalty: She exists to serve Veronica's cult. Protectiveness of Veronica and eagerness to turn her weapons on enemies of the cult are some of the only emotional drives Clara seems to still have.

    Sword of Werebeasts Rey
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/reygl.png
Now this dag gon place is under the Tooth and Fang!
A weresheep swordswoman living in Demon Shire. First seen as an NPC in World 14, she leads a werebeast organization called "Tooth and Fang", whose primary goal is to form a nation for werebeasts, by werebeasts. She is greatly protective of her fellow werebeasts, and they greatly respect her in return.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: Weresheep
Age: 26
Height and weight: 163cm/60kg
Element: Fire
Role: Warrior
Exclusive Weapon: Heavenly Protection
Voiced by: Aina Aiba (Japanese), Antonia Flynn (English)

  • Counter-Attack: Rey can use her Retaliation ability to enter a counter stance for about a second. The first attack that hits her during this window is negated and the attacker takes 50% DPS damage.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: She is first introduced in a sidequest during the Demonshire arc before first becoming a playable character in China during their first anniversary, then becoming playable everywhere else except Japan around a month later.
  • Fighting for a Homeland: Her goal is to unite the oppressed werebeasts so they can create a land for themselves to live in peace.
  • Fights Like a Normal: Most werebeasts can use weapons well enough, but tend to rely on the strength of their animal forms in a serious fight. Rey, on the other hand, fights entirely in her human form and uses her swordsmanship alone to win.
  • Game Face: She can quickly shift her face into a menacing, sharp-toothed form when she wants to intimidate others.
  • Girlish Pigtails: Her hair is tied up as large pigtails. Seemingly so that it doesn't get tangled in her horns.
  • Hartman Hips: Her hips are much wider than most characters.
  • Iaijutsu Practitioner: Her fighting style has her sheathing her sword to start her combos. She also charges up more powerful strikes by sheathing her sword beforehand.
  • Little Bit Beastly: Like all werebeasts, she has aspects of her animal side even when she's in human form. In her case, it's her curled sheep horns and rapidly-growing white woolly hair.
  • Southern Belle: She has a very strong southern accent and the mannerisms to match in her English version. The subsequent Japanese voiceover for World 14 would later have her using Kansai-ben to invoke this trope in a pretty similar way.
  • Stop Being Stereotypical: She tries to prevent other werebeasts from attacking non-werebeasts to prevent them from damaging their reputation more than it already has been. This is made worse by opportunistic Innuits committing crimes while calling themselves werebeasts to help themselves get away.
  • Textile Work Is Feminine: Rey knits clothing from her own rapidly-growing wool-like hair.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: As a werebeast, Rey can shift between her human and sheep forms at will.

    Destroyer Pymon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pymongl.png
"Who's the MVP and why are they asking me to pose!"
One of the four Demon Gods, alongside Bellial, Crosselle, and Andras. Under Queen Lilith's binding contract, he's currently partially possessing the body of Reynai, a meek and shy Demon town girl. As a consequence of said possession, Reynai's body is turned from a dainty little girl to a hulking masculine body, much to her despair. Much like Andras, Pymon is a little hard to control, always seeking out fights and ways to show off his immense strength, usually at the expense of his host's dignity.
Rarity: 3-star
Species: Demon God
Age: Unknown
Height and weight: 198cm/130kg (as Pymon)
Element: Fire
Role: Tanker
Exclusive Weapon: Planet Destroyer
Voiced by: Hitomi Ueda (Japanese), Ellen Dubin (Pymon, English), Corina Boettger (Reynai, English)

  • Accidental Misnaming: Pymon is not good with names. She calls her host "Rebecca", sometimes even "Ramy", even though she constantly reminds her in their shared noggin that her name is "Reynai".
  • Affably Evil: Pymon was a malicious force of nature that once ruled the world with the other three Demon Gods. Now she seems less like an apocalyptic tyrant and more like a friendly, if destructive, dimwit. She doesn't even seem to mind serving her former archenemies.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: She may be dumb and her relationship with Reynai is a bit amusing, but Pymon's still a Demon God more than capable of flattening all but the strongest mortals. According to Crosselle, if she didn't take the time to introduce the Knight and Little Princess to her, she'd have crushed them with no hesitation.
  • Blood Knight: Pymon's usually bored if she doesn't have someone or something to smash.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: Pymon is a loud woman who enjoys her strength and good fights.
  • Boring, but Practical: Pymon's moveset and attack patterns are nothing to write home about, but she has practicality as a new tanker unit, a class that hasn't seen a new addition for a good while until her release.
  • Boxed Crook: Pymon is only allowed to act under Lilith's orders.
  • Casting Gag: In the English dub, Reynai's voice actress Corina Boettger has also (and still does) voiced a much more iconic Paimon in another gacha game.
  • Cursed with Awesome: Reynai being possessed by Pymon inherently gives her monstrous strength worthy of a Demon God put on a leash, at the cost of her body potentially never returning to its original form due to said Demon God being incredibly muscular in appearance, coupled with Lilith's contract effectively making her a person-shaped can for her.
  • Cool and Unusual Punishment: Reynai considers Pymon's possession of her as this, as it fully morphs her petite body to a very muscular one.
  • Dragons Are Demonic: Like her contemporaries, Pymon can shapeshift into a dragon, but rarely uses this power as Reynai's body can't take the strain for long.
  • Dumb Is Good: She's by far the dumbest of the Demon Gods, but also the most amicable. This doesn't mean she won't crush someone on a whim, but she is quite friendly to those who she's been specifically told to not flatten.
  • Dumb Muscle: Pymon's by far the physically strongest of the Demon Gods, but by far the least intelligent. Without constant instruction, she'll run off on a whim, but her sheer power makes her invaluable as a sentient blunt instrument.
  • Fire, Ice, Lightning: Pymon represents the "fire" portion of an elemental trio with Andras and Crosselle.
  • Forgetful Jones: Pymon doesn't retain information well at all. If she's given instructions, she'll have completely forgotten about them within the next five minutes. Luckily, Reynai can remind her of what they're supposed to be doing, provided that Pymon's not too distracted by battle or the joy of smashing random objects in her path when her host tries to get her attention.
  • Girly Bruiser: On Lilith's suggestion, Reynai was given control of their body and told to enter a martial arts tournament to better understand Pymon's interests. She adapted surprisingly well and easily won.
  • The Kid with the Leash: Reynai acts as both a conscience and director for the blunt and dim Pymon. They have an overall amicable relationship, but Reynai's too meek to make Pymon listen to her often.
  • Magically-Binding Contract: Lilith has control over Pymon thanks to tricking her into signing one with her. It limits her power and forces her to obey in exchange for keeping a living body.
  • Muscles Are Meaningful: Pymon is on par with Marvin for sheer bulk and is almost certainly the physically strongest character in the cast.
  • No Sense of Direction: Pymon's usual approach to finding mission objectives is to run off in a random direction until she eventually stumbles upon it.
  • Odd Couple: Reynai is a meek young girl that takes pride in her delicate appearance and cutesy style of dress. Pymon is a bostrious, dimwitted god who loves being strong and looking for a good fight. Together, they're dysfunctional engine of destruction in a frilled dress that is just as likely to wrestle the biggest enemy in sight into submission as they are to collapse in tears from sheer embarrassment.
  • Playing with Fire: Pymon can conjure intense blasts of fire. She mostly uses it to enhance her physical blows.
  • Powers via Possession: Pymon grants Reynai her immense strength, stamina, and durability. To Reynai's horror, that power comes with Pymon's size and physique.
  • Pronoun Trouble: Pymon's case is odd: since Dungeon Link didn't exactly have voice acting, people couldn't really tell if Pymon is a guy or a girl. Come Guardian Tales, the Demon God you'd expect as male is constantly referred to in dialogue with she/her pronouns and also got a female voice actor in the English dub. It may be due to the fact that Pymon possesses a young girl's body, but it only adds to the confusion towards Pymon's perceived gender.
  • Retired Monster: Pymon was once one of the tyrannical rulers of the world. Now, she's just fine following Lilith's orders so long as she gets to have fun smashing things.
  • Sharing a Body: Pymon inhabits Reynai's body. She's the dominant personality, but cedes control back to Reynai on occasion.
  • Shrinking Violet: Reynai is a timid, quiet girl by nature, so having Pymon in her body is a source of constant stress. Despite Pymon being more agreeable than some of her contemporaries, Reynai's rarely able to muster up the force of will to make her listen instead of charging ahead.
  • Textile Work Is Feminine: To foster better cooperation, Lilith asked Reynai and Pymon to try each other's hobbies. As Reynai is a consummate girly girl, Pymon was assigned to Reynai's usual sewing hobby while Reynai herself was made to join a martial arts tournament. The destroyer god took to sewing surprisingly well.
  • There Was a Door: Doors don't seem to be a concept Pymon is familiar with when she has convenient walls to smash through instead.
  • Transformation of the Possessed: Much to her horror, Reynai goes from a delicate young girl to a hulking muscle woman thanks to Pymon. It's a sore spot for her, as she fears that her body may never return to normal even if Pymon's spirit was somehow extracted from her.
