    Robbers' Killer Lina
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lina.jpg
Cat or king, whoever picks a fight with me can bite me!
Full name "Lina Inverse", she's the genius sorceress that is regarded as "part hero, part menace". After a dimensional rift sends her and her friends to Kanterbury 9 years before the events of the main storyline, she begins her new quest of finding a way back home.
Rarity: 3-star (Collab)
Species: Human
Age: Unknown
Height and weight: 147cm/?kg
Element: Fire
Role: Ranged
Exclusive Weapon: Demon's Blood Talisman
Voiced by: Megumi Hayashibara (Japanese)

  • Anti-Hero: Much like her original depiction, she cares about adventures and money first, the people's well-being second.
  • BFS: Her exclusive weapon's weapon skill, Ragna Blade, has her slamming a massive magical sword into the ground, inflicting a guaranteed stun to most enemies if they take the full brunt of said attack, but it takes out most of Lina's mana, justifying the very long weapon skill cooldown time. During the fight with Phibrizzo, she manages to summon Ragna Blade despite exhausting most of her own mana after being sent great amounts of mana from the newbie Guardian Eva, which in itself comes from Kanterbury's mana towers that power the castle town.
  • Berserk Button: Don't ever ridicule her or poke at her ego and short stature, for you may find yourself in front of her most devastating Dragon Slave yet.
  • Black Mage: Even though her exclusive weapon is classified as a "gauntlet", her main attack style is casting spells from afar.
  • Having a Blast: Constantly desires to solve her problems with Dragon Slave, a devastating explosion spell that can destroy even the sturdiest of structures.
  • Magnetic Hero: Her Ragtag Bunch of Misfits party consists of a scatterbrained swordsman, a princess, a human "chimera", and a priest who served who is essentially the Demon Lord.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Her infamy with attacking robbers for easy cash and quick satisfaction earned her the title "Robbers' Killer", making any low-level crook shudder just at the mention of her name.
  • Odd Friendship: Forms a short-lived one with the newbie Guardian Eva while tracking down the culprit behind the kidnappings.

    Master Swordsman Gourry

If it doesn't matter especially, let's follow what Lina says.
Full name "Gourry Gabriev", he's Lina's trusted bodyguard. He's a bit of a dunce, but he means well and even has a great talent for swordsmanship.
Rarity: 3-star (Collab)
Species: Human
Age: Unknown
Height and weight: 182cm/?kg
Element: Light
Role: Warrior
Exclusive Weapon: Sword of Light
Voiced by: Yasunori Matsumoto (Japanese)

  • Dumb Blonde: He's noted to be very handsome and attractive...as long as he doesn't open his mouth to say something stupid.
  • Moveset Clone: He's often compared a lot to fellow two-handed sword wielder Beth, from their attack animations to their chain skills. As a result, he's referred to by fans as "Light Beth".
  • Ship Tease: Despite being Book Dumb and often lacking in common sense, he'll always remember every single detail about Lina. This is carried over from the original source material.
  • Undying Loyalty: Towards Lina.

    Priest Xellos
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xellos.jpg
A mazoku priest accompanying Lina and her friends. His goals often coincide with them, but he isn't exactly a hero in the greatest sense of the word.
Rarity: 3-star (Collab)
Species: Demon
Age: Unknown
Height and weight: Unknown
Element: Dark
Role: Support
Exclusive Weapon: Xellos' Staff
Voiced by: Akira Ishida (Japanese)

  • Ambiguously Evil: He's happily as morally ambiguous as possible.
  • Crossdresser: During the Slayers collab story, players can make him wear a Qipao, in reference to the original anime. Once acquired, players can also have him wear said costume outside of the story.
  • Eldritch Abomination: Within that "human" body lies a monstrous existence that craves for the world's destruction.
  • Eyes Always Shut: He and Lorraine are practically the same character: abominable beings that always have their eyes closed, and their allegiance is sometimes put into question.
  • Our Demons Are Different: Mazoku are demonic spiritual beings born from, and feed on, humanity's negative energy, dead set on conquering the world, greatly different from Guardian Tales's resident Demon race.
