This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

There was a weird thing going on with the fixed namespace pages where they weren't showing up on watchlist or Related Pages, but editing the page seems to fix that. So I've done that for each of them.
On Complete Monster, please cut the Maze Meister quote and replace the Disney namespace with the WesternAnimation namespace.

On Locked Pages, two things:
- As noted above, Recursion should be on there. Perhaps something like "People repeatedly changed it into a Self-Demonstrating Article by making it redirect to itself, which isn't useful to anyone."
- Laconic.Traitor Shot should be removed from the list, since it isn't locked.

From YMMV.Death Battle, please reomove "* MemeticLoser: Enough to have its [[MemeticLoser/DeathBattle own page]]." and replace the MemeticLoser link from "[=[[MemeticLoser the series only ever brings up to make fun of]]" with TakeThat.
Per ATT, everyone who replied to the linked inquiries agreed MemeticLoser.Death Battle should be cut as all examples were misuse. Memetic Loser is about fans unfairly exaggerating their loser reputation, but the page is all about objective losses from the work having nothing to do with fans exaggerating the losses. And the linked is how the series treats the work, not fans, so also misuse.

In American Political System, I suggest replacing this image
◊ in the section on gerrymandering. The thing is, that earmuffs district isn't used for partisan advantage, it's used to give the Hispanic population of Chicago their candidate of choice. here's a Last Week Tonight clip explaining it, but the gist of it is that there are two pockets of Hispanic population of Chicago large enough to form their own community of interest, but are separated by a swathe of non-Hispanic population. Thus, the district has a thin line with few people in it to connect the two halves.
Also, the district is from the last round of redistricting, and hasn't been in effect since the 2013 elections. I'd suggest replacing it with this district, Maryland's 3rd congressional district. It is still in effect, is even more ridiculous looking than the current one, and is actually used for partisan advantage.
Playboy Magazine is shutting down, per this article.
Probably merits an edit on the Playboy page.
