This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

I wasn’t around for Heroes in Crisis but 3 years is a decent amount of time and if the complaining issues are no longer a problem, I think it can be unlocked. I’ll ask the other mods for input.

Double posting to say that unlocked YMMV.Heroes In Crisis has been unlocked as I have managed to get feedback regarding it and there doesn’t appear to be any existing issues. If it attracts complaining again, we can revisit this decision.

- In Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, Kotoko intends to force herself on Komaru and puts her in a torture device that continually gropes her until she likes it. In the Non-Standard Game Over, a blushing Komaru states she "doesn't hate it" and Kotoko tells the player "Access beyond this point is prohibited, so... Game Over!"

Done to here. I didn't make Spark because only one of those actually directly shares the name "Spark". Malady, we shouldn't be making disambigs for one work with that name and a bunch of tangentially related things. I've said this already, but just let the search bar do its job for cases like that. Ambiguity Index should only have pages that are actually needed — per the top of the page, "Similarly Named Works and adaptations and remakes with their own pages."
VideoGame.Pokemon Legends Arceus hasn't seemed problematic so far, so holding off on that lock for now.

HarsherInHindsight.Real Life is (understandably) locked, but now that it is merged with "Funny Aneurysm" Moment, I was wondering if all the examples that remain listed in FunnyAneurysmMoment.Other can be dumped onto that page. I looked through all the remaining examples and they all seem valid to me. I can go ahead and redirect that page to the main Harsher in Hindsight page once it's emptied out.

I hate to interrupt a request with one of my own, but I have to say this.
The YMMV.Heroes In Crisis entry on Administrivia.Locked Pages has been labeled as temporary. However, that label has stuck for over 3 years at this point. Therefore, I would like to request one of two things:
1) Either the entry is to be edited to reflect the lock being made permanent, or
2) The page is to be unlocked.
Considering the aftereffects of the comic (particularly those regarding Wally West) have diminished over time, I prefer the latter option. What do you guys think?
