It's been discussed a lot at the Video Uploading
thread that a lot of poor videos are slipping through the cracks, and that a clean-up effort is necessary if we are to combat the problem.
Common issues are:
- Videos spoiling major events from a work
- Videos not actually fitting the trope they're attached to
- Videos in which the important part doesn't happen until halfway through, with the length being ultimately pointless
- Videos that use the entire work, breaking copyright; this can be done either with one video showcasing an entire short video, or multiple videos that add up to using the entire work in piecemeal.
- Videos lacking the proper media source, or any media source at all.
- General quality problems, like audio issues or artifacting.
So, we've got our work cut out for us; but this is at least a place to discuss problems and come to solutions.

Continuing from the NVEP discussion, I also think Screamer Prank and Sensory Abuse should have a video example blanket ban. I also remember being a pain in the neck whenever I wanted to bring up the latter.
I also think Administrivia.No Video Examples Please should be unlocked. It was intended to be temporarily locked due to questionable additions.

Yeah, I definitely remember disagreeing with additions like Gorn, because I felt like there was no way someone would watch a video for that trope on accident if they aren't into gore, but it was thrown on there regardless. I don't mind if we unlock the page again, but we can't go back to slapping NVEP on every trope some people are a bit sketched out about.

On the Cluster Bleep-Bomb page, the clip from the Big City Greens episode "Bleeped" doesn’t fit because there’s nothing censored out in the clip; it just uses the word “blort”.
Also, I have added Sound-Effect Bleep to Tropes Needing TRS because of its frequent misuse to refer to actual censor bleeps. Whenever it gets divided into separate tropes, some of the video examples will need their tropes changed. (The video example from The Powerpuff Girls (1998) is an example of what the trope originally meant, since all the bleeps are in-universe sound effects.)

Are you talking about a Fake-Out Opening or a mislabeled video? Because the latter can be fixed through moderation requests.
Thinking of uploading the scene starting here as a video example. (Basically, character bluffs their way past a guard by talking official-like and using a bunch of confusing acronyms.) Which one do y'all think should be the primary trope?

There's a lot of unsourced videos, a quick search reveals it to be from Film/InTheHeatOfTheNight. A bigger concern is the kingsceleb.com watermark in the upper right corner.

Are there any free things I could use to improve video quality? I'm trying to get some video examples from cartoons via reuploads on YouTube (they still have the channel bugs so hopefully we shouldn't get in legal trouble), but one in particular is noticeably grainy. I don't think it's enough to get the video taken down, but it's still annoying me.
Sandbox help wanted.
If you only want video editing software, I'd recommend OpenShot, but it sounds like you're asking for an Enhance Button.

Is there any way of changing the main trope of a video without deleting it? I think I might've uploaded a video assuming it fit one trope, but it fit another instead. It was the most recent video for Disneyesque that was actually Inkblot Cartoon Style.

Mods can do it. Just put in a request in the moderation thread. You could also add it as a secondary trope by editing the video.
Any thoughts on this? Otherwise I'll probably go with Bavarian Fire Drill.

Looking back at some old cringy posts of mine, should Screamer Trailer be NVEP? Those trailers rely on Jump Scares, which is NVEP as well.
