So Bad, It's Horrible is one of the more flame-bait-y parts of the site, so a cleanup thread is needed to ensure that works aren't added simply because someone doesn't like them.
If you want to list a work under this, keep the following in mind:
- The work must have very few fans or defenders (both genuine and ironic). It should fail to appeal to any type of audience.
- Being offensive in its subject matter isn't enough.
- It isn't horrible just because a certain critic disliked it, though their reviews can be used as sources and citations.
- The work should have notably poor reviews (e.g., less than 3/10 on IMDb, or single digit scores on Rotten Tomatoes)
- For a Moral Substitute to qualify, it cannot even appeal to its target demographic.
- Please be polite while writing and as much as possible, avoid falling into Complaining About Shows You Don't Like. Instead, focus on explaining why the work is horrible.

On Webcomics.Horrible:
- Gamer Chicks is a webcomic starring Suiren, a hyperactive Yaoi Fangirl and Gamer Chick, and Kirei, her snarky level-headed roommate, who discuss video games and have wacky misadventures. Most strips involve Suiren doing three things: (1) reassuring the viewer that she's "totally a girl and totally plays video games"; (2) fending off boys who are only interested in her "boobies"; and (3) shipping video game characters of the same sex. That last one is particularly weird, because she obsesses over it to the point of discussing it in casual conversation with complete strangers and shows little respect for or understanding of LGBT dynamics; anyone who brings up how strange this is "must be crazy or stupid". Outside of that, the plots range from pointless to completely pointless, or else dryly and humorlessly recite ancient jokes. The artwork is only slightly better than Sonichu's; it's a horrific collision of MS Paint, empty white backgrounds, and figures and faces ripped straight out of a bargain-bin "How to Draw Manga" book. It's also frighteningly Off-Model, often leaving it unclear what an object is supposed to be — most infamously, a crowd of people is represented by a single block of Cartoon Cheese. And it showed little to no improvement in its three-year run, going from this to this.
This entry is a bit too wordy. Would something like this do better?

Rewrite looks good
I legitimately can't tell what's horrible about the Bind Right ad, I'd cut it

Listen to my podcastHow much time needs to pass after a convention concludes before it’s eligible?
Because Twitchcon 2022 is going up in flames right now.
“Now! Let us engage in the art of deduction!”we wait a month. It seems to be quite the contender, but check back in November.
Once November 9th rolls around, this thread has a large collection of damning evidence towards this being a serious qualifier (as someone said, at least Dashcon didn't break bones when people jumped into its pit). But we should wait and not jump the gun, see if anyone defends anything, what other horror stories may reveal themselves, or what the official apology/statement (whether a good one or one for the Logan Paul book of bad apologies) given by Twitch is like. The whole situation is still VERY ongoing.

She/her. Profile pic is by Richard Michael Gomez @StarmansArt. Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkThe entry on Horrible.Live Action Films for Seltzer and Friedberg could do with a format fix and being condensed down. I've tried to fix it but those alone make it immensely difficult.
Very messy new Western Animation entry. Unsure on whether or not this qualifies but it should get a deep clean if it stays. The unironic use of "Cal-Arts Style" makes me want to barf.
- Le Monde Selon Kev. Is a French cartoon that aired on M6 in 2018 before disappearing into oblivion and it's understandable, like Hammerman it stars French comedian Kev Adams who is hated by the majority of French critics and was adapted into a cartoon, the cartoon, rip-off Titeuf, another french cartoon which has gained a cult following in france and has no charm, its character design is really terrible and rip-off the cal-arts style of some cartoons like Star vs. the forces of Evil, and like the majority of French cartoons, it is very mean spirited towards the main character and has episodes without originality. It is often cited as one of the worst French cartoons and holds a 2.8/10 on IM Db as well as a 2.7/10 on Senscritique.

Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkThe part about that entry that bugs me the most is that it claims that most French cartoons are unoriginal Sadist Shows. Even if we do keep the entry, we should at least remove that part.
He/they | Mostly here on my free daysAlso the grammar is pretty bad that it's hard to really understand what it's trying to convey
What should I do? I've never heard of the show until today.
She/her. Profile pic is by Richard Michael Gomez @StarmansArt. Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkWell, it's real, and the IMDB rating is low enough. Maybe the grammar and overall writing could be spruced up, the troper who added it is new.
I hid it.
She/her. Profile pic is by Richard Michael Gomez @StarmansArt. Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkBoth Dorbees and Joshua and the Promised Land have SBIH entries even though I’m pretty sure both are more considered SBIG.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?Joshua I can understand, but is Dorbees on the whole really SBIG? I think only Mr. Poe and Yogul might have that appeal, and the rest seems to be considered generally unappealing, but maybe it's just that I only saw one review of it years ago.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. This song that the thread voted to cut was re-added six months after the cut. I've cut it once more.

I'd like to apologize for all this.Does Film.Cool Cat Saves The Kids qualify? No, I'm not coming here because of the controversy involving its director. I'm more thinking how its general production values are pretty bad and its aesops are broken or flat-out misguided.
<(0_0<) <(0_0)> (>0_0)> KIRBY DANCENah, Cool Cat is totally So Bad, It's Good. Many of these memes about the film and franchise play off the film's ridiculous production values and the very silly direction choices. It's funny.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I'd say Dorbees can stay as it's generally regarded as awful and not really in an amusing way (to my knowledge at least). Cool Cat is probably closer to So Bad, It's Good. That glitched song from Action 52 can be removed again (its flaws are mostly the results of inconsistent glitches).
Not sure about Joshua and the Promised Lands. Its fans are mostly ironic and probably fans of Saberspark (who gave the film most of its attention and softened up to the film over time). On the other hand, It's clearly poor quality and an Old Shame for its creator.

Having watched Cool Cat, I agree that it's So Bad, It's Good.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Cool cat is absolutely SBIG. Yes, it fails at filmmaking in almost every way, but it does so in a way that's funny, rather than boring or annoying. (Contrast with After Last Season, which also makes a ton of filmmaking errors and is boring at best.) It's quotable, provided the internet with countless memes (THAT KID KICKED SAND IN COOL CAT'S FACE!), and fun to watch and riff on with friends. It's fun even to try explaining what it's about (and why it's so bad) to someone who's never heard of it. Cool Cat doesn't deserve Horrible status.
Aren't the songs in Dorbees generally considered to be unironic Awesome Music? Would that on its own disqualify it from being SBIH?
Edited by Zuxtron on Oct 20th 2022 at 2:42:49 PM
I think you can have a SBIH entry if one aspect is good. The Emoji Movie has decent animation but the rest of the movie is godawful. The Lord of the Rings SNES has beautiful music but the game is virtually unplayable.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last? The songs are good, but everything else is totally incompetent
Just made a server on discord.Come join me.I'd like to suggest something for Horrible.Tabletop Games, under Card Games.
- Redakai was an attempt by SpinMaster to capitalize on the popularity of Bakugan. While its tie-in cartoon was considered So Okay, It's Average, the same can't be said for the game itself. Cards were made of clear plastic with lithographic designs that would "animate" as the cards were moved, allowing the cards to layer their effects by being stacked on each other. This was at best a Dancing Bear, but was a massive detriment to gameplay. There was no unified card back design, meaning cards had to be stored in a specialized black container (sold separately of course)... which didn't work, since you could still see most of the top card of your deck. The material costs also meant starter decks and boosters were more expensive than its competitors, making it harder to convince people to buy the game. Design aside, game balance itself was atrocious and clearly untested. There were several cards that could let you take an Extra Turn at no cost, as well as one-sided floodgates that would lock the opponent out of the game. There was even an infinite loop OTK that could be done as early as turn 3, all the pieces of which were found in one starter deck. Despite the huge marketing push, Redakai floundered around for six months before being cancelled entirely.
EDIT: I'm gonna add this soon. Last call for feedback.
EDIT 2: I added it, with a few phrasing tweaks to make it a bit clearer.

We previously agreed on Wiki Talk (in the thread that decided whether SBIH is mutually exclusive with SBIG) that it's possible for a work's SBIH status being restricted to part of the work instead of all of it, with other parts not being SBIH.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.
This is on Horrible.Advertising.
Does this really count as horrible? It just sounds like a standard false advertising clickbait web ad, and the entry doesn't go into any detail about public response or damage to the company.
