Also, Inactive, 9k1 already offered to be the host.

Psyche and I inspected two saves, and both turned out to be duds. So the former has officially taken over as runner.

EDIT: Running's taking a while, so Arena Events have been disabled.

EDIT 2: Psyche has sent the save to Billy for screening!

Happy Death Battle, everyone! Kinda disappointed that it's not in the 74th like how one of the Battle Royales was in the OG, but good luck to everyone here, especially to those who are significant in the RPs! Also... why do I hear a certain tribute here? Because I'm gonna be posting nothing but Boss Music this season!

Battle Music: Undertale - Megalovania (Smash Version) Extended

• Bloodbath
  • As always, most of the tributes grab supplies or make a run for it. However...
  • This is Fine Dog thinks that he'll be fine with all his "lucky" memorabilia.
  • Mikey immediately finds something that mitigates his need for his wheelchair. Not saying that he'll ditch it, though.
  • Boss Music finds one future where it triumphs as Final Boss Music.
  • Yuliy disturbs Alatreon on its podium, causing it to kick up a thunderstorm with its scales. This injures Yuliy, but his blood splashes on the dragon's eyes, giving him a distraction for his escape.
  • Despite that, however, Infinity just meditates on his podium. Hopefully this'll calm him down from his time in the Troper/Nominator Games...
  • BTS vs. Jade in a 7-on-1 boxing match! Ding! It's a tie!
  • Get ready to run, Soldier-Dragon Wolf, 'cause here comes the vampire... DIO!
  • Voldemort tries following Infinity's footsteps, but Theron just shoots him with those metal wands of his. RP!Jimin, rejoice!
  • It was knife to meet ya, Thomas!
  • Nightmare challenges Bandana Dee to a cup shuffling game, but B. Dee just hits him with his spear and steals everything underneath.
  • Dragon!Maleficent tells Orin to get ready to kill... so the latter can cart the corpses off to Hell.
  • Bob forces Lucifer to share. What are you teaching the Christian kids?!
  • I'd question Genm's ability to strangle a notebook, but said notebook's anthro, so that renders it moot.
  • Eris does what a chaos goddess does: trick a doggo into lowering his guard before killing him.
  • Stinky popcorn, anyone? No one? Okay then.
  • Leeroy tries Leeroying himself into one of those futures Boss Music scanned, and it ends just as well as you'd expect.
  • Urbosa is the third tribute to do that future scanning thing, and she has better luck than the last two.
  • Which Nintendo tribute will die first? Place your bets!
  • Navi ascends from taunt element to playable Smash character!
• Day 1
  • Well Spider-Ham, Reznov just killed Leeroy earlier, so you better watch out!
  • Since when did Brick get his own Embarrassing Nickname?
  • Did Alatreon need a ladder, though?
  • Paper Bowser used Flamethrower! It's Super Effective! Gigantamax Butterfree died!
  • Jade receives beef jerky lightly irradiated T-BONE STEAK for Becquerel.
  • Maleficent, Mistress of All Evil, uses her magic to drain Hardcase of his! Wait a minute... since when did Clone Troopers run on magic?
  • Hey, listen! Hey, listen! I helped Jimin kill Voldemort in that one season, so you better run!
  • Yuliy eats some Power-Up Food to level up and heal himself after that fight with the Elder Dragon.
  • Mikey presses a button on his wheelchair to activate a surfboard underneath. He does some wheelchair-friendly tricks with it... and wins BTS's favor in the contest! I call rigged!
    • For Alt!Mikey, this was nothing but a miracle for him, given that Jimin's still a villain there.
  • Well, it's DIO, and things will get crazy if he ain't gettin' his snacks!
  • Oh Shi-Long, Eraserhead's far from lame, he's a Cool Teacher!... Other than the times he broke his hero code in the Arena, but still!
  • Aemon sings two    EDGY    songs. Oddly unusual for a Nice Guy like him, but oddly fitting for the darkness of Westeros.
  • First, stink bombs, and now, Wasteland armor? This Experiment's got some sweet loot!
  • Bob isn't fine with his accent being imitated.
  • Urbosa tries making more Zoras.
  • Why receive a Gravity Gun... when you can just make one with that Power Ring of yours?
  • And after everything that happened today, you still find it boring, Shriek? This is only the first day, lady!

Dave changed the pics while he was running the season. He just prefers official artwork/transparent renders.

Anyway for the season, that's a particularly nice variation of the common short and punny hosting style. I also like how you get your commentary for Orin in the Bloodbath spot on. That research is great. And I also like the integration of the regular and RP parts of HGS too.

And as for my tributes, good start for both. Not sure how Scolippi judges that, but I suppose it has something to do with fate

  • What did BTS do?!?! Beta!Nightmare may be on to something, though...
  • Genm comes across GMax Butterfree's charred corpse and laughs at it. Shriek shrieks with laughter along with Scolippi, Aemon, and Wiggins.
  • Obligatory Snow death, courtesy of DIO!
    • I'd also keep a Coin Death Counter, but Snow's the real punching bag here.
  • Apparently Hardcase likes the typical breakfast foods, and this is fine.
  • Kylo gets Sarged!... In the pettiest way possible.
  • A jazzy Villain Song set to the tune of Speak Up, Pup? Oh yeahhh...
  • Yuliy drinks a strange elixir that lets him see into the future for a while. He sees someone offering him to rule the Arena with them...^H/N According to my research, this is apparently the Touhou equivalent of SAVING, but I'm going with what's being described here.
  • The Facts of Life, set to the tune of Boss Music!
  • Classroom shenanigans at Billy's Business School! Will he expel Paper Bowser for daring B. Dee to impale him so the latter can suck his blood? Let's find out... only in ASAS!
  • Theron tries shooting Infinity with his blaster pistols. He's nearly got him, but Infinity finds an idol and hopes that it'll grant him immunity. It's real, and he survives this round.
  • Mikey gets his 90s laptop and plays good ol' Civ II with the others, including a car.
  • Urbosa enters one of those temples where stepping on special tiles messes with gravity. Oops, one tile sends her flying straight into the Forcefield.
  • Eris suggests to her fellow villain that she take a vacation to her realm, where she has a casino for villains. However, Maleficent has other ideas.
  • Ene finds the Resurrection Stone and calls upon Thomas's ghost just to mess with him.
  • RoboKing rolls up some toilet paper, then rolls himself up inside to be a mummyball.
  • Brick catches wind of what Navi did to Orin and crushes the smol fairy with a road roller. Jimins, what you say about this?
  • Speaking of Orin, she gets turned into a pony and is strangled by a hero code-violating Eraserhead.
  • For the last time, it's "KER-null", not "KOH-lo-nel"! Besides, his name's not spelled like a certain Mr. Sanders'!
• Day 2
  • Scolippi lives like 2019!Joker. I guess it's what his fate's meant to be.
  • Lucifer sends Nightmare on a Snipe Hunt, and it ends in a nightmare. (rimshot)
  • SCANDALOUS! What did this precious Jade do? Thankfully it didn't involve that sort of thing, but still...
  • PLOT TWIST! Paper Bowser orchestrated Snow's execution by DIO!
  • This little popcorn popper plans on when to shoot Kylo with his weaponized popcorn...
  • Oh no, Alpha!BTS, don't go bullying chaos birbs like that! This means you, Suga!
  • Despite his blindness, Aemon manages to pinpoint Hardcase and freeze him in mid-air with a stunning beam.
  • Mikey plays tug-of-war on (with?) Brick while Boss Music plays in the background.
  • Alatreon rescues another tribute, and this time, it remembered it could fly!
  • Turns out that B. Dee did suck that blood out of Paper Bowser, and now Manga Movie Yoshi's using a sample of it to make some special bullets.
  • DIO thinks that heartwarming fics are mere JoJokes.
  • Maleficent takes after Wreck-it Ralph and wrecks a car. For some reason, the car's still functioning, but it's still battered up.
  • The Dog doesn't get the reference, and this is not fine.
  • RoboKing tries doing bomb disposal on Skarlet. She doesn't fall for it.
  • Oh no Felix, there's a naked kitty running around! Thankfully her other cats covered her up on her way back to camp.
  • As a "reward" for murdering a pone, Eraserhead receives the Return Postage Badge: the very same one that every Pokemon used on Deneve last season.
  • The future is revealed to Yuliy: it's Ene who's giving him the offer! He accepts it.
  • A veggie (technically fruit) cooking meat? Is this the plant equivalent of Carnivore Confusion?
  • Shi-Long, the closest holiday to this day is Thanksgiving. Get your holidays right!

• Night 2
  • This Boss Music needs more bells, and Infinity bravely volunteers to add them.
  • Alpha!BTS lassos Mikey and that wrecked car together, J-Hoping that their fren would repair it.
    • Beta!BTS does the same under Jimin's suggestion, because tying up a kid with damaged car parts definitely won't anger his family!
  • MM Yoshi makes random growling noises at the Dog, dropping the latter's defense. Not fine at all.
  • Again, Aemon uses his Improbable Aiming Skills to vaporize Eraserhead with eye beams, but has half the damage reflected back to him thanks to that badge. Not that the lasting blindness would affect this Targaryen... because he already is!
  • Apparently the mere presence of a certain K-Pop group's rubbing off on this birb. We've got a new ARMY, everyone!
  • Meowsketeer says, "my cute widdle kitty nose will grow now!" Due to a paradox, she gets a deadly nosebleed.
  • At least that wasn't a puppy that Wiggins ate. D:
  • Hey kids! It's Bob the Train! (shot for referencing a kid's YouTube channel)

  • Green Lantern has a message for the Fairy Queen, and Genm's on his way to deliver it! Too bad Shriek blasted him away with her sonic screams.

  • Scolippi reenacts the canonical Hunger Games as if it's his new fate.
  • Bomb disposal... via surgery? I hope I got that right...
  • I didn't know Elder Dragons liked Magical Girl Shows, let alone kill Clone Troopers for bringing up the emotional baggage that comes with them.

  • After repairing that car/undoing himself from it, Mikey suddenly gets cornered by Alatreon, which swings its Golden Hammer on him. Thankfully it's just a toy hammer.
  • Brick claims that Scolippi's terrible at murder. His point still stands.
  • Said car that Alpha!Mikey repaired tries to somehow do a body swap with Sarge. Thankfully it didn't go through with it.
  • And just when Theron was saved from the STEEL CHAIR OF DEATH, his plans get a spanner in the works, courtesy of RoboKing.
  • DIO gets his SNACCS, but they're not what he wanted.
  • The realistic Yoshi sticks an equally realistic Bob-Omb on Eris, but that chaos birb ain't havin' it!
  • Green Lantern, LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT Kagerou Project.
  • The Fairy Queen crosses a bridge to try asking Hal about the message, but Bob the Tomato Train cuts it off and drops her on Shriek.
  • Is that an SMT reference?!
  • Shi-Long relives Lang Zi's memories of him teaching his "philosophy of detainment" to the next generation.
  • The runner/savemaker would like to say sorry for misgendering Skarlet, and I'm sure she can do something about those wounds of hers.
  • Kernel joins Infinity's team... and so does Paper Bowser. Infinity makes a slow, grand, but sarcastic fanfare to celebrate.
  • Oh no, BTS somehow stumbled upon the Legion of Doom's lair and now they're paying the price for it!
