...Can a Marra affect artificial beings? Granted, all Nytos like this one have their Neural Clouds based on the brain scan of a human being, but would that be enough to affect her? There's also the fact that this particular Nyto is part of a Hive Mind; while not completely alien compared to a human mind, she does host the memories of other Nytos, and the nature of their Hive Mind means that she constantly attempts to integrate with other electronic device. I'd imagine it would be tricky for the Marra to probe her mind if she has to sift through several people's worth of experience, only to be interrupted because the Nyto accidentally connected to a random wi-fi network.
