Baahubali: The Beginning
Who watches the watchmen?I just got back from seeing Wreck-It Ralph 2. It was good, but to be honest, it wasn't quite as good as the previous one. I liked the first half of the movie more than the second myself.
The part with the Princesses only had a few laughs echoing through the auditorium. I knew it fell victim to Trailer Joke Decay. As I said on Facebook and YouTube, "Ehh, trailer guys, I think we get the idea by now. 'Hey look! The Disney Princesses you know and love are acting like the anime version of Erika! Uh, wacky, huh?! " It was the first dozen times we saw it. >.>
Update for today: I just finished watching Memento. That movie was weird.

I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Saw two films yesterday;
- Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Good, if a bit overhyped. Animation framerate takes a bit of getting used to.
- Mortal Engines: And once again a book I like, ends up adapted into a terrible movie that only just barely resembles the source material. Joy.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
She/they. Hirrus Clutumnus is my comfort characterMary and The Witch's Flower. I felt a strong urge to watch it today, and I'm glad I did. It's still as good as the last time I watched it. :)
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Saw Aquaman yesterday, it was great.
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. It was near-perfect.
Got back from seeing Bumblebee a couple hours ago, it was good, second best of the Transformers movies.
The Ipcress File, with Michael Caine and Nigel Green. Very much the anti-James Bond - gritty, realistic violence for the time it was made, and quite tightly plotted.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. It was on TV and I missed a whole half hour of it due to not knowing until my mum told me because I didn't check the bloody TV guide. I plan to make both my parents watch the whole thing with me on Christmas Day.
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It was fucking amazing.
She/they. Hirrus Clutumnus is my comfort characterI know it's not the right season for it, but I finally got around to watching The Serpent and the Rainbow. It was quite good. :) It's not every day that you see a horror movie with a happy ending, even if it does have to be earned.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Wreck-It-Ralph 2 - I thought it was pretty good it's not as the original but I'd say it's entertaining enough on it's own. I really liked how it focused on Ralph and Vanellope's relationship and didn't focus entirely on the internet too much. It's not gonna win everyone over but it's worth a look at least.
Watched Mary Poppins on tv last night. It was practically perfect in every way.
Finished watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on tv 50 minutes ago. Still a classic.
Home Alone 2. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!
One of my favorites. That movie is so good, even the tagline is funny: "He's up past his bedtime in the City that Never Sleeps."
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Technically not a movie, but I'll be rewatching the MST3K episodes with Santa Claus (1959) and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians as my yearly Christmas tradition. Hooray for Santy Claus! *cha cha cha!*
ETA: Just finished both. Merry Christmas (if that's okay) everyone!

Hey how you doing well I'm doing just fine I lied I'm dying insideJust wanted The Greatest Showman on TV (fun-fact the film was the last film I saw in theatres in 2017). Good, but not great. The plot is serviceable, but the supporting characters could have done with more fleshing out, the songs are way way better than I remember them being.
Part of Anniliation. Also Elf and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
I finally got around to watching Gothika. That was one dark and confusing movie.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.
