Removing Gushing from the Wiki

I agree to removing it because it's gushing and it doesn't seem needed to me.

This happens to be under the initial bullet saying ""We're going back in time to the first Thanksgiving to get turkeys OFF. THE. MENU." has developed this notoriety." Frankly, this part seems like a gushy and unnecessary extension of that bullet point than its own meme, plus there are plenty of other "goofy sentence becomes a meme" examples out there, so this looks like a "Not Making This Up" Disclaimer put where it's not needed. I haven't watched the movie nor the Schaffrillas Productions video about it, so I don't know if the whole "THAT'S RIGHT" thing is a reference to either one or not.

Why oh why is it in all caps

As someone who did watch the Schaffrillas vid about this movie, I can confirm that the extra bullet is an extension of the joke. Don't know if it counts as gushing based on this, but it's definitely unnecessary (it's just something extra that occasionally can be used in conjunction with the first time but not all the time).

Okay; having snooped around a bit more, the "That's right" repetition actually seems to be a bit of a running gag on all pages related to Free Birds, so… I guess the question is, How can we integrate this more organically?

The "That's right, repeat sentence" Running Gag seems to be added to the Free Birds pages after the Schaffrillas video was released. I'm not sure if they are necessary, especially since they aren't potholed to Schaffrillas Productions, so it'll be very confusing to those who don't watch his videos. If it is a genuine meme, it should have a note explaining it and its origins on either YMMV.Free Birds or YMMV.Schaffrillas Productions.

Checking the edit history, the Memetic Mutation entry was already there, but was updated to add the repeat after the Schaffrillas Productions video got uploaded. To be honest I kinda forgot that movie existed until his video so no comment about the legitimacy of the meme on its own.

It seems too recent and narrowly applied to definitely be a meme at this point. Seems like the whole thing was the work of an overzealous Schaffrillas fan. Not gushing (at least, not directly), but maybe could stand some cleanup on the whole. Perhaps we should refer this to another thread?

Since this is based on Gushing, perhaps one could explain Awesome Music? When checking the wicks, there are countless additions in each work's YMMV page despite having a separate Awesome Music Wikispace. Would it be more appropriate to transfer all the Awesome Music mentions in the YMM Vs to that namespace?

Yes, by What Goes Where on the Wiki, Awesome Music examples should go on its subpage or the media subpage (e.g. Western Animation). It's not heavily enforced, which is why you see them a lot on YMMV/.

WesternAnimation.Duck Tales 1987 had some serious gushing and an incredibly long note in the description. I rewrote it as best I could but there might be some in other parts of the article.

Of course it does, it is a great show.

You can probably cut the character list too, we have character pages already, after all.

I'll definitely take note of this. Because right now, the related tag has about a thousand of these on YMMV.

One thing that should be noted is that Awesome Music itself has been identified as a possible Trope Repair Shop candidate due to severe weblinks-as-context issues (along with dead links and copyright-violating third-party links) in entries, and has an ongoing wick check for that reason. (Apologies for all the links BTW, just wanted to make sure everything was crystal clear).

Awesome Music (and the moments namespaces in general) have been discussed previously due to the Sugar Wiki rule meaning that some of the moments are segregated with the others aren't. So there is an argument to be made that moments shouldn't be treated like other sugar wiki items, but that's, well, still an argument of course and currently doesn't line up with the rules.

That whole list should be either cut, covered more neutrally in the description (like the actors who have played him) or moved elsewhere (like Awesome Moments). This one is especially bad:

Uh, cum is also a Latin preposition meaning "alongside" or "with". When used to join two nouns like that, it's indicating that something is both of those things, so a general-cum-terrorist is the general of an insurgent army

Masquerading as a meme on Memes.RWBY is this:

• Dishwasher can see the future! ^Explanation This actually somewhat ties into the "Cyborg Jaune" meme/prediction from above. Over the last couple of years Dishwasher has become known as one of the best artists within the FNDM. He's also become known for making four predictions within his fanart that have come true. A week before the Penny/Pyrrha battle he posted this which was quickly noted to be a nearly 100% accurate prediction in regards to how it happened in the show. A few weeks later he posted Ruby facing down what appears to be a dragon based Grimm. Literally that very day we see a Dragon Grimm in series. Granted both those predictions could have been made by anyone with general knowledge of the series. However, the third prediction is the most amazing. Dish has done several pieces of "future" versions of various characters. One piece depicts a future version of Yang who had apparently lost her right arm. In the penultimate episode of Volume 3 we see Yang lose her right arm in a battle with Adam. What makes this more amazing is that the art for Yang was done EIGHT MONTHS before this happened in the show! Aside from hints that Ironwood might have a prosthetic hand there was almost nothing to go on regarding prosthetics being a major thing in canon until the middle of Volume 3. He also managed to predict that Yang would catch Adam's sword while her Semblance is active during their fight. Time will tell if anything else Dish has done comes true. However, as a result of those three pieces of artwork people have joked that they're going to stay away from his DeviantArt page from now on.

Note that some of the things this entry is talking about are things that the fandom as a whole had predicted. The only thing the artist did predict that stood out from the fandom was the Penny/Pyrrha fight, and that did become a meme. What I think this entry has done is take the original, actual meme and expand it to all the artwork just to gush about the artist, and shoehorn the art to existing fandom theories (for example, the Ruby v Dragon art is clearly based on Gandalf v Balrog, and the fandom long predicted dragons in theories and artwork because "fairy tale monsters" makes it an easy guess; Yang's cyberarm stopping the sword of the man who chopped off her arm is likewise something the fandom theorised and drew long before it happened — in both cases, the artwork either doesn't reflect what happened in canon, or only bears a passing resemblance that is no more accurate than other artwork).

I can't remember the exact wording of the original meme, but it was either the wording used here or "Dishwasher saw the future!". The original meme about that single piece of artwork did reach the creators, and they commented that they did see it after they'd produced the episode but before the episode came out and freaked out at how accurate it was, worried the fandom would think they'd copied the artist. But, it being expanded to the rest of the artwork? To this day, it's only the Penny/Pyrrha piece that does the rounds and gets picked up by (for example) new YouTube reactors.

The entry also refers to another meme on the page, which is this one:

• Cyborg Jaune ^Explanation Fans are comparing Jaune to Raiden, and are expecting him to be burned like his basis, Joan of Arc, only to be rebuilt as a cyborg.

Note that the Cyborg Jaune meme has nothing to do with this artist, but someone has shoehorned artwork by the artist into the entry, so this is another reason why I think we're dealing with gushing rather than a summary of a genuine meme.

My suggestion for salvaging the meme would be the following:

• Dishwasher can see the future! ^Explanation Dishwasher became famous within the fandom as an artist who predicted the outcome Volume 3's Penny/Pyrrha fight before it happened. After the episode came out, the fanart was lauded for just how accurate it was at depicting both the framing and mood of the canon outcome. When the meme reached the creators, they admitted that they saw the artwork just before the episode dropped and panicked because they feared everyone would think they'd copied the artist's work.

That seems like a decent rewrite, though maybe it would be worth adding like half of a sentence that says that the fandom thinks the artist predicted other elements of the show as well, even though they were already commonly theorized by the fandom, as you said.
