In that case, may I offer the name Lucinda for one of your characters?
I like to keep my audience riveted.That's...actually really good, I'll use that.
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"is knights of twilight good?
MIAI'm starting to write a story revolving around a trio of cave-men like beings who venture forth from their home to retrieve the son of the lead. I need a name for said son.
The trio thus far are named Ro (The Lead/ Father), Lieo (The Young Hunter) and Pahz (The Old Hunter). It should be noted that these beings are blue, alien deer-rabbit-monkey-mouse things.

Do you read Sutter Cane?I am looking for a name for the Big Bad of a tabletop campaign's slave knight things.
Belkhide The Soul Collector is basically an ancient Mage who at once made a deal with the Eight Dark Gods, and then immediately seized the power for himself rather than letting it be a simple boon to him. This...never happened before. They pretty much admitted he earned it for that little ploy, though many of their other minions despised him for lacking loyalty.
In the crossover-using RP, he took the souls of a whole race (granted, a race that was reviled in their original tabletop setting), and made them into little more than jewelry that activates his mechanical knights.
I now need a name for these mechanical knights, something that explicitly makes their connection to Belkhide obvious and subtly implies what exactly is within those jewels.
Wow. Thanks for the help.
- The anthraknights? (based on the word anthracite)
- The Harvested?
- The Cut? (referring to the cut of a gem)
I'm trying to come up with a name for a male, carnivorous, sapient, dinosaur, engineered using science to be about the size of a human, that walks on two legs and has full use of his arms. I'm looking for a masculine name that denotes strength, kind of in the name of Apollo, or something, but I'd like the name to be historically significant, like he's named after a paleontologist who discovered the T. rex, or something.
What's a good name for a mage that uses plasma. Not fire or sunlight.Plasma
so far I have plasa ma and pura.
For me, looking for names for two factions based on the Chinese and greek zodiac.
MIAPlasmancer, Plasmakinetic, Plasmatic.
The last one means nothing, it's just meant to sound cool.
Note to self: Pick less edgy username next time.@Will Keaton: Perhaps something related to Palaeontologist Jack Horner, (in particular his surname, "Horner")?
My Games & WritingCross-posting from the All Purpose Evangelion Fanfiction Thread, with some changes to add context for those who aren't familiar with the work or character:
I need an Extremely Descriptive and Poetic Name for a Warhammer Fantasy / Warhammer 40,000 Daemon that originates as an embodiment of the Pride, Lust, Envy, Hatred and Despair that were felt and/or acted upon by Neon Genesis Evangelion character Asuka Langley Soryu throughout the course of the storylineSummarized explanation , having essentially been a non-sapient Enemy Within for Asukanote until she fell victim to a Demonic Possession. After its birth, it would go on to serve as an Enemy Without, Evil Twin (when it can adopt a perfectly human-seeming form and has no need for disguise), and mutual Arch-Enemy for Asuka.
For guidelines about Warhammer Daemons' names, see here; what I'm looking for falls under the category of "Use-Names", which are frequently meaningful for the Daemon in question (the name "Festerguts", for example, obviously marks its possessor as a Daemon of Nurgle).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Malvagloria, the Ragged Angel.
Souryagos, the Insensate.
Is "Malvagloria" supposed to be a clever contraction of malus ("evil") and vanagloria ("vainglory")? Because that sounds neat. FWIW, I was thinking "The Vermillion Flame of Broken Glory" for a starting point.
BTW, here is a whole list of Daemon characters from WH40K for anyone who wants to get a better idea of how Daemon names tend to look like.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I apologize for interrupting, but I require names for my organizations in my stories.
Firstly, a name for a top-secret government organization dedicated to investigating, containing, researching and destroying supernatural threats, anomalous phenomena, fringe pseudoscience, paranormal items, occult practices, eldritch horrors and other subjects that are a threat to humanity.
Second, a official name and a codename for an US Senate Committee that is a proxy cover agency commissioned by the criminal terrorist organization via Vice President Joseph C. Dawson to investigate and capture escapee Theriomorphs from Megiddo that is a threat to them.
Finally, a organization founded on what remains of Megiddo during the Human-Theriomorph War aka the Great Holocaust to combat Theriomorphs. The name is supposed to have a official name and its codename based on the dark theme of fighting monsters with robots and werewolf references.
Up in Useful Notes/ParaguayHalf-serious thought for the first one: Bureau of Occult Unrest, can turn into an anagram that sounds like "boo". Might be too silly for what you're going for, but it might offer a starting point. Alternatively, the office of Paranormal Strategy and Investigation.
I'm trying to think of an organization's name, too. In this case it's more for a villain organization. Their gimmick is that they exploit the Sealed Evil in a Can trope, posing as demonic creatures so obviously powerful killing them is dismissed as impossible and instead the focus is on sealing them, with a seal that will wear off even if they don't get someone on the outside to break it. For the members I've named, I've been using Greek Mythology and anagrams as a base. So, for instance, "Nyres" as a play on "Siren" and "Daekin" as a play on "Echidna".
To this end, I'm trying to remember if there were any Greek myths featuring a human posing as a monster. The only thing that comes to mind is the Trojan Horse, which isn't quite what I'm after in terms of tone.
Alternatively, having recently thought of the name of the sealing spell (Seal of Redemet) as a play on "Demeter" (and sounding like Redemption) I wonder if a play on Hades or Tartarus wouldn't be too blatant. Then again, blatant would work since they're invoking the imagery themselves.

My first instinct based on Sealed Evil in a Can was Pandora, but I'm not sure how that would fit.
Anyways, I need a name for a group of super humans. Each superhuman has a color and a symbol on their body that indicates the type of superpowers they have, e.g. Purple indicates control of Psionics, like Telepathy, Mind Control, and rarely, Telekinesis. And I also need a name for the magic users or what passes for magic. I might call the former Chromas and the latter Prismas, but I need better names.

If not the villains maybe I can use a play on Pandora for the heroes. Or, at least, the group that generally fights these villains when they appear (the heroes strike out in their own path once they decide to put a permanent and to them) since they're basically stuffing these great evils back into the box.

I'm trying to come up with non-colloquial terms that make a distinction between a Ghost in the Machine and a full-on Split Personality (mostly the former, since the latter does have some already existent terms). Any ideas?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Does anyone have ideas for an evil speedster supervillain similar to Zoom/Reverse-Flash? My superhero story The Legends Among Us has three good speedsters so far: Velocity, Ms. Quick, and Hyperactive. I think an evil one would help balance it out.
Looking for a decent name for some sort of space girl I recently made. Here's a brief bio if needed.
Name: TBD Species: Space Girl Gender: Female
A female figure, who's flesh looks like the galaxy itself, with purplish/pinkish hair and eyes and mouth glowing white. For night gear, she wears a pair of slippers, resembling the Orbiter NASA Space Shuttle and blue pajamas with a pattern featuring many space ships and planets. Normal gear consists of a flowing black dress which glows with stars. She has no idea why she exists or where she came from, but she is very lonely, due to the vast emptiness of her home. A complete void of the galaxy. Fortunately, she can travel to other worlds, so she's not completely absent from humans. She also owns a guitar, but the only song she knows to play is "Space Oddity" by David Bowie. She is usually very calm and mellow, and any moment where she's angry or sad is rare.
" I'm the princess! Everyone has to do what I say!"I am looking for a few names for some Magitek the character Jackson White creates / brings back after a certain event. Essentially, he got memories of a previous life, and it was none too nice a life - it resulted in him going crazy due to the memories intensity.
- First is a blue disk, one of the first things he creates - it looks like a bunch of curved blades connected together in a disk behind his head. He can either use it to create a Beehive Barrier or send it flying at foes. He calls it the "ultimate attack and defense device".
- Next is his Meta Mecha - he wears a light grey suit made of nanomachines, with a huge suit of armor over that which functions to support his allies...which itself operates a further suit of armor that best resembles a bestial Humongous Mecha - I am looking for names for each.
- Lastly is the huge floating sphere he creates as a fortress - it rains magic lasers across the surroundings, and half the battle with him is getting through the floating sphere's defense systems and Attack Drones.
"Lucy" comes to mind—bonus points for (more or less) meaning "light".
My Games & Writing
Penny C. MacIntyre but she usually goes by "Mac" and she signs her name "P.C. MacIntyre"? Her parents call her Penny, much to her dismay.
