Go To

The Chronicles of Loth is a fantasy webcomic created by Eric Flint and J.E. Flint.

The story is about Mirlinth Loth, a young half-dragon girl on a quest to save her people from extinction. Along the way she meets her traveling companions Ralidant Fisali (the Half-Elf love interest and mage), Kinuko Harada (the quiet monk), Cade (comic relief and halfling thief), Sevikira Feledon (Loth's childhood friend). They travel to destroy ancient pillars, all the while being chased by mad clerics, an evil prince and princess, and a mysterious baddie who wants them nixed.

It is a mix of fantasy, humor, manga action, and clichés.

It is currently on permanent haitus. A backup can be found here.

This comic provides examples of:

  • Action Girl, The female characters are all action girls so far.
  • All There in the Manual: The site has its own wiki, Lothopedia which gives some of the back story of the myriad characters, places and things featured in the comic
  • All Genes Are Codominant: As seen in the case of Ralidant (Half Human, Half Elf), Mirlinth (Half Dragon & Half Human), Sevikira (Half Dragon & Elf)
  • Animorphism: Both forms that Cerene has taken have been catlike. See Morphic Resonance below.
  • Art Evolution: The art continues to progress as the story continues.
  • Dad the Veteran: Ralidant's Father is a General, Mirlinth's father is a general, Kinuko's Father is a General
  • Death Glare: Loth and Kinuko shoot these every now and then.
  • Fanservice: When are the fans NOT being serviced?
  • Does Not Like Shoes: The Treori characters, such as Loth or Sevkira. That their claws seem to be made from the same material as their skin is strange (same color), but seeing as how their design was partially ripped off from Disney's Gargoyles, this is simply a repeat of that oddity.
