Others:

  • The side stories in Doki Doki Literature Club! Plus are about all the characters minus the Player Character forming friendships between each other, with one per each pairing. Each of them has the two characters talking about their respective relationship, and about their feelings, and having a final cute scene together. It's not that it's not about just friendship, but, well, it has those elements just mentioned.
  • It just had to be the route of Fate/stay night in which Saber calls Archer and Rin intimate, Archer puts his jacket around Rin to keep her warm, and a lot of other Subtext occurs that Archer switches sides and Rin hooks up with Shirou.
    • The Fate/Zero Einzbern Consultation Room shorts has Lancer crushing very hard on Saber, complete with fantasies of the two gleefully frolicking through flowers.
  • Ace Attorney:
    • Iris gets teased with Phoenix. She once was in a relationship with him while impersonating her sister, Dahlia, and Phoenix once put his life on the line to protect her by drinking what might be poison. Ending involves a scene when Iris is happy about Phoenix looking at her and Phoenix is slapped for it by Pearl (a die-hard Phoenix/Maya Shipper).
    • Phoenix/Maya themselves have various instances where other characters mistake them for a couple and neither of them attempt to deny it, just becoming embarassed. There's also a scene where Phoenix crossed a burning bridge above a deadly ravine because he was worried Maya might be alone with a killer on the other side, which says something considering he was shown to be deathly afraid of heights earlier. As well as throwing Iris, his own client and former girlfriend whom he implied to still have lingering feelings for, under the bus after she started to accuse Maya of killing in self-defense. Which quite uncannily mirrors his instance earlier in the game when his girlfriend got accused of murder. In Spirit of Justice, Phoenix flat-out told Princess Rayfa how he wouldn't mind jumping into a septic tank if it meant it would help Maya. Keep in mind the other character that he had gone close to this extreme (the bridge instance included) was his former girlfriend in college.
      • From Maya's side, some of her interactions with Phoenix in the the third game were also quite suspect, such as being upset with Adrian Andrews (who is an attractive woman) casually greeting Phoenix like a close friend when she first met her. There's also this exchange right after they listened to the story of how a character met and fell in love with her husband after he risked his life to save her from robbers.
Phoenix: (sniff sniff) T-that's so romantic... I'd fall in love too. I guess.
Maya: Nick, I hope you'll do the same for me if I ever get taken hostage...
Phoenix: With Maya, that possibility always seems to loom in the not so distant future. (gulp)
    • The fourth game seems to tease Apollo/Klavier from Klavier's very first line!
Klavier: I must say I'm used to being inspected by the ladies... but this is the first time I've felt this way with a man.
    • Dual Destinies:
      • Juniper VERY clearly harbors a crush on Apollo, to the point where she will start knitting a scarf full of hearts while gushing about him. Some have joked about how Juniper is Vera 2.0, partially because of this. (Apollo himself seems oblivious to all of it, however.)
      • Apollo and Athena also have a fair deal of it - small things like Klavier assuming that they are a couple fade in comparison to how the second and third cases are all flashbacks as Athena wonders why Apollo left the agency, and the fifth case... Apollo wasn't wearing that eyepatch due to the courtroom bombing, but to stunt his perception powers on purpose so he wouldn't distrust Athena due to her tells... and then, when he is given more concrete reasons to distrust her, he gets on the witness stand and begs Phoenix to prove him wrong. "How can you have faith without doubt?"
    • From the second Edgeworth game, we have Raymond Shields and Katherine Hall, a defense attorney and his client. They show the same kind of trust in each other you see from Phoenix and Maya, and Gregory mentions from their first meeting that he told Raymond to 'note', not 'dote'. Raymond won't hesitate to suspect Katherine when all evidence points to her, however.
  • M and Mary in Shikkoku no Sharnoth, although Mary actually seems to hate him for most of the game.
  • The licensed game adaptation of Tim Burton's film Alice in Wonderland (2010) takes ship teasing in a completely different direction (see the Film section). While the movie contains hints of Hatter/Alice, the game contains hints of Hatter/White Queen.
  • In Majikoi! Love Me Seriously!, barring the main heroines who of course each got their own ending, many hints were also dropped for a number of side characters such as Fushikawa in Mayucchi's path, leading to their promotion to heroine in the sequel.
  • Riki, the protagonist of Little Busters!, obviously has ship tease with each of the girls he can end up with. But more notably, he also has a veritable shitton of it with his Childhood Friend Kyousuke. Much of it - the touchiness, their tendency to get into suggestive situations together - is simple Ho Yay, but in one optional scene Riki outright admits mentally that he has feelings for Kyousuke but isn't doing anything because he doesn't want to ruin their friendship, and everything we hear from Kyousuke on the subject is ambiguous at worst and very much implying he feels the same at best. However, since there is no Gay Option, not even a comedic one like in CLANNAD, the pairing is sadly never to be. At least, not in any of the realities the player can see, anyway.
    • Refrain takes it even further: their last meeting before the dream world crumbles and Riki returns to the real world has Riki completely distraught, yelling that he likes Kyousuke and wants to be with him forever, and Kyousuke screaming back that he likes Riki so, so much more, all coming across in exactly the same way an Anguished Declaration of Love would. And then in the end when Rin asks Riki who he likes, we never hear a response. There's nothing that's completely incompatible with an interpretation that they're just very strong friends, but if they weren't, this is sure as hell what it would look like.
  • in Nekojishi Lin Hu teases Liao a bit when talking about how his fans ship him with the other cats. He does conclude by saying that he doesn't actually have feelings for them, but it leaves Liao blushing nonetheless.
  • Zero Escape:
    • Word of God states that after the first game, Junpei chased after Akane for his whole life. The sequel shows that Akane genuinely wanted to be with Junpei, it was just that she had to devote her life to saving the world from Radical-6. One of the writers confirmed that she was not lying, which lends credence to the theory that her flirtation with him wasn't as pragmatically motivated as fans thought. In VLR timeline, Junpei's future self Tenmyouji is embittered by the whole experience, but both Akane and Junpei reapear in the third game and while she's not happy that he Took a Level in Jerkass it's made clear that they still have feelings for each other and in the True Ending they're planning to get married.
    • While not nearly as obvious as with June, Junpei also has some Ship Tease with Clover. On the route to the true ending, they share a couple of intimate moments, which aren't romantic in and of themselves, but do pave the way for what can be read as Clover developing a bit of a crush on Junpei.
    • Seven and Lotus's bickering is confirmed Belligerent Sexual Tension.
    • Sigma risked his life to save Diana, and later based Luna's appearance off hers. In the third game they're Official Couple.
  • In Spirit Hunter: NG, Akira and Kaoru can have some flirtatious moments together. Kaoru wants to paint symbols on Akira to protect him from spirits, and so asks him to undress in front of her. While riding her home on his motorcycle, Akira has the option to playfully caress her knee. And Kaoru says that she wants to get to know Akira better... in a spiritual way, of course. Don't mind her red cheeks. If she's around for the Demon Tsukuyomi case, then the two will pretend to be a couple to draw out a spirit.
