"Oh, so you don't like needless bloodshed, Lt. Jaggar? Well that's too bad. I do enjoy needless bloodshed. Especially from the innocents."
Archibald Grims, Original Generation

Throughout many timelines, the heroes brought together in Super Robot Wars' various massive crossovers have faced many heinous villains, both original and from differing mecha anime series. These are the very worst.

All spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned!

Original Generation
  • Aguilla Setme is the cruel head of the School, a brainwashing academy for Child Soldiers. Setme is responsible for the brainwashing and Mind Rape of countless children into heartless soldiers, and she has no compunction sending them to die as cannon fodder, or to kill civilians. The process is portrayed as a painful and traumatic one as well, with Latooni, one of the "graduates" of the School who is saved having what amounts to PTSD and severe issues. When Arado, one of her "children" manages to escape her, Setme shows no remorse in brainwashing his Love Interest Seolla and sending her to murder him. When Seolla is saved, Setme has their beloved big sister figure Ouka brainwashed to kill them, Ouka only freeing herself long enough to destroy Setme at the cost of her own life. Setme even says they're not even people to her, just test subjects to be used and discarded.
  • The Ax-Crazy, sociopathic Archibald Grims, a Psycho for Hire without a cause, only wants and loves "needless bloodshed, especially from the innocents." He also gleefully forces Elzam to make a Sadistic Choice, whether it's to allow Grims to unleash a deadly nerve gas, killing the entire populace of a colony, or to kill his, Elzam's, own wife to prevent the attack.
  • Lubikka Hakkinen is a brutal, sadistic mercenary who leads attacks on civilian colonies all the while sporting a big Slasher Smile on his face. One of these attacks took the lives of the parents of Tytti Noorbuck, and this wasn't the first atrocity Lubikka had committed. When Tytti exposed him, Lubikka was forced to flee, becoming a mercenary raider who still carried out war crimes, except now he possesses a fixation on making Tytti suffer. He targets her friends and kills her lover Ricardo, all to hurt the one person who escaped him before he plans to kill her as well.

Crossover Games

  • Alpha 3: Keisar Ephes, the true ruler of the Ze Balmary Empire, was once a great hero who succumbed to darkness and became one of the most evil beings in the Super Robot Wars franchise. Known then as Augustus, Keisar Ephes allowed sacrifices in his name, devouring the souls of those given to him. Initiating the invasion of Earth, Keisar Ephes continued to devour the souls of the fallen before finally revealing himself and his true plans: to destroy the heroes and consume their souls as well before annihilating the entire universe and recreating it as a place of eternal suffering where he could lord over his victims like a God.
  • Judgment: Gu-Landon Goetz is the Representative Knight and the supreme commander of the Fury military. Completely rejecting the idea of peaceful coexistence with humanity, Gu-Landon defies the will of the peace-loving Fury princess Shana-Mia Eterna Fura to wage a war of conquest and extermination against humanity, seeking to remove them to turn Earth into the new Fury homeworld; he sees this as the divine right of the Fury as the ones who seeded life on Earth eons ago, with all the death and destruction inflicted by the Fury ultimately coming from his command. During the final battle, Gu-Landon proves that he is no friend even to the Fury when he, realizing he cannot defeat the Earthlings as he is, diverts the main power of the Fury mothership, the Gau-La Furia, into his personal mecha, the Zui-Gadin, to power it up, uncaring that doing so will mean the death of most of his race, who are suspended in stasis aboard the Gau-La. During this process, the Larseilam overload caused by juicing-up the Zui-Gadin dials up Gu-Landon's murderous rage to the max, turning him into a full-blown Omnicidal Maniac ranting and raving that he will destroy all life in the universe.
  • Super Robot Wars V: Lord Embryo is as awful here as he was in his home series. Having manipulated the annihilation of the Ancient Humans, Embryo creates a new world with brutal systems against those born without Mana, or "Norma", using them as cannon fodder in a war against the DRAGON people to kill as many of the DRAGON as possible and harvest energy from their bodies. Embryo, desiring to purge his humanity of less desired elements, also manipulates the Innovators, Amalgam, Blue Cosmos and more to launch terrorist attacks or brutal, genocidal campaigns that leave countless innocents dead. Deciding to destroy the World of Mana and start over, Embryo plans to kill all the humans trapped in the world while kidnapping every heroine to Mind Rape them into his sex slaves to breed a new race of humanity, even trying to murder them and Ange, the object of his obsession, when they refuse to be his playthings.
  • Super Robot Wars X: Ende the Devourer is a Divine Beast and the creator of Al-Warth, populating it with survivors of the war against the Anti-Spiral to feed on their emotions—developing a taste for negative emotions while seeing positive emotions as mere condiments—while also taking advantage of the ignorance of Black Noir to have it manipulate events for him. Ende also uses his worshippers, the Keepers of Order to manipulate events inside Al-Warth while also training sorcerers in hopes to find a suitable host for Ende's future body. When the Keepers start to summon people from other worlds to bring war to Al-Warth and the creature meant to become his new self escapes, Ende summons more otherworlders to cause more conflict and corrupts the sorcerer Celric Obsidian into an unhinged berserker who uses the Keepers of Order to attack people. When X-Cross defeats both the Anti-Spiral and Black Noir, Ende appears in front of them to tell them that now, he plans to invade their homeworlds to feast on the emotions of its people before devouring Al-Warth in front of the X-Cross. Revived in the New Universal Era thanks to Debonair's machinations, Ende would himself revive and corrupt System Nevanlinna, seeking to drag both the X-Cross and the Earth Fleet Tenku into the New Universal Era so he can devour them for the sake of revenge.
  • Super Robot Wars 30: Emperor Oldna Poseidal is just as vile as he is in his home series. In addition to his various canon crimes, Poseidal would be drawn to the chaos engulfing the Earth Sphere in his efforts to achieve immortality. Upon coming into conflict with both the Dreikreuz and the Rebellion, Poseidal would align with the Zanscare Empire, assisting with the Empire's various atrocities, such as Operation Giant Roller and the creation of the Angel Halo, in an effort to gain the secrets of Psycommu technology for himself. Seeking to overthrow the Quaestors and rule the universe as a god, Poseidal would also support the efforts of the Claw to activate the various Pillars around the Earth Sphere in order to open the portal to Subspace. When betrayed by Mian during the final showdown with Dreikreuz, Poseidal would boast that he has no more use for Mian, seeking instead to replace her with another puppet. Saved from the brink of death by Cyclaminos, Poseidal would ally with her forces following the outbreak of the Estranger war in one final bid to take revenge on the Dreikreuz.
