  • For starters, Freddie's unrelenting support of Grace, starting from the song "I Can Teach You", even if there's the slight hint she's jealous of Pan possibly stealing away Grace's attention, you can see that her devotion is genuine. And the feeling is mutual if one considers these lines.
Red! Grace: Freddie's amazing, she's the one I can trust / And you're treating me like I just got off the bus
Freddie: If I'm ever needed she knows I'm there.
Blue! Grace and Freddie at the same time: Morning fades and the day wastes away / I'm okay, 'cause I waste it with you!
Blue! Grace: Freddie's been by my side since the old days.
Freddie: And we'll age well together too.
  • Despite knowing her for a short while, Calliope instantly bonds with Grace, sings a heartfelt duet with her, and listens and never belittles or considers beneath her problem, despite Calliope having thousands of years of life experience more than Grace. Hecate's prophecy book, despite being incorrect about Calliope's passing, does mention they become best friends. If things would've gone differently, Calliope would've passed her Eidolon willingly to Grace.
  • Despite their falling out, Persephone deeply regrets being unable to say goodbye to Calliope, her former lover, before her death, and gave her a lavish apartment out of kindness.
  • A small one, but Freddie immediately catching on fellow bandmates Kaz and Brian's relationship and waiting for them to figure it out. Doubly heartwarming considering her own lingering feelings for Grace and how they too can end up together.
  • Crossing with Funny Moment, Freddie is absolutely giddy at becoming Grace's High Priestess. Grace is ready to return the favour if Freddie becomes the Last Muse, as well.
  • The entire Green Path for the song "Cast a Spell on Me". Grace and Freddie act as matchmaker for Asterion The Minotaur and Hecate as a favour for Pan. Grace's power create a shoddy but heartfelt stage and Asterion even wears something out of The Beauty and The Beast with Hecate even standing on a balcony. Even if Asterion's start is... rocky at best, depending on the player's choice, the two will admit their feelings, Hecate growing to giant size and twirling Asterion in her hands as they sing, with Grace and Freddie acting as backup singers. It even culminates in a "YEAH!" Shot as everyone is happy for the outcome.
    • Just helping Asterion with his Love Confession in general is this, as he's just so earnest about it that it's hard not to get swept up in his enthusiasm!
Asterion: She probably will [say no]. But, just once, I'd like to be able to ask her, to say it out loud instead of just thinking it. I'll still help you, no matter what she says. I promise.
  • The Red Path for the song "The Ritual", in which Grace uses Tough Love to encourage Aphrodite to keep living. It's an anthem for You Are Not Alone at its finest.
Red!Grace: Who gives a damn about your suffering?
    Crowd: Everybody!
Red!Grace: Who wants to see you be yourself again?
    Crowd: Everybody!
Red!Grace: Who feels your pain in case you're wondering?
    Crowd: Everybody!
    • Eros' intervention in which, despite his Undying Loyalty for his mother, sings his heart out.
Eros: We're just pretending that the ending is near/Mother isn't it clear?/Your family is here!
    • If you mainly took the Green Path, they convince Aphrodite to live with a choral version of "Lost in a Moment," with Apollo singing for her to hold on.
    • And for those that opted for the Blue Path prior to hardening up, you convince her that "Moving on's the only way to go", promising to give her the help and support she needs to get through it, and breaking the cycle of her passing on her eidolon every 20-something years when her memories re-emerge.
      • And the Glomp she gives Eros as he stands in awe at her decision to stay and try to work through her issues is heart-melting.
  • Grace lovingly clinging to Freddie's arm if the player picks the flirt option when the two have reached the reliquary.
  • Grace can possibly empathize and pity Medusa if she picks the Green Path, with a "Not So Different" Remark, being perceived as monsters from the other Idols.
    • If Freddie accompanied Grace and the player takes the romantic option, they share a warm moment, before Grace asks what she would ever do without Freddie. Freddie confidently says Grace will never need the answer to that question. Even considering what is to come, it is still incredibly sweet that, romance or not, as far as Freddie's concerned, they would be companions to the end.
  • Crossed with Tear Jerker, Freddie's Heroic Sacrifice as she stays behind to get The Furies away from Grace at the end of Act II.
  • If you give Persephone the throne back, Orpheus remembers how good music feels and apologizes to her for causing trouble. Persephone lets him retreat, saying she won't forget that he was able to let it go.
  • Grace descending to the Underworld to get Freddie back. She realizes that it can be done... By renouncing her Eidolon to make Freddie The Last Muse. The monumentally act is described in succinct words by Persephone that accompanies Grace.
Persephone: You would give up godhood... Just to bring her back?
    • And Grace's plea is absolutely heartbreaking.
Grace: Any day every day/A life for a life/ Farishta... Please stay.
    • While Persephone looks on in disbelief, Calliope only smiles at Grace's decision, showing that she might have chosen Grace to have her Eidolon, but she is either approving of Grace using it to bring Freddie back, or thinks that Freddie herself (from the short time they know each other) deserves to become a muse just as much.
  • Despite preceding one of the biggest Tear Jerker songs of the game, Freddie revealing that she has been in love with Grace for a very long time, it's sweet. Doubly so if the player does reciprocate her feelings. Especially because Grace had joined the band just to not drift away from Freddie after dropping out.
  • If Freddie is alive and in a romance with Grace, she struts down next to her and after Athena asks who this puny mortal would be, Grace's possible answer is this:
  • As Grace faces the Furies one last time, all seems lost as the powers of the Last Muse don't work on The Speechless. All of her Love Interests have a line as they stand at her side, but Freddie's is especially poignant.
  • The ending of the Freddie Romance arc is a Triumphant Reprise of If Only. Freddie decide that it's a good thing that their relationship has changed and now they can start again properly. When Grace asks if she forgives her, well, prepare the tissues.
    • Cue Big Damn Kiss. The orchestral reprise of If Only is only icing on the cake.
  • Though Pan and Freddie don't get along, if the player romanced Pan and didn't revive Freddie, Pan still speaks positively of Freddie if the player says they wish Freddie was there to celebrate their victory. He'll acknowledge that he and Freddie were competitors for Grace's affection, but he would've been happy if Grace had ended up with Freddie if it meant Grace was happy.
  • The Trial is a great big one. Grace's love interest (or, if she romanced no one, Apollo/Persephone) and friends will side with her against Athena and back her up in song. Some examples include:
    • Pan, if romanced, offers his life for Grace's. Hell, even if he isn't romanced, he can potentially be the first to step up for Grace (after her love interest). Even Athena is shocked that someone like him would do such a thing.
    • Persephone, if romanced, says she didn't know how lost she was until Grace found her. Otherwise, she can defend Grace, saying that she doesn't want another Calliope.
    • Medusa, if Grace offers to help her find a cure, will sing: "I wasn't a monster to you. And now I'm not a monster to me."
    • Aphrodite, if saved, will be there, and thank Grace for pushing her onto the path of recovery. If she went through the Ritual, Eros will be there and say he's backing Grace because his mother would.
    • Apollo can defend Grace by saying that she showed him how the world should be.
    • Finally, every Idol Grace interacted join her chorus. She might have only known them for a week, but she was there for them, and they'll be here for her in turn. The Furies disappear. Athena surrenders.
  • Despite all she's done, Grace can be understanding of Athena's ruthlessness and desperation, seeing as she is shouldering the fate of the Idols by herself, and feeling that she will do what must be done to protect her flock. The Green Path for the Trial ends with Grace forgiving her, reassuring a remorseful Athena that she's met monsters who weren't monsters, and that Calliope hears her apology and forgives her despite everything. No matter what happens, Athena is remorseful, and certain characters still want her to get better even when it seems as if she may never forgive herself.
  • The Ending itself. As far as we can tell, revealing themselves to the world really does seem to be the change the Idols needed to get better, and most everyone seems to be improving some months down the line.
    • If she did not go through with the ritual, Aphrodite seems to have found peace in the adoration of mortals again, and even became a patron for Venus, who herself opened a gallery.
    • If Aphrodite had gone through with the ritual, Venus begins using the publicity to do some good in the world. Eros accompanies her and seems to be able to start finding love in his life again.
    • If they got together, Hecate and Asterion seem to have a healthy and affectionate love life, to the point of being Sickeningly Sweethearts for the other Idols. As cherry on top, if she lives and Freddie and Hecate bonded earlier, Freddie is well on her way to become Hecate's apprentice, implying a warm relationship between the two.
    • If promised help from Persephone, Medusa had began working at her club, and things seem to be looking up for her and her addiction, given even the cynical Persephone is optimistic.
    • If Medusa turns to the government for help with her condition, it is revealed that they may put her in touch with Hephaestus, which confirms he still lives (something the Idols were not sure of) and had been helping mortals since the war. Suddenly, it seems a near inevitability that he and Aphrodite will reunite someday.
    • If Freddie lives, she uses her position as the last muse to help others, and is giddy to be doing tours and playing songs with her best friend/lover again.
    • Simply the implication that Persephone and Apollo are on better terms. Considering how much they were at each others' throat before, it is heartwarming to see that they might have put past grudges behind them now. They even refer to each other as "brother" and "sister."
    • If Grace romanced Apollo, it's not only revealed that he's fixing up his beach shack to invite Grace to live with him, but he's getting help from Persephone to do it.
    • If Grace romanced Pan, he shows up in the apartment with everyone else and wants to try to better himself for Grace's sake. Later, he's become a music producer. His reasoning being that he wants to give Grace a chance to produce music, whether she's still the Muse or not.
    • If Grace romanced Persephone, she's thinking of selling the club to free up her schedule, help the other Idols, and be with Grace more, and offers a round of drinks in Calliope's honor. If Grace is additionally Queen of the Underworld, Persephone sings in the ending song about how she's the only one she'd ever submit to.
  • "Here for the Ride" and its reprise are particularly heartwarming songs in the sense that it is a sweeping duet with Grace promising to help Apollo see the best in the world with Apollo opening himself up to hope again. Doubly heartwarming with Apollo initiating the reprise and promising to stand by Grace, mortal or Muse. Grace accepts the promise he makes, culminating in their harmony and Big Damn Kiss.
    • Additionally, it is the one romance song where Grace initiates and has a significant singing part.
